The Evason hot springs belongs to a thai group, which mostly very pleasantly noticeable. The hotel is altogether in brown and beige, with a lot of wood, even in the elevators (!), therefore it looks the part. Somewhat badly dark, but that is probably wanted, there very strong attempt, a relaxed atmosphere to create (which was quite good) and beduinenstil ape (which during the clothes of the staff almost a bit ridiculous works). Throughout the hotel has a good, that didn't blow on you air conditioning (not too cold!). A bit of a surprise is missing in the store a ... range of postcards, except for dusty leftovers (the from good reasons no one wanted.) Nothing was available. Extremely annoying is the automatic deactivation of the key cards to 48 hours. Just when you need the room. read hotel review

The evasonzimmer is quite large with lots of storage space and a good bed. To the greetings there is a fruit plate, in addition 2 small bottles of water daily. The balcony had a comfortable chair, and a pull out couch. What is missing, is a sun protection. With a location of the room after west has you have a atembraubenden view in the gorge, but in the afternoon, it is almost impossible that also to enjoy. The room is well darkened with sliding doors (with wooden slats). At night you can see over the gorge the lights of Jerusalem. The bathroom is large and friendly with sink, toilet, bidet, bathtub and separate shower with enough storage space. The shower is almost huge, but finds here a drawback, the already in the better hotels in Thailand often annoying: the shower head is firmly installed, not abgenehmer-or adjustable!

  • Gastronomy

The food sets standards! To breakfast and dinner there are buffet with an incredible selection and several possibilities, something fresh to order. The arab elements come a bit too short and limited especially on the appetizers. Each evening has a motto, like for instance indian, mediterranean, asian, etc. Partly. Even with an additional cost. We have the indian evening enjoyed, the service was really excellent, while we instead of the mediterranean rather somewhat more arabic would have had; certainly a matter of taste. You could eat lunch in a bar food, here is the arabic kitchen better represented. In both restaurants, you can inside, and a few places outside, the main restaurant with a great view on the waterfall. The prices were except for the (in the country brewed) beer adequate. Large water : 2,75 Euro - bottle of jordanian wine : €3-alcoholic drinks : €8-beer : €7-plus 27% bonus (as the country usually).

Excellent staff, the best service, in Jordan really! The same applies to the attached restaurant.

The hotel prides itself with its unique location and the whole waterfalls. The latter were wonderfully abzuschauen, otherwise however a disappointment. The large waterfall was, as was the large pool, not accessible ('closed'). One has only 3 ways: 1) at the top end the area, already outside the hotel, there is a 'family waterfall', a klitzekleines pool with over 50° hot water, with 2 tables and a couple of benches (open to the public). 2) as mentioned in other reviews extensively described the pay spa 3) behind the spa a further small waterfall, under which one in a slightly larger pool in pleasant temperature swim (for correct swim too small). The area was nicely decorated, with a couple of beach chairs and sun beds, but without any towel/drink service. Honestly said the workout way back to the hotel not worth it.

The assessment of the situation is extremely dependent on, what exactly you are looking for. For those, which we after 2 weeks exhausting trip through the country with a bit of luxury, want to relax, it is almost perfect. Situated in a deep ravine, through which a small river roars and plenty of waterfalls rivers, away from any other civilization. Any other shopping or dining possibilities were not.

Unfortunately I had a very unpleasant experience during my stay at this hotel. The management, facilities and service was despicable. In terms of cleanliness, food quality and spa services I was very disappointed. No value for money whatsoever. - Rooms were very small. - It would take you upto 30 minutes to get your eggs during breakfast and another 30 minutes to convince someone to get you coffee (maybe they will maybe they wont) - If you complain, they may charge extra on your bill so be careful. - AC in the room does not always work - Spa is ... very dirty and I wouldn't want to get into that water if you pay me - Type of guests are also a disappointment but lets not go there. read hotel review

    - It may be cleaned it may not. In our three nights there they cleaned it once and we had to call house keeping at 4pm and stay there wait for them to make sure they cleaned it again. . !! - The sizes are small for the value of money - The building is old

  • Gastronomy

    - very poor food quality - drinks are undecided, not fresh not bottled but something very unique, unpleasant.

  • Service

    - Staff were rude and unfriendly. When asked for directions they wave you in the general vicinity of were you need to go but nothing more. . we got lost for about 15 minutes trying to find the spa, - When complained about anything they said yes of course and disappeared for hours, feel free to chase them down they may or may not reappear. - Managers are rude so dont bother with them, try the little guys, they can be more helpful - When a staff member poured me juice and spill half of it on my sleeve he thought that was normal and continued with business as usual not even an APOLOGY!!

  • Sport & Leisure
    1.0

Not sure they had any of that. . . they market soo much but do so little. Water quality in the spa is dirty. Its not natural dirt, the floor tiles were coming off, there were soft spongy things, I stepped in and out in less than two minutes. .

You are in the middle of no were so if you are not happy with anything you are kind of stuck. It would be difficult to drive in and out of there at night so make prior arrangements to escape.

The whole hotel is on quite a high standard, but especially positive emphasis is, the furnishings were rather typical for the country and not the typical five star hotel-no matter is. The rooms had two balconies in the bedroom, as well as on the bathroom with a great view to the dead sea. The location-in the middle of Wadi is exceptional. The pool area could be a little bit bigger, there were partly not enough pool chairs available. The gym is very well equipped. The SPA is a few meters from the main building in a suitable construction and had ... their own particular character. The treatments were good to very good, however on a very high level. The food (we had half board) was very good, both breakfast, and dinner at the buffet. Alternatively the hotel buffet on a higher viewpoint (panoramic complex-part of the hotel) overlooking the dead sea food. Overall, we were with the service in the hotel, as well as in the SPA very positively surprised. The hotel has its own 'trip' section, which is very good for excursions in the surrounding towns and cities worries. read hotel review

I had a room and it was quite evason large with a king size bed, a huge large televisions including DVD Abspielgerät, a sitting area with table and fresh fruit and the bathroom was also very large (separate shower with shower's wall and bathtub)-just wonderful of course was the balcony with a view of the nature. I really liked the hotel, as it is very rustic built is usually with dark wood, especially the staff was very friendly. The cook used the hotel only food grown and meat from the hotel's own breeding very delicious. You can relax in the ... hotel really. 2-3 days really recommended, so that even the six-senses Spa test can. This is below the hotel (on foot about ten minutes walk, the ascent is very exerting and hot.). One pays a entrance from about 25 American dollar for those whole stay and then you can also use the natural hot spring in the Spa. Furthermore, there is a public hot spring at the Hotel and at the Pool. For me it is the perfect place for a couple of days so really to relax and unwind. To The total The sea is only 20 minutes by car. read hotel review

The staff was very, very polite and accommodating. Requests were almost of the lips. The staff noticed our names and preferences (for example, coffee for breakfast, the square at the Dinner.) The hotel is located in a very isolated in a ravine! For us it was more of a plus since we were looking for peace and quiet, some can be a problem. To the next town (madaba) is about 25 minutes drive. The hotel offers a great many trips, has its own transport service or organized on request taxis. Lastly, I have to say that our holiday this ... hotel was perfect and we again at any time visit. read hotel review

We stayed for a night in the hotel. Basically, this hotel is highly recommended. The hotel was located nicely on the end of a canyon, directly on a water fall. The furnishing of the hotel and the room was very tastefully. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food (breakfast and dinner) was very good. May be I only have the following points of criticism do a:1) the lounge of the hotel water fall is, at the moment, completely destroyed. According to what it was a few months ago a storm with floods given. Unfortunately, the lounge is still ... not repaired. I guess it will take some time, until it is again prepared. 2) The Spa was a bit far away from the hotel (at the end of the gorge Road, respectively). 3) The restaurant has tons of staff, the were friendly, but the service was not so great. Instead to focus on the essential, the staff rather minor. Therefore, it would seem, that the hotel more, than it really is. The hotel is recommended and definitely worth a stay. read hotel review
