Hotel Riviera Barbati^{(4 stars)}

Everything was very clean. best equipped kitchen in unit (stove, coffeemaker, stove, plenty of cutlery in very good condition), beds comfortable, "living room" with couch, table, dining table and chairs. Unit has a lot of space, we didn't feel cramped and could stat longer than 1 week. TV, DVD, satellite new everything. Maisonette with 2 large balconies. Both with chairs, table and chair.

In Barbati about 7 tavernas. All highly recommended, staff tried very hard, but not intrusive. Breakfast in the hotel we didn't use.

Operator extremely courteous and tried very hard. Warm welcome. All speak English, German the "boss". The rooms are cleaned every 1-2 days, there were always fresh towels, both for the apartment as well as for the beach.

The sea is crystal clear, flat. pebble beach. On the beach to rent beach chairs and umbrella. Also here everything very well maintained

Very well kept facility, everything in 1a condition, very clean. Nice bungalows with apartments, studios, everything was being renovated. Not too cramped being built up, so privacy on the balcony. Guests all age groups, couples, families and singles.

walk to the beach through the area within 50 meters. As the small town is easy to reach. Also about 50m, there about 6-7 good tavernas, 2 shops, mini market. So absolutely sufficient for a relaxing beach holiday. To Corfu town without having to rent of the public bus, the multiple times each day.

We had a studio with terrace and gardens in the first row, the rented directly behind the pool. The studios are very small and not very cheap divided. The bed was in a small alcove right off at the front door. Left and right there was little space. It only a bedside table on one side, on the other was only a very narrow passage. In this was to our request a small stool than counter space for books, glasses etc. Provided. The living room was also very small with a but relatively well-equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, Vierplattenherd, coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave and toaster. Dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans etc. were tight, but for 3 people. Integrated in the kitchenette was a table. In addition, there was a sofa (to sleep for a small child), closet, chest of drawers, TV and two chairs. The terrace was provided with a large table, 3 chairs and a lounge chair. The bathroom was tiny. The shower stalls you could barely move. In addition to the wash basin there was a bathroom cabinet in the most important utensils able. Very small havel because the studio, we asked for alternatives or an apartment with a separate bedroom and a large balcony, as well as a Duplex apartment with two large balconies (30 euros extra per day). The quality of the furnishings is about the same, however they were much more spacious apartments and rooms also have a small desk. We finally decided to remain in studio, which, considering the summer heat than really turned out to be okay. For the most part we sat on the terrace and the private garden and the immediate beach near enjoyed. They were in a few steps you were at the water and could enjoy the shade. From the higher apartments are from the third row but a nice view of the ocean, but rather for spring and fall recommends. The facilities were good quality attractive and functional, but not luxurious as in the Attica catalog promised. But for Greek standards, and considering the location right on the beach we felt very pleased with the service. The air conditioning worked well. In addition, there is the whole area wireless internet, so that you usually without problems internet access. The cell phone reception was smooth. Lastly, each apartment a parking lot, so that the street cars overpopulated.

We had booked a studio with breakfast. The breakfast hit with at least 10 euros per person per day to book for the price and was unacceptable. There were baked dry bread rolls, after the second day we have replaced by bread, a plate with Päckchenwurst, a Scheiblette as well as a tomato slice per person, packed butter, jam and honey. In addition alternately either a hard boiled egg or omelet with bacon and on request yogurt. The buffet consisted of a few apples, slices of Marmorkuchen, a mystery NECTAR, coffee and tea. You may not even a star rating. The taverna we only visited twice for lunch. The food was decent. We found it a shame that the tavern not available for dinner and had most of our place with twice in a very attractive restaurant on the beach (Piedra del mar). The present tavernas, with the exception of one restaurants, but only a very limited Show offers easy and cheap. They have the usual Greek cuisine, d. H. Appetizers such as tzatziki, Dolmadakia U.s. wireless. Main courses from the oven and Greek (mousaka U.s. wireless. ) and from the grill (souvlaki, lamb chops, T-bone steak). You can also eat breakfast, which is probably a better recommendation than booking your accommodation with breakfast. However the climb to the main road short (about 5 minutes), but rather steep, which might not be to everyone's taste. But as the apartments with full kitchens have self catering, is well possible and is also many chosen.

Angeliki, the manager, spoke very good German. (Also welcomes guests Arriving late) personally and takes you to your apartment. She is weekdays until 3 pm distance and care for the guests. Also from the service tavern and pool bar is very friendly and you never have to wait long. Easy to get to by with German, English but is of advantage. We didn't need Additional services. Angeliki is but advice. The handling of complaints was exemplary. When we complained about the lack of bedside table, it was immediately delivered. We were also offered on request two alternative apartments. The room cleaning was more frequently than described in the catalog. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels every day and twice a week there were also fresh towels for the pool/beach. The availability of towels for the beach we found extremely convenient, it is often is yes it can take the hotel's towels at the beach not allowed.

The area is too small for an entertainment offer. The pool is an average size, but mostly from plantschenden children used and is therefore not suitable for swimming. was only open at 10 am, it is an opportunity to use this early in. But as the beach is directly beside the limpid sea (blue flag! ) Anyway the better choice. The beach is rough shingle-beach, so bathing shoes were worth seeing. This was the place for 5 Euro to buy. All kinds of water sports offered on the beach (pedal boats, motor boating, water skiing etc. ). Beach chairs and umbrellas were at the pool as well as along almost the whole beach to rent. But there are only a few spots in the shade. In the high season the pool chairs around noon about. So, you either in the late morning and then again in the late afternoon. Then they are free of charge.

At the Riviera Barbati is a medium sized apartment complex (about 60 units) directly on the beach of Barbati. In two-story buildings within the studios and apartments are partly only partly pleasure you rented out. The resort is by a pedestrian-only street developed for the traffic. They made a neat impression and is well managed. Many of the on the ground floor the units have a garden, partly with a private pool. There is a tavern and a pool bar, both at about 6 :30 pm close. Bookable is either the pure accommodation or accommodation with breakfast included in the pool bar. The guest structure was international, but during our stay the Italian dominated. There were mostly families with young children.

Barbati is about 22 km outside Corfu town on a relatively steep slope with numerous olive trees. The grounds are below the thoroughfare of Barbati located directly on a pebble beach. The pure resort features a wide selection of tavernas on the beach and the road, two small supermarkets with overpriced prices, a bakery (with newspapers and magazines), laundry facilities, and two stores for necessities (air mattresses, shorts, shirts, bathing suit). There was entertainment and nightlife on the place not, for that one would have to Corfu town. The tavernas close from 23 hours slow their doors. As Corfu is not too big, you can do all points of interest in day trips with a hired car with no problem. However it is in July and August-leeside by the location of the place at the foot of the Pantokrator so hot walks and sightseeing little fun. If you want to explore the island, that's why it with a visit to the spring or from September have better service.

Plenty of restaurants and bars in the immediate area. Rates were a little cheaper than MEU. Top quality. Tips are like. Toilets a bit dirty!

The beach towel change didn't work without every day, as well as basic cleaning every 2. Day cleaning. pool cleaning every day.

Large pool in the immediate beach nearby (surcharge). Ocean, wonderful clear, clean and refreshing. Beach bars in crowds (also for lunchtime snacks.

Had booked the Poolresidenz. about 50 square feet of living space, about 50 square meters (538 square feet)garden, as well as private pool (about 1.40 meters deep). Apartment extremely clean, no signs of wear or Abgewohntheit. Inclusive coffee maker, toaster, flat screen, satellite TV, DVD player, stove, oven, washing machine, ironing board and iron, 2 fach air conditioning system etc.

Extremely quiet in a secluded area. About 2 minutes to the beach. Walk. Supermarket in immediately. Near. With a rental car about 30 minutes. From Corfu town.

The hotel features came mostly from IKEA (? ), However was functional and comfortable. satellite TV (Astra) in our apartment without Disorders and problems. In the course of our stay but gave 3 halogenated heater, the interior lighting of the fridge and toaster "broke", which we did more amused than bother us. Otherwise everything was except for the microwave available (crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee machine, electric kettle, Möbeltresor).

We ate almost every night when Caryatides. Large selection, discounted rates, personal service and very warm welcome extended by the family who runs the restaurant.

We are a couple ( 56/50) were first in the apartment complex Riviera Barbati. The apartment consists of 2 rooms (again/cooking and sleep). Cleaning is 3x weekly, towels twice and 1x bed linen. The room service was completely in order. The rooms clean (including the bathroom). The dishtowel for the kitchen was even almost replenished daily. We booked a reservation of the breakfast bar (10 , -- EUROS per person) and self catering. Along the coast road or in Corfu town itself no problem (even Lidl available). Bread in the place the baker's super market.

The location is extremely convenient. Short walk to the (pebble) beaches and to the local tavernas on site (recommendation: Caryatides). Beginning to mid October we have already many shops and tavernas closed. We are however with the rental car, the included in the price was far around and have seen a lot. Barbati is also very central location, so we because of the positive experience love to go back.
