The approximately 140 rooms are on several buildings around the restaurant building around casually distributed. Two separate pool areas allow the choice between rather exciting and rather calm fun.     The rooms with bath are spacious enough, simple but purpose, honoring equipped. It was cleaned daily, only sunday a little rougher. Each has a terrace or balcony in sufficient size. Air conditioning, fridge, tv, telephone and free safety deposit box are available.

    In the main restaurant are breakfast and dinner with very extensive choice of meals and always request refilled. The offer the hot food changed daily and a themenaband -for us it was fish and sea, delicious-enriched the stay. Who's still individual likes can with reservation 'à la carte' meal. Lunch and coffee break in pool bar area in not economical offer presented. If you wanted, you could almost all of 7:00 until 21:30 o'clock something to eat. The service at the bars (pool and lobby) is also always friendly, fast and also for special wishes open.

The hotel is everywhere very clean and tidy, the staff speaks well German and is friendly. Even with a departure at 6 o'clock in the morning, a a small breakfast offered. The food was varied and there was something there for everyone. The pools ( also the swimming pool) got only therefore not the full score, since they rather cool, the sea was warmer. The fitness area was also well maintained and the offer enough. Complaints we had not, a request, since our daughter in the time of vacation birthday. You got in the morning on a extra nice set ... breakfast table a small, delicious cake. And two women in the morning staff have your a ständchen stituents! From the children's entertainment were nothing more to see, since the actual praise for the late time of year ( end of October, beginning November) not more in the hotel were. Admittedly were because of the late autumn holidays not more many children in the hotel, these would be at the entertainment for the adults participate could. Animation there were in any case yet. This was discreet, if you didn't want to, was not hassled to make. Who completely your peace to have wanted, knew at the 2., a little further afield pool avoid. Location and the surroundings we can not with the existing grid rate, as we often by car were out and definitely not the immediate area and public transportation use. At the next larger place chersonissos there was however also still some open shops with souvenirs. Directly next to the hotel there is a small shop with postcards, suntan creams and similar. Many other had however already, as well as several surrounding hotels, closed. But this is certainly also at the late season. For riders there was a special tip: only about 4 kilometers away there is a Reiterhof ( arion stables) with a tavern, we highly recommend. You can go horse riding or instruction book, the owner ( a German -greek couple) both speak German and greek. The hotel is nice decorated and has a children's playground, you can use. read more

Altogether we spend two very nice weeks in kosta mare. We had our room in one of the older building the hotel. This was although it is very spacious, but could a renovation stand. The room was but, as the whole hotel, very clean. The staff in all hotel areas was very friendly and helpful and you could have almost all easily communicate in German. Food and drink we found very diverse and very deliciously prepared. The beach was in a very good condition and the much described stones in the water we have absolutely not as disturbing felt. read more

My friend and i were with another couple a week beginning october in kosta mare palace! It everything was great! Very nice and clean hotel! Our tour operator was FTI. The food was good and sometimes really good in buffet form! Only one negative: no pineapples with the fruit buffet. I would have wished there! Otherwise really very tasty and something for everyone! Especially good: one could itself orange juice yourself! Room large enough and every day well presented. We had room 106 with view to the inner courtyard on pond with palm trees. Pool was a little cool, but ... ok, the sea with shingle and some rocks in the sea. Bathing shoes are a plus! Special plus: the à-la-carte restaurant (included in the all inclusive once complimentary ) was really great! Best until the last evening fuss than icing on the cake \u263a The town anissaras is quite small and nothing out of the ordinary. If you lots of bars and pubs are looking for, you should probably go to chersonissos (6 kilometer away) One evening there was disco in the hotel. The could repeatedly times can be! The other guests there were mainly german and dutch. The hotel is however less suitable for children, there are certainly other area more for children offer. Otherwise were the guests rather older, the hotel isn't for young people, the party! We had on saturday the 'Kreta hautnah' tour! Was really great! If you Kreta outside of the hotel and the pool experience, this should be a must! Otherwise you can the other reviews here not add a lot more. Absolutely justified 4 stars and reductions.     Spacious rooms, (1 double bed, 1 extra bed, large closet, small closet for the tv and with cabinet, 1 table and a chair) There was a fridge and a safe (free with own code lockable) We had a terrace. Everything super! :-)

    There was a main restaurant, where the morning and evening buffet was. A smaller buffet lunch nearby the pool bar. There are the à-la-carte restaurant (very good) The dishes were plentiful, varied and really good! The drinks were good, but the cocktails something to alkoholreich mixed... It is very clean everywhere!

    The beach is directly at the hotel, separated by a small street. The airport in Heraklion is approximately 20 minutes out, you can see and hear the planes (which did not disturb us however) There are 3-4 small shops in the immediate vicinity... But not more! Whoever large wants to buy, should chersonissos or visit Rethymnon. Excursions could be at the tour operators or book yourself rent a car! (we have a day and to maleme risks)

Around the complex everything was already closed. The bus station is 15 minutes on foot from the hotel; without rental car or bookings of excursions one is more or less at the complex spellbound. Hygiene was so-so; in the 'public toilets' on the complex you never knew exactly, whether for longer unpurified goods or permanently from the guests polluted. The towels in the room smelled crisp, but always gray and stained, so as needed, from. All together we are from the Turkey a clear better standard used to. The staff seemed often very grim, but it was very nice and ... helpful. We were in the last Öffnungswoche and you can tell, the mood of the staff became from day to day better. Annoying were the to the end of always bigger becoming number of cats and then also in dogs, apparently after already closed hotels moved and fodder begged. read more

Very family-friendly hotel ( staff were almost too friendly (-; ), very clean, however could the food despite the large variety tasted better! There is really not lots to whine about, apart from with our superior room the beds not at all comfortable. You could also on the floor sleep, since the mattresses, as well as slatted frame not more reasonable were. 3 days of my vacation I had a nerve jammed, because I am in the bed misplaced had. BTW, this further vacations questioned. Apart from that there is still the noise from the planes to mention, because the ... hotel only 30 minutes from the airport in Heraklion is. If you Rhein main field lives, felt but didn't bother me since it on this noise from the planes only laugh can. Apart from that great hotel! We would go there again! Beautiful, manageable hotel, partially with newer rooms and nice hotel, the is kept clean. While we were there, there were relatively a lot of french people (older persons in groups) and German present. The average age has because of the french guests of 60 + limited. ;-) we were the last two September weeks and it was astonished, not more families with small children were present. read more

    We had only booked a double room and got a family room! A very large thank you very much! This was really big, that it also too fourth and baby carriage not cramped was in' living room'. We had in the living area where the large slept and our bedroom a tv, a fridge was available, with two rooms air conditioning and a safe, as well as telephone.     The staff, wether at the front desk, the waitresses in the restaurant or the bartenders were throughout all very friendly and accommodating and very child friendly! We had a crib in the room for our 10 month daughter and could on the next day another gotten, because the no mattress had was within 5 minutes. Also kettle we could hosts, at all not a problem and promptly. The cleaning of the rooms also to satisfaction made, these cleaning lady was very dear and child-friendly. Only the cleaning lady, the in the morning the area the rooms wipes-was a little rude or irritable, if we for breakfast wanted, one heard already, hardly that you opened the door had ' no, no, no-five minutes!     To the airport is the journey time is about 30 minutes you can hear so the planes, but didn't really disturb. To the beach it is a stone's throw away, just over the street upstairs and one is already there. A few smaller shops there is just next door, otherwise you can with the taxi to Hersonissos drive, there, there are enough shops.

    Both of our rooms of the family room were very big with direct sea view, although we only had booked lateral sea view. Both rooms were with a tv and air conditioning, this safe and refrigerator and dvd. Cleanliness and condition great.

Hotel was the category. The older building or bungalows were standard and functional. Cleanliness was good. Rich and good breakfast. Something for every taste. Respect: guest structure in September very much on older and loud french, in groups occur. read more

    Friendliness of the staff was not always really. With some one has already noticed that there is a long season. With the language was lacking it now and then times. Cleaning of the rooms was ok. With complaints, as with us was trying this clear up.

    The beach quick reachable, you need only the promenade to cross. The pebbles/ sandy beach is however not the greatest, bathing shoe recommended, since there were very many rocks and larger cliff ledges in the water are. Water apart from that very clean and clear. With a small train you can get a tour book, depending on the length of the drive about 2 hours or half a day book.

Hotel with good atmosphere, but unfortunately with bad kitchen. First, we would like to say that we already once in kosta mare palace were, this was 2009 and at that time was the quality the all inclusive performance much better than 2012. From the nationalities were as follows volume represented: french, German, and then a few dutch, swiss, Italian. Russians weren't there. The average age is mixed. I would the complex not as large designate, who already times in Turkey vacation spend has, knows what large hotels are. The complex consists of an old part and a new part. There are two fresh water swimming pools, one where the ... entertainment take place and a quiet pool. To the beach you can almost spit. Sunbeds at the pool and the beach are free of charge. At the beach you can also kayaks in vain check-out counters. For the towels which one for the pool or beach lent gets you have a deposit of 15 Euro per person deposit. We had a superior room, nice spacious, with a balcony. To the cleaning the room I can say so much, that it generally good carried out was, bathroom was always very clean, there were towels on request daily. Only with the cleaning the furniture has one it not sunday The safe in the room is free of charge. On arrival there was a small bottle of wine and fruit. The mattresses are very hard! I have unfortunately only of guests learned that a soft edition can get. It would have been nice this from the hotel when we arrived to learn, not everyone with the back problem has, logs at the front desk so.     The staff speaks German, English, french, this is what we have heard. Generally the staff very friendly, sometimes almost like old friends :-). Unfortunately there are but also exceptions. This exception works in of the pool bar and means' manolis '. On this case here to write a special concern, because it almost personally made. There was derogatory comments from him what we as drinking, with a greek to speak, he is refusing to do so in principle. The drinks are on the counter really slammed ' on the table. We then from other guests time experience, the staff at the pool bar was the tips directly push up, and behold, this was abruptly with friendliness smothered. Honestly, no matter where we have been to Kreta were, we were always with an insane hospitality received, as we it in still no country otherwise where have learned, and this without in advance tip to have been.     As mentioned to the beach you could spit. Who a problem with the noise from aeroplanes is not only in this hotel wrong. Everything east of Heraklion is in einflugbereich. Whereas you had to say that this usually in the morning and evenings limited. The individual airplanes hears one so about 15-20 seconds. For us it was not so bad. Nearby there are two supermarkets, a directly on the promenade, a directly next to the hotel, further to the rear ' mikes supermarket'. I was now already 6 times on Kreta, so I would always a rental car rates. The excursions about the tour operator offered, are very expensive. A example, day trip to santorini, per person 135 Euro. The length of the stay there is 4 hours, that is we felt that almost rude, most of the others excursions cost about 50 Euro per person. A counter-example, a rental car for 7 days with car Kreta 169 Euro. In this price all insurance costs, and this without excess. Those who still excursions bay, you can't be helped.

We had two very nice and varied weeks in this hotel. Our room was always clean the bed linen was several times changed. The food at the buffet was, no matter what meal, very lovingly prepared and very tasty. The theme nights, all the Krone on. The staff were always friendly and a joke. All had very good foreign languages skills. The immediate area you can take bus or small railroad explore and the location of the hotel made possible interesting excursions. ( Kreta was quite large) All in all a very nice holiday, come back surely sometime once again. read more
