Our room was nice large and with two big beds equipped, a wardrobe, two armchairs and a table and a desk. Our room had in addition to a balcony. A tv, radio, alarm clock, ironing board, mini bar, fridge, kettle ( coffee and tea in stock ), hair dryer and the usual gear. A safe there were in the room not. All fixtures were reasonable, the room and the bathroom ( spacious with tub/ shower) very clean.

In the hotel there are a restaurant and a small bar in the kiva. The breakfast buffet was very good, plentiful and a wide selection. Evenings but we in the town eaten, with the wide choice.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were always super clean. It was more than a paying guest, we have in any case so.

The hotel lies a bit above the town center, am hang. Therefore, you had a dreamlike view of the lake, the mountains and the town center. We had a room with a 100. Point, best views. On foot one is within 10 minutes in the center. The shopping facilities are unlimited, shops without limits. Also restaurant and other dining options are very many on site. For the recreation there is almost no limits. In a description we read, that about 380 different possibilities returns. I count times here some on: Hiking, winter sports, walking, ship excursions with a historic damper or a yacht or a jet boat and so on; sightseeing flights in every direction; quad tours; clay pigeon shooting; tennis, Boccia, frisbee through the botanical garden ( small but very nice); farm visit; birdhouse visit; paragliding; helicopter flies; excursions the fjords and so forth!

9. Of our new Zealand-car. Stay 2 nights. We have felt ourselves very well. Highlight was the own small terrace with a view of lake wakatipu. Location is good at the edge of downtown Queenstown. The footpath from the city center the hotel was a bit difficult because of the short, but steep Slopes. In Queenstown there is many good restaurants/ bars and cafes. Lots of possibilities for excursions. Jet on the shot over river is recommendable nonetheless. read more

The rooms were big enough. In our double room had a king sized bed and a single bed. The beds are comfortable, you without back pain. In the room itself is it through the thin partition wall to the bathroom was a bit bright which works hand. From other rooms is no loud.

The hotel is on a steep road, but very central. It gives you a great view of the lake. Book one of the cottages in the upper floors.

On our journey we stayed in the heartland hotel, which because of his design in Tirol (Austria) also have stood could. We booked a standard room with a ' Kingbed ', which was from the size was sufficient, unfortunately there was a connecting door to the next room. The was closed, but unfortunately not well sealed, so we constantly heard, if the guest next door phoned (what he unfortunately often did). However, what was worse, the cigarette smoke'neighbors' in your own room had, since this under the connecting door came through. So a bit we would stay eighth and, where ... appropriate the room change. The breakfast was really very delicious and extensive. read more
