We were 5 years ago already once there and could only positive thing about this hostel say, but this time we were completely disappointed despite luxury rooms. But it was not even a small closet or dresser for our clothes available. Even hooks were nowhere to be found also in the bathroom not. The hostel is just great. It was clean and functional. A very late check in was absolutely no problem. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful. We stayed in a triple -room stayed overnight and were very satisfied with the cleanliness and the size of the room. The delivered before reviews are simply completely flat. It is not a hotel, but a hostel. Everything was great and we will be a repeated berlin trip definitely again in this hostel again. read more

Who wants only a place to spend the night in Berlin needs can here in a clean relatively large room ( without decoration and Stahlbetten ) night. There breakfast was also good, although not immediately to all users the tables were cleaned. The jugendherbergsflair found my wife and I not so great, the children had but no Anschlussprobleme. read more

Good: many rooms, many different nationalities from everywhere.
When we started stay to start, that we a double room with bath had. Prior to there was even a telephone call in which I confirmed, that under a double room of course also a double bed understood!
On arrival in the room then the first disappointment: 2 apart standing beds, as well as a not geputzes room. So we from the 4th floor again with our luggage to the front desk. There us then I said, that we the beds ja assemble may and vorerste one night in another room can ... then on the next day again move to get back to the, then hopefully cleaned room, again to refer. After long consider right the hotel to change, we have however agreed. ( since there is no fairness was what the price concerned and a cancellation fee of one and a half nights could pay.)
The man at the reception had then a room in the 4th floor and said, that this is also a double room ( with double bed) acts. ( reminder: it is then just for one night free.)
After the whole luggage again above had and the room opened the next disappointment: A triple room with a bunk bed and a single bed without bathroom.
Again to the front desk.
Then he gave us a key for a room on the 5th floor. There the elevator at the front desk also, but unfortunately the hallway then to the roof and not in the neighboring building to our rooms to arrive. Therefore we had to then one floor down, then by the complete building then again a floor with the stairs hochzugehen around in our room to arrive.
Here however the same picture: 2 singles pushed together beds with frames and no double bed. So we had to us but make friends.
Ultimately we are then in this room for our 5 nights, because we absolutely do not want to again umzeiehn had. After mr at the front desk stated, that our 1. Room and the present the same category and he just the room transfer should then also worked well.
Other events: our room map went altogether 3 times, so that one always to the front desk had to run a new to get. On demand, whether the often happens, the answer ' yes, already from time to time'
Breakfast: there was freshly squeezed orange juice. From the packing. Rolls only one choice, as well as 2 types of sausage, 1 sort of cheese and a little jams, egg and mini-meatballs from the packing.

Bathroom are way too small, dirty and poorly ventilated.
Rooms are spacious but have virtually no institution.

From ostbahnhof train station, just approximately 10 minutes out and easy to find. Pleasant staff and sufficient for a short excursion.
However, there is no games room, as it was described. Billiards is still under construction. There was only internet and board games.

We were 6 in a six-bed rooms and for 15 €per person/night. The value for money it cannot be topped. The beds (and much more are in the room not ) were very clean, in addition came still another table with three chairs and a closet. Bath/shower had we on the corridor, but it is not recommendable, but there is also rooms with private sanitary facilities.
The atmosphere is great, staff really friendly, the small lobby with a bistro which is exactly like the front desk 24 hours with a friendly and helpful staff manned. The coffee and the snacks ... were delicious! Only point of criticism is the internet cafe, the pcs are still underway with windows 2000, and most of the websites are therefore not really use. Is free wi-fi access, with its own smartphone or laptop you can get free with reasonable speed surfing. read more

We spent three days at Pegasus hostel Berlin. Our three-bed room (with shower/toilet) was in the new building with elevator.
Positive: the room, the shower/toilet and common areas were very clean. Price/performance ratio was very positive. The hostel is located near the East Station, about seven minutes walk and two S-Bahn stations from Alexander Platz, so location was okay. Staff was friendly and efficient (checked in about three minutes and check out took 30 seconds! About)
Negative: breakfast buffet for 5.90 euros was expensive and not good enough. Although internet and Wi-Fi Internet access was free, worked two of ... five computers in internet cafe two days not at all!
All in all, we can recommend the Pegasus hostel Berlin further. read more

I am very well aware that the Pegasus hostel hostel and not a hotel. Therefore my standards for this place were not too high. Cleanliness but should go without saying! I could live with it, that the rooms were very basic, the "cupboards" just 20 cm wide and only a 1,20cm had. I could live with it, that also finally on the Achtbettzimmer that we stayed in, no mirror was available, but that doesn't detract from very problematic, as the so-called plumbing because of size and the fact that we could this with even a lot other, foreign people ... had to share the there, it just didn't allow to use-mounted mirror. It is also didn't stay longer bearable than was absolutely necessary, what I explain the course. The stairwell ( I can only judge from ground floor up to the 4th floor) and the corridor of the fourth floor were, during our stay, but also dirty, meaning I could live. I am very well aware that everyone has its contribution to this must, nothing dirty respectively to make the "dirt" itself also caused eliminate immediately. What was unacceptable and really disgusting, were the deplorable conditions of the sanitary facilities. A room about 2 x2m small, with shower, toilet, and a mirror above the bathroom sink and the other a room about 2 x5m small, with 3 showers, a toilet and also a mirror above the bathroom sink. As mentioned above we had to these sanitation share with many other people. The sanitary installations were the entire 5 days of our stay in an unreasonable, dirty, absolutely unhygienic condition. It smelled of drains in the hallway, which is in fact before we arrived blocked with hairs were. The hostel is rather something for backpackers. But they were all so-called comfort room already booked, so we had to ( my daughter 12 and I) in the old part of the hostels in a very basic room with sink and toilet/shower in the hallway. Since it's a hostel is one stomach almost, but totally annoying is the nightly volume. The hostel is not very nice and if the neighbor bothersome during the water (2.15 hours) you think a tidal wave is rolling through the room. Between 6 and 7 hours vacuum and make sure everyone knows the cleaning ... staff in the hallway-just inconsiderate. Very good was the front desk-friendly and competent. The food in the Bulgur restaurant was delicious. After the first morning we tee-time in the Ostbahnhof an Italian; plenty of fresh varied and cheaper than on site. read more
