We were 5 days in the muschelgrund and we liked it. Our room was beautiful and comfortable furnished and had a pleasant size. A safe free available, free car park directly in front of the house ( with a remote control for the closet) and a beautiful, large bathroom. We had a comfort room with loggia and thus we could even (a little ) the sea see ( the hotel lies in 2. Row). Unfortunately you will have a look apart from that on a really big campsite. But it was very quiet and therefore not annoying.
The breakfast room ... was quite small and also the offer could have been a little better. But it was nevertheless absolutely okay.
We didn't use the sauna ( seemed quite small, but clean), and they can therefore not rate. All together it was a pleasant stay.
In sahlenburg there is a few a few (but nice) restaurants and even sky -sports bar ( smokers), the evenings well visited. Otherwise there was a small fischbude with very delicious, fresh fish:-); 2-3 small souvenir stores and a café (the cakes was the best). Apart from that we rather in duhnen respectively Cuxhaven anyway.
To duhnen is approximately 40 to 50 minutes; until Cuxhaven good 2 hours.
Because it on one day strongly rained, we are Cuxhaven back by bus after sahlenburg (over döse and duhnen) risks. The worked great, was cheap and the bus held nearly before the muschelgrund.
We can definitely recommend this hotel. read more

In this house is almost everything! That there is no elevator is, is however less nice. We have also an airco miss anything. Our room on the 2nd floor was the sun very strongly heated. Trick brought due to the outside temperature no redemption and was because of the neighboring campsite also not recommendable. As rooms belonging aufgezählte pack ear plugs, which was missing, but we could have gotten, had us in the room already thoughtfully made. Of the three Fensterflügeln was unfortunately only a there were bednets in mistake. The fresh air of the room at certain times difficult ..., because directly in front of the window a stagnant waters, which is actually nice appears, but also of mosquitoes not despised is. With closet provided on-site parking space is practically absolute guarantee for a parking space. read more

A very nice, modern and informally run hotel. No comparison the Bunkers from the 70 ERN in the nearby environment. Rich breakfast, very clean and the beach is not far! read more

We were 2 families each with a small child and were cordially - even if our kids for breakfast sometimes were a bit noisy :-)
.
The rooms have the perfect size-also for our a lot luggage.
Cleaning the room was perfect - everything always very clean!
For breakfast you didn't miss anything and everything was always enough there!
Should us once again in the North strand, we will in any case welcome to use the muschelgrund's stay! read more

We have a short trip to the North sea and were 1 night in this hotel and we felt very much at ease. We had a relatively large room with a balcony and view of the sea. The room was very clean and tidy. On bed you could even the headboard adjust, which was not in some five star hotels. T the hotel exudes an informal atmosphere, that you somehow comfortable right away. In the morning we were very surprised on the breakfast, because we were told, that we still around ten o'clock only down may come for breakfast ( ... Frühstückszeitende ) and behold, it was still refilled, the boss was really hard in order to us and really had everything your heart desires and everything completely fresh and delicious. A better start to the day you can't have. We can only recommend the hotel read more

Nice, comfortable room, personal care. Small car park available for hotel guests. The hotel is well run. Quality of the food was good, buffet varied. Only annoying in the breakfast room, in our breakfast a child so loud noise, that you have your own word could hardly understand. I think that a kid's corner in the breakfast room has lost nothing, since peace and quiet in the morning the need of the guests is most severe. We are upset with the reception, this place elsewhere.
In our view, one of the nicest hotels in sahlenburg. read more

We are a young couple and were absolutely thrilled with this hotel. Already at arrival we were welcomed by the owners friendly. When we entered the room were exceeded our expectations. We booked a standard double room. The room was very large, nicely decorated and had a large bathroom. By the window one could allow a view of the sea. Much has been said on questions and friendly. Particularly we liked the rich and delicious breakfast. We're already considering, this hotel again to visit. read more

We stayed in the afternoon around 14 hours the hotel on the same day. We really wanted to sleep somewhere (on ship neuwerk"), which unfortunately didn't work (Hotel on ship "neuwerk" our luggage has not on the island, very annoying). The transaction was very friendly and wasn't't a problem. When we checked in the evening at 20 o'clock we have a friendly receptionist found with the mosquitos and a bit of a great tip for food (VAT) get. The room was large as was the bathroom. We do not know if it is an on-site restaurant, however there is a ... lounge. The breakfast the next morning was standard (scrambled eggs, cereal, meats etc.) with (!) was very delicious fresh rolls. The staff were always (hoteliers) friendly & helpful. We'll be back!" read more

The nicely furnished rooms, the bright bathroom, and the friendly owners and the varied breakfast, round a stay in Sahlenburg very pleasant. The hotel offers a very good service in all Aufenthaltsfragen and there was also a bicycle rental. read more

Nice hotel which has unfortunately tucked between a few old architectural sins. There is a bus nearby, but a car is highly recommended, as is the place to stay away from the large bustle. Therefore, it is however a very quiet place to stay. Shopping is only on touristic ccenter level nearby. They made the Wadden sea right in front of the door. The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated, our room was spacious and had everything you need for a holiday. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Therefore, for a restful stay highly recommended. read more

We had a large double room through the shower/toilet area of the connected site. The noise stopped in bareable borders, but could use in the high season disturbing. Then better book a double room on the second floor. The room furnishing and - the cleanliness was great. As far as we could see, there was on the first floor are non-smoking. We enjoyed a small kitchenette ( kettle, tea, coffee, cups) was missing. The view on the sea between the little magnificent through the first row is something to get used to, but better than nothing. The evening sun on ... the spacious balcony we could enjoy with lovely weather. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, the breakfast room is bright and modern and stylish and pleasant as the whole house softly decorated. The small wellness area with sauna, steam bath, solarium and whirlpool tub was big enough for a half-was opened, but with four people already crowded. There is no access to the garden to the sauna some air to grab. The offered Wi-Fi lost now and again the compound and costs ( unnecessary in times of cheap flatrates fees. Here could be improved. Bikes are available to rent at the hotel ( half day 4 €, whole day 6 € with other Staffelungen). The dike brings you in about 15 minutes in the neighboring town Duhnen, where more busy. The only real drawback: the location. Sahlenburg is located outside of Cuxhaven and you'll have to either constantly a bike at their disposal or use the car, for at least a couple of minor things in the supermarket (that's a no-go shopping within walking) or a café or restaurants. The gastronomy behind the campsites the dike is not much and fine for the fast, not sophisticated hunger. read more

Double room superior two floor about 27 meters ² with Limone and Loggia. The tray surfaces in the bath are spacious and had enough hooks to hang the things. The bathroom and the rooms are very clean. At breakfast there were four kinds of cold cuts and three fluid as four cheese and soft cheese places four. There were different fruit and Quark places as muesli and Kornflugs. Checking-in to the hotel was very good buffet. The hotel and the surroundings are very well maintained. (10 * 5 meters) the indoor pool in the partner Hotel Strandhus is about 400 ... meters away from the hotel but very nice. The hotel has its own bicycle rental and sahlenburger strand (a district of Cuxhaven) in a quiet location about 60 meters away from the beach. Both the quality and taste of the food were positively rated. One can drive with the Watt through the Watt to ship neuwerk", the meeting place for the island ship "neuwerk" walk or drive with the Wattwagen was about 40 meters away from the hotel. The hotel is actually for every taste very good, since one is in few minutes with the bike is either for the sea in duhnen (where there is always something going on) or in the other direction where you only the wernerwald and then only nature behind the Dike will take place. Verner the hotel was situated directly at the meeting point of the island Neuwerg walk or the Watt car want." read more
