The hotel is split in 3 areas:
The older area has double and divided up into several individual houses, clean and tidy, but rather than good three stars hotel. The advantage here: this area has a wonderful lonely sonnenaufgangsbucht and a spacious garden. Here is the creche. The newer spaces are divided into double room for a pool and deluxe rooms to the main beach with a pool. Both areas are new and modern. The breakfast buffet is for Asien very good, there are european, and asian fare.
Life on ko Samet finds ausschl. At the beach instead, you can ... on foot from bay to bay A street there is only from the ferry terminal to the first bay, then a dirt track. On the paved road are also all the shops the island, as well as some restaurants. The most beautiful but the restaurants directly at the beach.

We were over new year's eves and had a full price for the new year's eve to pay. Also the children, however, these had nothing. There was no child animation and already around 22,30 was the buffet dismantled. Around midnight was almost not a soul more on, especially those the children had. ( price for dinner 200 Euro for e and 100 Euro for children, no matter how old you are!)
Outside of the complex it is quite dirty, even though the beach very clean is!
Shoppingparadies it is not, at least there is a 7/11 nearby. Prices in ... the hotel high, but at the beach there are a lot of restaurants with reasonable prices (150 Bhat per meal about).
Nice guests from the hotel: for a stay more than a week you will to dinner at the beach invited!
Water and beach nice and above all even for children adequate!
Many tourists from Asien, also many boats, a smell left.
Small beach very pleasant and idyllic!
As it is quite close to Bangkok is, you can the island good for a then holiday use!

We were truthfully disappointed from the hotel. We had a premier sea-side room. First we got a room which literally 'on the edge' of the complex was in other words view of the opposite concrete wall-nothing pool view. In addition the room was not really clean (coffee on the floor, fat finger on doors and in the bathroom, lighting didn't always work). Are then a room weitergezogen -went sunday Could next day still 3 rooms one can but wanted to finally our holiday at 7 days trip start.
The premier area is directly at the as conservatory used as been ... of the hotel, next to the restaurant)
And not as you would think in a quiet, secluded part.
The staff seemed partly very disinterested. So we feel it is an absurdity, that other guests the lower categories booked constantly in the pool splash the actually only for the premier area booked guests should be. Later it was so far, that the locals from the beach there. The bar in the pool area was not manned and there was never anyone past the a possibly asked about drinks etc. The whole hotel area dirty is excessive it was missing however everywhere almost the last cut and the whole complex looks a little neglected. It was for example never in the room or bed something nice arranged in other words petals, fold towels (only once after a tip!). We know that from the asian area different (even with einfachereren hotels). Breakfast is ok, dinner we only tried it once-very well arranged - at the beach you can better, cheaper and with much more atmosphere.
Please note smoking this hotel get even stars for 'best non-smoking' -it is perhaps also in the catalogs of the travel agent are mentioned. Almost in all areas smoking is not allowed. Also by the pool not. There are a few small, nothing really nice areas for smokers available. The on the rooms and in the restaurant (although the is open) may not be smoked is yes of course, but in the outdoor area?! If you 'caught' or it in the room after smoke smells costs the way about 80,- Euro.
At check in you get only very poor information where the in the hotel is etc., as with the towels for the beach runs, if you book half board can and so on and there is also no x information map in the room. The beach the island is actually really beautiful. There are very many day trippers with their speedboats (directly to to the beach). We can koh Samet not really as great island be recommended. Only the weather in december was great - zero rain or clouds which at this time of the year in other parts of thailand rather occurs.

We were 5 years ago have been there... I believe there is nothing more... Everything was newly remodeled... Not everything to the advantage, the part. Also inappropriate on the surrounding area. Nevertheless great facilities, we had a bungalow at the beach... Beautiful. read more

Hotel: 3-4-star
The hotel offers 2 different worlds in!
The complex is quite spacious and consists of 2 completely different baustilen and 3 different price ranges.
We were in the left obviously former and older, traditional bungalow areas. We had bungalows directly with beach and sea view. The bungalows in the middle area are a bit bigger.
Next to the front desk there is a new spa and between them, with a pass, a access to a newly built 2 floors residential complex in bauhaus style. Everything very modern - includes a interior in the pool area is. Over of ... the pool bar is on the 2. floor a glass porch in the exercise center. Nice to see from all units ☺. On the small balkonterrassen are instead of chairs only stable tables also as stool serve. Everything beautifully on the display.
Right next to the reception there is a 3. residential complex for premiumgäste.
These 2 floors wohntrakte envelop of 3 sides the interior pool. Open to the beach. Everything quite closely built. There are also the suites were located.

The said kaew beach resort is a great resort located in one of the most beautiful beach sections on the island and is in three categories divided into:
Simple accommodations in cottages in the old part of the hotel the pineapple beach ( quiet bay, not for swimming suitable) with private pool, premier rooms in the middle part the hotel with a separate pool, as well as premier seaside rooms with a pool-villas and beach villas, also with a separate pool ( very quiet and only for premier seaside guests).
We had a premier seaside room, the us as a ... couple with its around 50 meters² almost too big, but with which we due to the great modern decor very satisfied! There is every day free two bottles of water to the room, there are a safe, as well as mini bar with a fridge available. Liked a great deal the indirect led lighting and fantastic bathroom with rain shower and (!) bath tub.
The cleaning of the rooms was always without complaint. As you are in the resort, so as to the whole island, emphasis on saving with water sets, towels and bed sheets not daily, but only on request changed.
The complete staff, from the reception, on maid service and waiter, to the gardener is always friendly and it is always greeted and after the well-being asked. We felt very good!
The breakfast buffet was international and rich. There was something there for everyone.
Evenings we were always eat out, as we only booked breakfast had and the restaurants in the area but cheaper.
There are all sorts of guests there, both the nationalities ( German, swiss, chinese, russians, australians ), as well as the age ( families with children, honeymooners, pensioners and student groups ) regards.
What we noticed, that lots of guests no longer as 4 days stay, but maybe also because, that the peak season on koh Samet were. About the hotel it can in any case not located.
The beach right on the had said kaew in front of the resort, is one of one of the most beautiful beach sections on the island. Crystal clear water, no quallen and seaweeds, in the water no sea urchins and rock. Thus exactly the correct for vergnüglichem splash around. The swimming area in front of the hotel is also separated, so, that one does not stand on speed boats and jet ski eighth should. Who however a correct refreshment wants, should rather short in the pool hop. The only we want to critize may, is the catastrophic state of the sun screens at the beach. The fit unfortunately not to the rest of the flair and ambience.

We were in room 917 accommodated. The rooms are badly soundproofed. You hear pretty much everything.
On the first day the property still made quite early clean, afterwards unfortunately very late respectively only on call at the front desk. Soap, comb, cotton swabs, sanibeutel and what you in the bathroom needs was unfortunately not at all available. ( we are supposedly in the four star hotel!)
Around shampoo several times we had to beg. The nice lady of the cleaning services then shown, that shampoo in the dispensers to find is (we are also only tourist ), unfortunately this was ... at second day empty and was not refilled.
The room safe was unsurfaced and worked unfortunately not at all. Several hotelbeschäftigte was too busy, has half the morning in the room cost.
Not just the prices in the hotel's own bakery are steep!
The beach is crowded with people and flying vendors, the really either needed a fuck.
The annoying without limits!
Here there were a lot of wild dogs, with preference at the beach or in the water their droppings inside bothered. It is totally disgusting and our badefreude very diminished.
On the day of departure, check out is 12 hours, we were from the reception at least 3 times called, and the early in the morning, when we check out.

We stayed for four nights in this hotel, luckily there were not more! We had one gartenbungalow booked, the in a quiet location was. The Wardrobe we could ieider 't use, since this odor was unbearable. The safe therein, was not attached, the money might also right on the bed beach chairs can. There was a small bay, where mysteriose pipe were and lots of large rock. Since we wanted to definitely not baden. For larger beach you had to walk through the complex run, the we had probably mistaken, because we thought the two beaches are together connected. At ... the large beach met us then soon the blow, the idyllic feeling no trace. It was very much animation( Bananaboote, speed boats and small ferry boats) and very many tourists. Reminded us much of Mallorca or Canaries if you like it please. We had rather a quiet Island expected. Our in short: we would never again this island, since them were very dirty and the trash there is a large problem represents. It stinks in each corner a shame! read more

Altogether a very nice hotel, the rooms great, the newest room type (seaside) had booked. The bungalows are from the outside already somewhat older, saw from the inside but just as great from. From our room we were immediately with the restaurant and right at the beach. Very family friendly, many couples with children, you have at no time felt disturbed, it runs everything very nice. The beach is white, very clean (since he every evening from the staff cleaned, totally great), the water is crystal clear and the entire beach along you can evenings to eat, since everywhere great ... small bars with pretty places to sit is required.

7 room categories. The cottages: basically beautiful as it has something more privacy. The fitter is not with the cleaning but renovated and new room types in the larger buildings comparable. Directly on the beautiful beach and about 15 minutes walk (along the beach) in the village with bars and shopping. Very good kitchen cafe or bakery with own delicious cakes! A disadvantage can be, that is the closet in the bathroom and it was no extra toilet. read more

We visited the hotel for a weekend break and booked through the hotel directly a package- Loveaholic. Were costs that night with breakfast, an individually appointed bed, a couple massage, and dinner.
The room were new, welcoming and clean (pool Villa-very recommended: a lot of peace and quiet!). Defects: the staff looked at daily housekeeping not everything. The breakfast was for two days sufficiently-however I can not imagine, that so few european food for a two-week leave satisfactory is (toast, butter, jam, croissants, cereal and fruit). The massages were great (have tested the next day a)! Food and drinks were ... always satisfying, but our dinner was not as expected in the package-no special table or anything like that. A shame.
If you don't book half-board and want to save money: at the beach simply hike along a restaurant after the other. read more

We were in a deluxe cottage room, what is renovated, but something in the days is come. I would next time a Premier room (new, better facilities). We sure go again to this hotel, it is easy with its excellent location from. The restaurant is poor and expensive (but super chic and modern), but there are numerous restaurants directly at the beach with very good and inexpensive food, and nightly fire show. read more

On my many travel I have never had such a bad service and so much dirt in a had alleged three-star hotel. It is on the island very much nicer and hopefully also clean. When we arrived in the room, I noticed, that it only on first glance look, as the room would have been made. Pants in the closet a lodger, the bed without bedding, dirty glasses and hair and awake remains in the bathroom and in the shower. Have written me immediately at the reception, the also she would immediately send someone from housekeeping. When nothing happened I ... was still three times at the reception. I was convinced at the end of the day, someone from housekeeping came the would make, and at least the bed. I am therefore confident dinner. When I returned to about 24 hours, the room was still not made, and it was nobody more could you mention, the understood english. The next day I scolded while, until they finally the manager have in/out privileges. The insured has to take care of themselves again nothing happened. In the afternoon, I then women from housekeeping and dragged in the room, then was finally cleaned it. Then but also has me the cleanliness not convinced, stains on the bedding and towels seemed also the not clean. In the bathroom there was a lot of hair from all world. read more
