The hotel is really very good,5 stars are entitled, you must always just know where you are and not the usual european standard demand.
The check-in was without any problem, then you get a good refreshment than welcome drink. Condition and cleanliness is ok great. All nationalities were represented.
Wireless internet was there. read more

With arrival we were surprised about the hotel. For a time we had something worse expected. The first impression continued then in the room fort. This was clean. The beds were clean. Air conditioning and safe were available, whereas the air conditioning was a bit noisy. The bathroom was also clean. Large shower. Free water stood in the room ready. Because of the location of the room (top floor) we had with a quiet night expected. The was then unfortunately no that, why to sleep was not to be thought. In the town found at this time a festival going ... on at city center instead. This is a beautiful thing, if you don't want to sleep. We have, since the round trip on the next day very early continue should. From half eleven played a rock band with unbearable loud bass. At half 2 us at the front desk told, that until two hours playing and you afterwards then call the police would. Around twenty after two was then peace. After the night very short, made up the breakfast buffet a bit. In short: hotel ok, but never in event book. read more

I was because of a round trip only one night in this hotel, but the following i can sageb
The hotel is located in immediate proximity (2 blocks) to the main square and the town hall. In the area, you can very good evenings what food & drink. There are many souvenir shops and a few streets away is a large shopping street.
Room:
Little old fashioned decor, no balcony, tv, safe, 2 queen size beds, air conditioning, alarm clock, radio.
It was evenings very loud, as the music from the road resteraunts high echos. You have on room a ... small bottle of water free of charge. There is a 1 liter bottle of water, the 22 pesos costs. Before you leave is still time extra controlled, whether these bottle of drink.
Bathroom:
Very small, with a shower, hair dryer is also available.
Lobby:
Very comfortable and one can the evening good drink. There also a waiter served, but all drinks pay.
Breakfast:
Large dining room, in the almost table at table. There is a chef fresh omelets prepared, according to your wishes. Breakfast is very greasy. There were in the morning already meat and casserole to eat. There was no cold cuts. Fresh fruits was plentiful but otherwise but very meager breakfast. The waiters were very friendly. read more

As a part of the classic Mexico trip we were in this hotel for one night accommodated. It was the first hotel on the trip and is a high-rise hotel, which one already from a distance see. Our room was quite spacious with a large wardrobe and also a safe. The beds were huge and very comfortable. The room had two sinks, one in the living area with a small mirror and one in the bathroom. The bathroom was not very big, but had a spacious shower with a sliding glass door, which so wide as the whole bathroom. The ... windows in the room did not open, which for security reasons because of the height of the building is required. The air conditioning worked very good. If you turn left at the main entrance out and always straight ahead you after a short time to the zocalo. Here there are also some shops and restaurants and you can also good outside eat out (don't forget your mosquito protection).
The breakfast in the morning the buffet-style, but there are more warm food, which
On the mexican cuisine tailored. You could but also an omelet prepared. Merida is a beautiful colonial and we were thrilled by the cleanliness. read more

We stayed one night as a part of the Miniyucatanrundreise in the hotel. In the bathroom there was a small cosmetic products, but no shower gel! On arrival evenings in the dark very pleasant, as the next morning the sun rauskam, one has seen, like dusty it in the room was, pillow cases dirty. Breakfast buffet ok, however in the breakfast room no beautiful atmosphere. Longer than 1a 2 nights we would not want to stay, apart from that you could one night relatively quiet sleep, had a nice view on the Katrhedrale, and was on foot quick in the ... center of Merida. read more

We have as a part of a Yucatan-round trip for one night in the Falmhotel stayed.
Check in and check out ran smoothly and quickly. We had a room on the 6th floor and from there one has a great view about Merida. Especially in the evening if very beautifully lit everything is.
The room was sufficient large, had two large beds, a table with two chairs, flat screen, safe, water and a coffee machine.
The bathroom had a shower with glass partitions and enough towels and gear were also available. Room as bathroom were in good condition and clean. ...
The hotel lies in the town center and there are the various places, cathedral, Maya-market and countless bars and restaurant easy to reach on foot.
For a visit in Merida, which is absolutely worth it, is the Falmhotel definitely recommendable. read more

We stayed during our round trip for one night in this hotel slept. Our room was I the tenth floor. From there we had a great view of Merida. Especially at night it was with the whole lighting very nice.
Size of the room was more than adequate. Two large beds, safe, tv. Everything was very clean. Dinner and breakfast stayed in buffet-Form. Food was OK but nothing special. However this was during our round trip still the best food.
For one night was this hotel thus sufficiently! read more

Hello,
we were during a round trip 1 night in this hotel accommodated. Beautiful room, only the food leaves much to be desired! Dinner consisted of a spar-menu * lach *. The buffet was with about 3 salads (without dressing), spaghetti, something meat and rice equipped. Err we were all easily irritated, since the choice so little was. And the taste I want to not at all talk. The dessert was delicious ☺
cutlery (Spoon) at the table dirty. So what should not happen.

This was one of the hotels on our round trip 'Yucatan Highlights'.
The hotel Castellano is located in the middle in the town Merida and consists of 10 floors. The entrance area is very nicely furnished and the check in was easy and fast. The rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom functional. We had breakfast and dinner. The buffet was all right, it there was something for everyone. In the evening you could in the town somewhat undertake. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, there was in the evening some live music/ Concert close to the hotel, which us until ... at 2 o'clock morning wachhielt. We would have probably nothing constituted us, if we do not already again at 06:30 o'clock get up would have to.
In short: nice hotel in the heart of Merida. read more

The hotel is excellent in the middle of town, great view over the town, everything you need nearby, no long ways, from the luggage up to the room for a hotel, where the guests only 1-2 nights are ok!
You don't need more and service very good.
The city is great, one lives here Mexico, yes it is worthwhile, i would advise everyone a carriage ride to make in the evening, great streets, well lit, one sees much and it is very romantic.
Music. The life in the evening, excellent!
Another tip, history of yucatan, in images you can really ... great in the Rathaus see, you can history there and you will understand much more.
The churches have what, the markets well and in the evening the city is the city of the nicer side. read more

We were in a mini-Yucatan-round trip for a night in this hotel! And for this purpose was it okay.
The hotel is located very close to the center, so that you are in a few minutes can reach everything well.
The hotel is a high-rise with two lifts to the room to reach. We were on the fifth floor. Room were big enough but unfortunately no balcony. You have again for the trend down and out door to you.
In the room it was two king Size beds, flat-screen TV and DVD player. Free safe and air conditioning were there. ... A coffee maker is also available, but you had to pay extra for coffee and powder.
Large drawback was the bathroom! The hair from the previous guest were ubiquitous. It would not have been so late I leave after-deseam, but such a towel had to believe and I made it itself. Fixtures absolutely cheap and the mold also already said good night!
Breakfast next morning was OK, the waiter made a genervten impression but unfortunately absolutely. And the 1 pieces of butter on the plate ration I found stupid. Jam gave it in strawberry taste ration on the plates too. Other than that, but everything was available. Eggs, fruit, etc. what you expected!
Conclusion: for a couple of nights this hotel in Merida precisely because you can really do what. But otherwise I would choose a different hotel! read more

This hotel many organizers in tours or like me with the 2 day trip Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Izamal used, the location of the hotel could in Merida hardly be better, directly at the Plaza principal, where many sights are, like for instance the cathedral, the theater, the government palace and many other more
