If Union hotel is like coming home! Staff was very friendly and nearly all the former are there! The ship is in front of the hotel and these tours on the Moselle river are very been nice. And the food was Franco in the kitchen is lovely and the breakfasts are good. We are seven years and will come back and we can recommend this hotel. read more

We stayed at the Hotel Union and are very warmly received. It has been rented us a beautiful room with view to the Moselle. The menu left nothing to be desired and the price/performance ratio was right. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is where we will stay here again. read more

We were a group of about 20 people around in Cochem the Winefest held to visit. The facilities in the room were thrown together. No phone TV/radio or similar was available in the parking place upfront rooms. A required TV did not work. Everything seemed slovenly. Partly the rooms weren't cleaned or the beds were made. Sheets and towels were very worn. Breakfast was reasonable 100 euro /double room. read more

Our first wine festival. In the hotel we were given a lovely large room with view to the Moselle and balcony, unfortunately no tv. But the large terrace and the good food, and friendly staff brought us think. Every day there were fresh towels and even fresh rolls for the rich breakfast buffet on Sundays. The check-in process was extremely smooth closing the fireworks. Monday we could even sleep and have breakfast at 10:00 A.M.. We are already looking forward for the 2009 festival Hotel. The Hotel Union is located in Cochem right on the main through road, which led to noise intrusion especially at night. Rooms facing the back like be quieter. Overall the hotel made a unkempt impression, the comforters on the beds and the pillows were everything else besides fresh. Our shower was dirty and moldy. You couldn't quite feel comfortable. The breakfast was quite okay, we had only booked bed and breakfast. Overall, I would not want to stay there again, especially the price of 100 Euro per double room not appropriate. But it was a wine festival, which made the ... price may be a bit more expensive. Hotel Union I can't recommend. read more

The decor of the rooms is not what we voted for. The 'lock' and collected garbage character. The beds have mostly a foam core and part of. no pull out bed. Television, radio, internet, night table lamps, wet bar are not available. Rooms (especially bathroom) are not old and disabled guests. The rooms are neglected (bathroom with mold and lime edges).
