First of all we have to say, that the hotel his earned five stars has. We have in Dubai and especially in this hotel a luxury experience, we have not known before. Unfortunately the hotel has but also a disadvantage, the you should keep in mind, before you book: it is more or less a hotel exclusively for business trips. According to the hotel staff is the customers from 70% business and 30% pleasure. The share of business even higher before, which but also at the time the trip location. In the lobby sit from the morning until the evening ... only men in suit and tie or in the traditional twahb. The women are also in businessdress or in the super chic evening gown probably from the designer on the way. Playing children, the whole somewhat loosen: none. We arrived there with our H&M-clothes partly already a bit lost. Also we were pretty much the only, the metro use, while the other in the general, Mercedes, maybachs and so on. Joined. There one comes with the time then already somewhat stupid and i was glad, when we either in the town or in the rooms were. In the hotel there are several restaurants, which we didn't wanted to make or could. We only booked with breakfast and went in the evenings always eat out. With the latter, the price range in Dubai of priceless to unbeatable. Once we have to 2. for 9! Euro good at a pakistani food. Breakfast in the hotel food and beverage it wasn't missing anything. All of the staff speak english. English one should in Dubai already something be able to do, as you otherwise not far. A few could the employees also german. Room cleaning was perfect, partly for our standards almost exaggerated. So were daily the towels were changed, which wasn't necessary. However, the house keeping never intrusive. We had no complaints.

Pool and gym facilities we didn't use. As in all of the pools and beaches the jumeira group was always a lifeguard at the water front. Personally, i found the at least in terms of pool a bit exaggerated to ridiculous: sometimes there were only two adults in the pool and the lifeguard then with a swim watched. I had watched and felt disturbed. And my child i would despite lifeguard not alone by the pool leave... The biggest plus of the hotel counts the beach. By shuttle you will about minutes to the beach of the Jumeira Beach hotels or alternatively to the beach of the Madinat hotels brought. Especially the 2. is as in the catalog... Insanity ☺ since it concerns private beaches, have other people no or only against payment of a high eintrittspreises access...

The hotel is about 15 minutes away drive from the airport. From the planes is still nothing to be heard, as the windows in the room well insulated. This is certainly due to the fact, that it in Dubai generally very noisy happens (keyword: traffic!) And the hotel on a 12-lane highway is adjacent. This one gets bars near the hotel were totally but hardly anything and relaxing night's sleep in the super soft beds was possible without a problem. The hotel is in the middle of the center. The Dubai Mall and the burj khalifa you can reach with the taxi in 10 minuten the hotel has a own metro stop. For us it was the ideal starting point for various excursions into town.
