OK for one night - too expensive

I was just for one night there, with Italians, therefore unfortunately no indication of the foreign languages skills. The hotel is very large, you feel somewhat lost in the long (consistently orange decorated) courses. On the ground floor, which actually the basement (due to the hillside location on the mountain), there is a 'ghosts' -front desk, which appears, as you would for decades not been used. There is merely a reference to the first floor. There is the actual front desk. Was very quaint and difficult to find. We had booked a double room, we got a room with three ... single beds and a staircase to a raised 'half' room with two other single beds led. Well. Apart from these characteristics, it was reasonable, everything was very clean, safe and TV were available. Unfortunately no air conditioning, but after the hotel right in the winter sports region of Tarvisio is, you can understand. The staff at reception and bar was very friendly, the cleaning staff unfortunately less. The value for money I found not so great, I found it for this, what you get, a little too expensive. It may for a skiing vacation very nice ( amongst others is a spa area available), but the price varied not really to summer season. Positive: great for hikers, walkers and cyclists, right on the edge of the forest with access to mountain road. read more
