Since we already for 5 years the christmas party with our daughters with annex and children celebrate, this means, that we still like, even if the owner has changed. Certainly you could still be many changes. What we miss is the former bubble bath! A shame, shame. read more

We were as a group with about 60 people in the hotel romans bathroom. Outside ornate, inside rather worn. At the check-in there were major problems, although annoyed, but the friendliness was offered. The style of the hotel is of course old, but has its charm. Unfortunately the building to getting very old, so that you very much invest needs. I suspect there are a few 'are they are in new and renovated state, but also some, with which one already when entering smells, as long as you not used anymore and aired were. The breakfast was unloading and very ... good. Other prices for the bar or coffee occasionally have it all. Times quick one or two cocktails etc. Nehmen is very expensive. Here would be a smaller price more value.

Great hotel, at the but also nothing at all fault. I visit it anytime very gladly again and feel there like at home.
The staff is definitely friendly and courteous. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, and the baths are very comfortable.
The impressive large thermal pool itself is worth seeing. I have never seen in another hotel such a great breakfast in stunning rooms experienced. read more

We wanted to a hotel with historic flair and found a unfortunately very shabby hotel, the cleanliness rather an unknown is.
Hardly in the room arrived
Everywhere dead flies on marble windowsills and on the floor.
Thick layers of dust on ledge and in (!) wardrobe. Well and then the guest of course immediately a bit more. Beer bottle behind the closet? Okay, stop, back to front desk.
We complained and without hesitation we got the junior suite. Everything very friendly, but really surprised seemed the staff at the reception not. And daily greets the marmot.
The cleaning ladies had ... to go to the new rooms re-advance. Hardly were they way, we saw, that the battery of the safe was empty-again call. Also this request was promptly done. The battery has been replaced, whose packaging was two days on the floor-where was the cleaning lady? Later then thirsty- ojee rostwasser from the taps-after five minutes walk.
Bed: two sleepless Nights so uncomfortable and the pillows possibly.
Wellness area: full black seaweeds in the indoor swimming pool ( or mold? No idea). Behind a former jacuzzi (professional covered.) everything is full of dirt-why cleaning? Saw none, except I!
Breakfast:
For 7.50 OK but for me as a breakfast lovers well, hard toast, incompetent service, the complaints as attack-I would be happy with an honest and friendly feedback.
The hotel has great potential, it has the flair of the, you feel like in the past.
But the staff are not the hit.
Charwomen: professional blind
Waiter: bored and uninterested (with a exception a bedrock, the already 40 years there is )
Kitchen: not used but with a menu per day for 42. - too expensive.
It is simply a misery. Great location, wonderful house, but it is missing simply at motivation. We are aware, renovations and maintenance costs loads of money, but this is the first time not at all. Clean room, accommodating staff, tasty food - and see the reviews here completely different from! read more

Very large disappointment. We together with a girlfriend, the Roman Bath hotel elected, because we a comfortable wellness vacation or weekend wanted to spend. Unfortunately very disappointed. First we in the afternoon by the pool spent. Unfortunately there were no drinks served and we were also not allowed the beverages at the pool taking, because we the dangerous glasses in the pool throw and then unfortunately the entire pool empty need to do, the bla bla. Blah like always, the staff were not really motivated us a serving.
The hotel room was a nightmare. For a 5 + house I ... was really shocked. The hotel is very outdated. Everything is oxidized and totally consumed. You have to pay for everything. Even for the Acqua fit in the pool.
The dinner was good however they have no affordable and good wine. We wanted a good Italian red wine drink, since said to me waiter, most wines on the wine list not anyway and Italian wines (the few they have) you have anyway only starting from Euro 150., -upward. He?! Well, then reluctantly a pinot noir Euro 39.-, the unfortunately almost not drinkable was. Real Headache wine. Were very disappointed. read more

Who old, stylish and maintained hotels loves, is here in good hands. The classic Ambiance of the interior and the beautiful restaurant-terrace compensate the Antiquiertheit and the wear and tear of the old house.
Criticism for the wine service: the first bottle of Pinot Noir- house wine was clearly oxidized (Malaga-Geschmack), what their sommelier with 'barrique' explained and us instead of a second bottle of a other, less suitable Pinot Noir set-a total 'no-go'. read more

The concierge, a charming Gentleman of the old school, I was greeted by the movie already on the doorstep and led me to front desk and later directly to the room. That was a dream. The ancient massive built-in cupboard, the massive bed and the beautiful Stucco on the walls gave a harmonious, comfortable Picture. The most beautiful was the breakfast in the massive hall with fußbodentiefen windows and views of the park. The older breakfast was unbelievably helpful and the buffet huge. Lots of fresh juices and different fresh, cut Obstsalatvarianten, not the frozen it otherwise everywhere returns. A ... unforgettable stay. read more

The 4-Star Superior hotel 'Roman Bath' is a very nice and well-kept Hotel in the center the spa town of Badenweiler. The public Areas as well as the red carpets tiled corridors and flight are very stylish decorated and breathe the spirit of the old grand hotels. Next to the refined and plush atmosphere convinced me particularly the hotel's own Cultural Programme, the ' Kulturresidenz Romans bath' offers several times a month in their magnificent Hofsaal lectures and musical performances on, often with prominent occupation. the guests seem rather mature age to be, however i also younger people found, the ... atmosphere is in spite of the upscale atmosphere very relaxed. Side of the house you will find, reachable over a narrow entrance from the castle place from, some parking spaces. ( 4 euros fee/ Day), in the next Periphery there are however also a public ( underground) Parking garage. the value for money i would altogether than harmonious designate, I paid for a superior- single room 112. 00 euro including breakfast.
