The worst hotel during our round trip.
The room was actually largely, however full mold included extreme stench of mold \u263a
A message at the front desk was the late afternoon. A room changing was supposedly not possible, as booked and all already checked in. A lie as in the course of of the evenings out body, because we observed some check in's until 22 o'clock.
There was also room what were clean, i had unfortunately none of them. The cockroach seemed the stench of mold but not disturb.
The food was more than bad. I got, as the cold ... buffet 1,5 hours for restaurant opening uncovered was set up. The food tasted i didn't. Neither dinner nor breakfast.
This hotel i would not recommend to anybody. read more

If the best hotel trinidads is, I want to the other not see. The only positive thing here is the dreamlike view and close proximity to old town! The rooms are really spacious - the two opposite doors also in the closed condition for sufficient fresh air. Also beehrten the different animals. The showers, no warm water and /night there was no water! The breakfast buffet is acceptable, however offers the dining room enough spaces for the guests. The dinner buffet was very nice, but also there was too few seats. The evening entertainment program is unnecessary-since it only 15 ... minutes takes and bad rehearsed is. read more

Very generous laid out facilities ( rather negative, the long distances, the one it has). Really beautiful view over Trinidad until to the sea. Extremely loud air conditioning made sleep so that nearly impossible, then better sweat... Friendly staff, the us with a puncture fast and uncomplicated help. read more

During our round trip 'Cuba Grande' we stayed once (= once too much) in one of the BungaloWs. The room was dirty and mostly everything was broken. To top it all was because of the hurricane Isaac heavy rain in addition, the at night through the ceiling ( amongst others also in the beds) dripped, so the next morning everything underwater beach.
The hotel complex is located outside of the center on a hill location, from where you a beautiful view of the city Trinidad has. It is nice that Horses on the hotel area around freely; it could happen ..., that you have a horse on his balcony has. Disadvantage: good look at, where you his foot drops!
In Trinidad better another hotel choose. From a pool we didn't see any, therefore no review. read more

The hotel is only for group travelers recommendable, anyway not other choice. Apart from that only for people, the after the excursion into town gladly still another small mountain hike make, to to the hotel to get. The rooms are for one night acceptable, the prospect of lights of Tinidad compensated for a lot.
The kitchen in our experience positively surprised, much selection with showcooking.
Trinidad offers otherwise a on Cuba not seen density of tourist-oriented shops. read more

Stayed as part of the TUI round trip ' Cuba Grande' for an overnight stay in the hotel.
Had us prior to on the worst set, but was then nevertheless somehow
Bearable. Longer than a day I would however not want to spend!
We got a room on the ground floor a bungalows, the very dark and a bit 'musty' was.
The cleanliness for Cuban standards rather bad.
The pool and couches on the grounds have at least better Times. (anno 1990 )
The water the kiddie pool was yellow!
The breakfast and the dinner was enjoyable, however nothing more. ... ( if not the meat, fish always
Back were )
The view over Trinité and the evening show these were really only positive. read more

In the course of round trip we were for one night in this hotel. It made from the outside a really nice impression, since the rooms in small small house on a very large Arial are. Our room was very far from the reception and the restaurant away, then you have to walk too far and not very good quality. Our room had a small terrace, the but not on occasions to sit had, so we the two in the room verhandenen chairs to outside found. Dinner and breakfast were rich and good. The room was big enough. Only disturbed ... us the fact that itself in our room a trail was, the across the room at the ceiling and the walls long ran. Ants there is in Cuba however many, so you with a two star hotel not perfect Insektenfreiheit and cleanliness expect, but these were then but a little too much ants at once. For one night can the hotel but recommend. read more

Beautiful Bungalowanlage with about 115 rooms, on a hill above of the city that looks great ( the center you can reach in about 15 minutes on foot) is located.
Big room with a TV in the entrance area and mini bar.
Safe can for 2 CUC per day at the front desk be rented.
The rooms are clean and the cleaning of the rooms is good.
The bathroom exhibited certain traces of the wear on, but it was completely OK.
Pool and pool bar are available. Unfortunately, we didn't enough time both to test.
In the pool area gives ... it an exchange office, the until 18 o'clock is open.
Dinner and breakfast be served as a buffet. The selection is good and it also nearly everything tasted good. We stayed 2 days in the complex, both nights the food very similar, but not a problem was.
In the hotel there is evenings dance performances.
Definitely the sunset with a delicious drinks at the bar terrace enjoy.
You should evenings definitely into the town center go. The live music in the 'Casa de la trova' was perfect and it is worthwhile also absolutely to the exciting Rhythms on the outside stairs to listen. read more

Easy ailing bungalow-settlement. Room dirty, kisseninhalt stained, smelled bad. Around 17' 00 hours room still not ready. Meadows with pferdedung polluted. Waste behind the trees. Stray dogs. Booked all inclusive. read more

Good suitable for transit purposes, for longer stays not recommendable, as this calls for both the choice of food, as well as the amenities in the room to shop.
by the way: in Cuba, it is completely normal and it will be for the tourists were not amended, that foods at best lukewarm are served! Cuban Mentality! This is not because it is not properly cooked or already too long there is... Cubans eat simply not warm/beverage not hot! read more

The hotel Las Cuevas is located on a hill in Trinidad. From there you had a beautiful view over the city, and to the sea.
the rooms are in bungalows and big enough. At our arrival was our room around 5:00 P. M. not ready. The suitcases could we however mentioned in the room bodies.
for dinner I can't comment on that, we were in the city in the Soly son (a absolute tip, good food in a very beautiful restaurant). The breakfast there was in buffet form and was perfectly adequate.
we had solely go back problem in ... the context of our tour with flexi-drive a room reserve. By phone they told us once again, that the hotel was fully booked. When we found it right in the hotel after two double rooms have asked, was suddenly the hotel wasn't fully booked. After we said, that we had a vouchers of flexi drive, they told us that we before the rooms would have reserve.?! On request we could then spend a night stay. ('only one night').

The hotel complex is great with great view, I evenings great photos made.
That the hotel few stars and quite simply is I was already aware, it should have been but clean.
The first room was totally run-down, musty, dirty, water broken, full of dead insects.
After longer Discussions we got a new room still with dead bugs but at least with water. read more

A trip hotel with great views over Trinidad. Small bungalows create an intimate atmosphere. Very lavish renovated the main building including the restaurant. Just a stone's throw away in a few minutes many bars and restaurants to seduce. Sure, the beach is a long way off, but the hotel compensated by its views and proximity to the historical old town of Trinidad. read more

Las Cuevas the hotel is located on a hill above Trinidad and offers a fantastic view over the town, especially at night. The drive was a bit of an inconvenience, therefor you will be rewarded by absolute peace and no disturbing other transport, as around the very well-kept, spacious and extensive hotel area no roads and no parking building. To the city center you can easily walk. read more

As long as you don't several days in Trinidad and the surrounding area, you want to spend, the complex is nice. two star ein/zwei spring and if this is accepted, it is okay. One reaches the pool with many steps. Believe me, the way should save you (at a weak stomach). People are not the only thing that swims. The food in buffet form is Cuban (simple and solid) but was still certainly edible. The arrangement of the bungalows is well intentioned but too spread out and getting old. With us everything was clean. Oh well, we were also most ... tolerant and mentally prepared for it. read more

Check-in went very smooth and very quick, luggage to our bungalow, friendly service. We were very pleasantly surprised from the bungalow positive, both by the cleanliness and also with the quality of the food. We need two additional towels, the us within five minutes past were brought. For a good price we were able to wash our clothes, what served us very well. Since the bungalows were far above, it was very quiet and pleasant to on the terrace to sit. The center was well to walking distance. About. 15 minutes away. The quality of the food in the hotel ... left a lot to be desired. On the meals were very many flies and mosquitoes, what spoiled us the Apetit. read more

The location is very beautiful, fantastic view over the city and the food was also very good. We had a room to only (I think in the area g), I would have slept not, mold on the walls, a gas cylinder in the closet and there it was a bit hot and musty. After complaining we but got a decent room near the pool.

With distance the worst hotel of our trip. I certainly don't need luxury, but cleanliness should be. The was unfortunately not available. Furthermore, amenities and overall condition of the room were bad, inter alia, broken safe, only 1 hand towel per person, no towel rack in the sink, broken toilet paper holder. The latter even the minor problem was, it was not even toilet paper. On my complaint at the reception, they told me about the paper not in the room, but I had to even bring it also there. Only positive is the nice view on the city. So ..., if you are not 'forced' there is staying within the framework of the trip then better book another hotel. read more
