Room not according to the latest standard. ( nineties) the bathroom with shower offers very little space. The hiring of bathrobes cost 10,00 Euro, towels 5,00 Euro. The hotel lies scenic on the edge of the forest. read more

The first impression was not up to the, what we from a four star hotel expected. The furnishing is rather old fashioned. Regarding cleanliness there is nothing to complain about, except, that one of our toothbrush glass was not cleaned. We missed a mini bar/ fridge in the room. Because we with a dog on the way were, we were a room assigned, which especially for dog owners use, -less than the other room, pvc floor, view on one of the side building, because of this really dark. Dog could neither to the restaurant on the lawn of the house. ... Saturday night we wanted to use the bar, unfortunately this was closed, although for example from o'clock happy hour was announced. The spa area looks very nice. But here you should ensure that not through other guests disturbing, the field visit, while there unclothed excellent shopping options. The breakfast was a highlight for us. Everything very tasty and fresh! Sparkling wine inclusive. read more

    Our room was cramped and dark. The pvc soil was new but not very nice. The bathroom is functional, up to missing hooks for the bathrobes for example, and the glass door rattles loud, especially at night time the door and used offers otherwise not very much privacy.

We were there for 3 days for wellness and skiing holidays in this hotel. The hotel is located scenic, away from any hustle and bustle very close to the small but fine winter sport areas the hochrhön. We had booked a new year's Eve/new year package and were totally thrilled! The fact that the hotel was fully booked one hundred %, is never noticed, friendliness, competence, cleanliness-everything so, as if you're the only guest. Very nice, well-kept Welnnesslandschaft, very good food, beautifully decorated tables in the restaurant, nice rooms-all of the finest quality. Up to a small something everything was perfect for a relaxing and quiet hiking and wellness vacation in Rhön suitable. Options for shopping ( in the larger style) are however only in Fulda or Neustadt a. D. Saale (circa 13 kilometer) possible.     The rooms are very spacious, only the bathroom a bit small side. The furniture seemed old, but not dingy. The TV has rather pocket format and displays no streifenfreies picture.     In the house there are two restaurants, whereas we only one use. The quality of the dishes was outstanding-we have rarely eaten so well. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, from 09:00 rather for cheap. The Afternoon tea offers hearty and sweet ' for in between' this evening 4a 6-course menu leaves qualitatively and quantitatively nothing to be desired, although 6 courses for us not to create were. The dishes were fresh, well coordinated, amazing in terms of taste -just perfect.

    In Schönau at the brend is the free time almost nothing at all. Also entertainment possibilities we could not discover. The hotel is surrounded from forest, to a longer walk invites. All together is the location of the hotel for a extended wellness pamper weekend, less as a starting point for excursions without a car. The breakfast was served from 09:00 to twelve: 00 are best suited for those that want to sleep and everyone could find something. The wellness area with various saunas and a small pool we love used.
