The hotel is no longer new but everything is done. The rooms are very USA annoying, but is rather positive. Very extensive everything, but great for morning or nice evening walks. To my time there were many canadians and french. After graduating after number of americans, italians, latinos and at the end russians and germans. English should you already speak or understand! Wifi is very expensive, you should get a tel cel pre paid card somewhere in Playa or CENTRO Maya buy. Thus one is always cheaper for everyone! read more

    Room in USA style. Large comfortable beds. King or queen size. Flat screen tv, mini bar which was always filled and is free of charge! The does not exist more everywhere, as i sorrowfully in Egypt to see. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Furniture ok.

    Great! Amazing selection of everything. There is each evening in the buffet a theme night. Whoever found nothing here or something to complain about, couldn't be helped. Book here one middle class and get mittelklassen food from the buffet! But that is a thousand times better than for example in the top class in Egypt! There was pasta to cook, pizza, burger to build, chopped meat, small steaks, Gulasch, salad bar (s), partly baking ham! , cockerel-mirror-image-eats and so on. In the theme restaurants, depending upon organizer includes, there are filetsteaks pder lobster! Really brilliant. Cocktails all for free so much you can drink! Everything was all-inclusive. Except for a tip not a penny spent. Good whom after first-class wine is, that must already into their pockets.

    You couldn't expect that you here in german welcome. Who english cannot, should not that much expect. If you however controlled, that error gladly forgiven and every member is hard to be understood. Room cleaning good. I never heard a thing and that is already actually a compliment. Staff always always friendly and tried hard! If you stay here so a job in the hotel get, the is in comparison to many other mexicans very good. Set the on the game. So give from time to time times one Dollar tip and you will you love. Do french in other words reluctantly!

    The pool is large, am but because of the beach there. Therefore hard to rate. What i saw, tons amis at the pool bar in the water! The beach! Stunning! Impressive! Therefore drives you here! Bathing shoes advisable, since from and stones in the water and korallenreste washed up,, the sharp. Beach chairs are available. There are always idiot at 5 o'clock get up and the places secure. Funny it is when a at 5:30 o'clock all towels on a bunch of flings. Hahaha i was not! You can still the right at the rear of the beach. There is always! What free and one has your peace, if times the entertainment a bit louder. Ubrigends entertainment. Since i have terrible things here is. So except for a time was the entertainment always at the main pool. And limited pretty between 15,30-16,30. Nothing else. If nevertheless mind take ear plugs with.

    To the beach it is depending on where you is housed closer, 200 meters or further 800 metres. From the airport in Cancun it is a good 2 hours, this can further if you lots of guests to their hotels must bring. In the hotel there is a market with stalls and stores. A disco, doctor, pharmacy, wine store, actually everything. For this but also more expensive as in Playa. Who wanted to go there, just outside the main entrance at the complex the arm and a collectivo. Is cheap and you can directly in the city of Playa to (5). Huge area with 5 hotels, parks and several pools on a private bay. All in all, a extremely tidy complex, all areas of the hotel. very clean. The guests come mainly from the USA and Canada. read more

    The rooms are great. Large, light, clean and beautiful. The bed was large and comfortable, the pillows we found terrible, but it thinks everyone else. Large tv with many channels, however only the dw is german-language. Minibar was always re-filled and has the basics. The air conditioning is very quiet and worked well. The bathroom is large and modern.

    I had rarely seen such bad experience. There is lots of restaurants, the diversity, the quality, the taste and the temperature of the dishes true but unfortunately in any. There is always the same, variety isn't available. Even if the motto times another is, the food is it is not. If you sometimes hot gets, you are lucky. The ambiance in the restaurants is carelessly, basically you felt like in a cafeteria. Only exceptions are the à la carte restaurant, in which the food very good and the service and the atmosphere not with the buffet restaurants are comparable. However as a guest the beach and the caribe hotel only free access to three of the seven à la carte restaurant. The cocktails at the bars are more inedible.

    The staff is very friendly and helpful. The complex is very clean held, also the rooms are always very neat and the phone are all services quickly and easy to reach. English almost all, from time to time also german.

    The pool areas are spacious and well maintained. Chairs are enough available, although these terrible uncomfortable. The entertainment is very for children and makes sleep in pool proximity impossible. Sport possibilities were numerously available, balls, rackets, etc. At each pool. A diving is available, but to impossible prices! A very good, german and significantly cheaper diving there in Playa del Carmen.

    Transfer from the airport Cancun takes about 50 minutes. Close proximity to city Playa del Carmen is very pleasant. With the 'collectivo', a shared taxi, the always on the its and there are, it is in 20 minutes and for little money to Playa. The Maya beach is a part of a large complex with several hotels. The paths can be very far. We lived in the house Tulum in 2. floor and had a large room with king-size bed. Also a safe is in the room. The wardrobe is big and also had enough hooks, but there were only 2 in the things, which one would like to lay. On tv there is Deutsche Welle. It was enough on vacation, we looked actually only always the weather. read more

    There is several restaurants where one everywhere can go. The quality and quantity of the dishes and drinks was more than enough. It is really nothing at all. You can 24 hours food and drink, when you want that. Somewhere there is always something. The food empty plates were immediately cleared and always politely asked, whether everything ok is. The quality and variety of food was alright and it was every day another motto for example caribbean night, or mexican cuisine. There was surely something matching for everyone. For a small tip box the employees, they are but also without tip friendly.

    Just top. One was in the restaurant, in every bar and on the whole area greeted friendly and courteously. It doesn't get any better. We had a little complaint, it was quickly and promptly.

    The entertainment by the pool was in the 2. week in the afternoon extremely noisy. Since however sufficient capacity is available, comfort elsewhere. Beach chairs are abundant, you don't need to reserve. They are also in good condition. Umbrellas you need through trees not, since natural shade is available. Shower are there, but no changing. You have to the toilet and since it is sometimes not so pleasant.

    The hotel is directly at the beach. You can the whole Barcelo hotels with the trolley or bus to explore. Shopping in the hotel or at the Plaza mexicana enough. We are with the taxi (235,- Peso) to Playa del Carmen went. You can but also with the bus much cheaper drive, must have the public road. We wanted it to be rather easy. Our friends booked an excursion to coba and Tulum (really a must) and then isla contoy and Isla Mujeres made, whereby you not at all loved. Tulum and coba but very good.

The hotel is wonderful in a jungle embedded and it creep but some iguanas on the complex around. Around the restaurant is a pool with fountains, very beautiful. There are regularly collectivo at the hotel with the one wonderful to Playa del Carmen, Tulum drive can, which we did. We were also in chichen itza and xcaret, have everything in Playa del Carmen booked, is much cheaper than in the hotel or the tour operator. The beach is the best part of the whole section, the Barcelo premium del luxe (last Barcelo hotel) has not any beach. Which as only ... didn't like was the entertainment. It was so loud, not to be borne. We are regularly in the neighboring hotel caribe location. The evening shows were really great, but also loud and overmodulated. Nevertheless, we would go back, 2 weeks definitely too few in order to see everything. read more

Our by far best beach hotel in relation to the location and the culinary offer. Beautiful large room with a view of the jungle-like, colorful flowering garden area. 100 meters the kilometer long dream beach, where in spite of the massive complex (5 hotels) always lots of space even under shade-giving Palms was. Great snorkel area with giant turtles, rays, tropical fish And corals of all kinds and colors directly on the edge of the beach. My best ever (also qualitatively ) food variety in a vacation. Choice of buffet-style restaurant and very good specialty restaurant ( Steakhouse, Seafood, Mexican ..., Spanish). From Filetstaks to lobster, lots of fruit and massive buffet for every more than enough offered. Great tour opportunities for instance to Tulum with the collectivo for 2 €, coba with a small rental car from the hotel ( circa 30 Euro per day, Petrol 0.59 Euro!), to the great Cenote, the Naturschutzgebiet Sian Ka' at and much more read more

The hotel is one of the few the totally many and beautiful Palm trees at the beach has. This was for me a very crucial point, because when Karibik then please with palm trees.-) also was with us always enough loungers available, without you reserve had to! The staff were always very friendly, waiter totally on the ball (very fast with clearing the tables and also the drinks refill ). The entertainers were never intrusive, have a rare directly-> another plus point. The rooms were clean and large enough. Complex is huge, but it wasn't so crowded. The weather ... in the November was simply brilliant! We had almost always only cloudless sky. And if it in the meantime was cloudy, it was quickly warped. Tip: we had a 5-day Yucatan-round trip made, with a visit of the Mayastädten Tulum, EK balam, Chichen Itza, and Uxmal. We also have the Kolonialstädte Merida and Valladolid inspected. A Cenoteund a cave we also visited, as well as a boat tour in the mangroves on the Gulf of Mexico with a visit of the flamingos. In these 5 days we so many experienced and seen, that you can only recommend to everyone! Mexico ( Yucatan) is way too beautiful around only beach vacation to make! read more

We were in our 14-day stay at the Caribe is located in a beautiful renovated room on the second floor. the cleanliness in the rooms, as well as in the whole hotel was exemplary, and it will the whole day cleaned. the garden is partially ' dschungelartig ' laid out, it is between them in it but also anytime again Lawns with flowers and bushes and beautiful Palm Trees. The animals felt in the jungle visibly and all evening birds is super nice. in our day were too many Canadians in the hotel, then the Italians were strong and the ... Americans. German tourist were but also guest in this beautiful hotel. read more

    the rooms are only about 2 years renovated and are in very good condition. safe, telephone, mini bar, flat screen, coffee machine and so on everything available and worked well. We had a completely normal Double room, which more than adequate was in terms of size.

    the breakfast was always very extensive and delicious, even if sometimes the fried egg roast a little komplziert was. The fresh juice, the many fruits-simply delicious. The lunch we have the first days in the Beachrestaurants taken, but town center actually every day to 95% the same Food. We are from the fourth Day in buffet restaurant went to lunch, it was varied and of good quality. the dinner found for us too many in the buffet restaurant and there is plenty of choice and themed evenings. In the à-la-carte restaurant we have Mexican, spanish and steakhouse try it. The steakhouse we found not at all good, meat was totally tough and 5 possible Stars I would most 2. 5 stars. The Mexican restaurant was good and a welcome variety to the buffet restaurant, there are 4 of 5 stars. The best part was the Spanish restaurant, tasted great, great for the eye and absolutely recommendable nonetheless, 5 of 5 stars for that!

    the friendliness the gesamtens staff at beach/Caribe deserves an explicit compliment. Completely special thanks at Jorge, which literally every desire from the lips had. With German one comes however not quite far, at least the English language you should reasonably mighty. the cleaning of the rooms was good and neat, I had but a nice decorated bed with towel figures or petals pleased, this has at least with our room not taken place. One day our cleaning of the rooms forget, was then after complaint but taken care of immediately.

    the beach is as I have already mentioned lonely sharpened and you will find at any time of the day enough free Beach chairs and places in the shade under the beautiful Palm Trees. The employees see even at the beach the whole day for cleanliness. the pools we didn't use it, that's why no statement in addition. the entertainment is predominant at the pools instead, there is but also Football and volleyball at the beach and also from and to time games like for instance Horseshoes or Olympics. the entertainers have a little more originality and individuality Show, every other day a quiz with almost the same questions is a bit monotonous in the long run. Evening there was then either a beautiful Show or something to laugh about, like for instance Karaoke or the perfect couple. We liked the most the show Fantasia/fantasy-this show definitely image, is really sharpened.

Nice Hotel great location highly recommended but a bit far away from the city center to about 20-30 minutes Playa del Carmen to Cancun and a little more than an hour's drive by car leisure possibilities in the area are depending on your taste sufficiently available direct beach location a wide range of cocktails and other drinks food was OK could have been a bit warmer but not more negative with alltours and Dutch airline departure was all but pleasant read more

Detailed description-see previous speakers. two things . 1 by the constant wind it was bareable, but in the summer in the air-conditioned buffet restaurants food is not entirely clear to me. 2. Excursions you should be even with the collector. tivo makes first much fun we learn really Mexican and second, it is much cheaper than the Org. Desk with which they have as a tourist-herd. example coba-Tulum costs $13 €79 organized ourselves. Visit conzumel and circumnavigate the island with the scooter. it expects you to one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. read more

We have the hotel shortly after Christmas 2010 in the aftermath of a Yucatan-round trip visited. Which one finds: a massive property set on a beautiful beach, in the very large number( especially Canadians) also when fully booked fairly well distributed and it is very lively and sometimes a bit louder can. A plant, as the usually more peace searching tourist nevertheless again at any time visit-for a relaxing beach and pool vacation the resort is perfect -as clearly its great strength. read more

    We were in the Maya beach, building Coba. The rooms are relatively large, modern and fully furnished and in good condition. The first room on the ground floor smelled a bit musty, we could on request but after 2 days in a other in the upper floors move. Both rooms I did as badly soundproofed, which especially the room doors faced (noise from the hallway area).

    Concerning the. Gastronomy strengths and weaknesses. the dinner in the specialty restaurants was mostly very attractive and well, the atmosphere very nice; for example in the palapas in section of the beach as' captain Morgan '. The actual buffet restaurant in the Maya beach was less good too loud, to hectic, the food rather lukewarm as hot. very nice was also the possibility, during the day three steps from the beach in the palapas the buffet to use( all inclusive).

    Great was the massive pool landscape, the almost seamlessly merged into the beach. Despite the hotel being fully booked the resort with Christmas always enough chairs and hammocks available. Sometimes a little noisy through animation, but since there was always the possibility in a other area to forgiven. In the middle the Bay rental from water sports equipment (inclusive, of course, time restrictions per Pawnshop), for example sailing ( catamaran) and kayaking at have fun made. Also a diving center; we have a snorkeling excursion by boat to akumal joined in. There are especially many turtles to find, the one underwater watch. Worth it! the events in the evening in the various theaters of the area were less our taste.

    On a wonderful, extensive Bay with a beautiful beach. Not far from Playa del Carmen( for example by bus or taxi easy to reach). Also the airport Cancun is not unpleasant far away, transfer time as a part of. A Yucatan-round trip we would in any case highly recommend! Tulum, zone of Chichen-Itza, Uxmal are very impressive and Mérida and Valladolid were very interesting.

Beautiful hotel, we stayed in " coba " building, the room was very large with all the amenities (mini bar, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, tv, safe, telephone, bathrobe, slippers, coffee machine). We found the food very, very good, there was a huge selection of different foods. three times a week you can also use the restaurant, which was delicious. The beach was just a dream with enough beach chairs and shady palms. In short, the hotel is only recommend! read more

Who this hotel didn't bay is your own fault! The complex is huge and beautiful, that one not at all more home would! The caipirinha's taste especially good:-) Had a room with garden terrace, there we could small tierchen feed, they came every day past. Rented for one day a car and explored the countryside, the journey to Cancun took about an hour and a half, after Tulum about 1 hour. Absolutely recommendable nonetheless! The beach is a force! There are couches enough, even if you only to lunch from the bed should be-) We will come back ... without fail! read more

The Maya beach it was-as already often described, one of five hotels of the Maya beach resort. The area is very well maintained, you see the whole day the gardeners and cleaning staff, the keep everything in good condition. The rooms (we had a standard room with a view of the garden) are big enough-mini bar and safe are included. Change of linen and Barauffüllung worked without any problems. With the service we were almost without exception very satisfied, most of them were very friendly and helpful (also without tips). Are you tip, they are formally went. With English one ... comes everywhere-some waiters tried, a few words in German and then presented us proud. The buffet restaurant reminds me a little of a cafeteria-in addition the unspeakable dishes in a car, in which bin for the leftovers are. We have never experienced. The food was very varied and tasty. The reviews about the bad cooked meat I have said-both in the buffet not restaurant and in the specialty restaurants were the steaks and fillet cooked to perfection (but that's a matter of taste). Every evening there was a theme buffet (weekly change)-Mexican cuisine you could get. We were both with the Spanish and Mexican restaurant very satisfied. The breakfast selection is perfect-for every taste something there. The beach, the cleaned every morning is, is a dream: white sand, palm trees and crystal clear water. We have lots of fish except turtles, rays and large hermit crabs seen. Furthermore, we in the birth of baby turtle be-an experience! Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely noisy-You hear almost every noise from the neighbors. We stayed in coba-building (in my opinion, this is the best located building). I think it is important to note, that some rooms do not have smoking rooms and there were no ashtrays were. To Playa del Carmen one comes without problems with the collective: just in front of the hotel on the street and wait, until one continues. In Playa del Carmen, up to the last stop drive, you can also enter again for the return trip. Simple travel costs 20 pesos the. " " The famous Quinta Avenida worth seeing, you can wonderful shopping, stroll, what drink/food etc. The jewelry shops to be careful: we must develop a silver bracelet first 90 US-dollar figures and three days later, in the same business with another salesperson cost the same bracelet only 65 dollars.
