Unfortunately was the jacuzzi during our stay (3 nights) broken. Jacuzzi in the hotel is for us main criterion, but the free infrared cabin, again a bit compensated. We had a very inexpensive offer (simplest room category) and so you can really nothing complain about. The breakfast was perfect. You could bathrobes and slippers for free at the front desk borrow. For cleanliness was great importance was attached. The hotel is by the location very recommendable. Since we were there in the winter season in Bayreuth were, had unfortunately many sights closed and the selection of guided city tours was ... sparse. read more

I had this hotel selected to my girlfriend a proposal to make. Booked a double room superior. The 6-course dinner with whisky tasting.
I have to say a very nice hotel with excellent food, nice rooms, as well as in this category minibar and sky included in the price.
Would go to this hotel again check in especially also because of the really nice and competent staff.

We were thrilled by the great location - off the beaten track but center close. Breakfast was great with very much selection and always refilled. Staff is friendly and helpful. Swimming pool would have been great, jacuzzi was unfortunately only lukewarm. Sauna very hot :-) read more

As far as everything okay, for me still the best alternative under the bayreuth hotels. The building in shot held and the staff are to friendliness concerned. The rooms are a bit spartan for my taste and the bathroom was really very small, as a couple rather uncomfortable. The cleanliness was ok, however we discovered in the futile search for the in the brochure advertised fußelroller back in the closet except fußeln added a tin of chili con carne of a predecessor, probably is from housekeeping no greater than 1.70 meters. What really disgusting was the black mold on ... the silicone groove the bathtub, I am not a clean freak, but the I could at showering not quite hide, this is the downside of a successful eyes laserbehandlung. read more

We were visiting before the arrival of a little skeptical, as we have a cheap offerers booked, but are very positively surprised have been. The rooms are absolutely sufficient, have a really good standard and are very clean. To the city center it is only 5 minutes on foot.
The breakfast was perfect, there was everything you need and much more. We booked half board and each evening a 3-course menu serves with the one between two main courses could choose from. Good city hotel, the tendentious rather three stars as four-star standard is. The hotel is very clean, so also the room, however a bit dated. The bathroom works in its facilities a bit 'cheap' and it is quite small. The breakfast was okay, there were enough choice. The' wellness area' is a bit sparse. Very small fitness room, small sauna, not very inviting jacuzzi. The center is well in reach on foot, there, there are many restaurants and shops. You can park for 7 €in the hotel garage or free in the surrounding streets. For the normal price seems to ... me the hotel a bit too expensive, if you have a more favorable offer and 1a 2 nights to spend, it is okay. read more

The house is very close by the city center, on foot at best 5 minutes. Rooms are functional and modern, as well as the bathroom. The residenzschloss is to feel, that the hotel management even at a lot care and at times with large gästeandrang even helps. We were the 2. for festspielbesuch in the hotel residenzschloss. Again we were friendly, fast and well served. The shuttle bus-service the festival theater was excellent. This year the drive furthermore a pleasant refreshment dar, because the hotel unfortunately over no air conditioning has. This is however also the only minor shortcoming, but not very often every year crumb is.
Breakfast buffet and food are good and more than enough. It was nice the day with the breakfast ... in the garden to start. The rooms are big enough and are provided with also has plenty of storage space, which today not anymore definitely can be expected (may?).
We will in any case also during the next festspielbesuch again the palace for our stay choose. read more

We were to second time during the festival in the palace. The staff are very friendly and hard-working. Also is in the rush on bar and restaurant after return of Festspielbesucher the staff fast and friendly and keeps the overview. Very nice the free bus transfer to the festspielhaus, which we this year because of the heat use. Is still as nice guests a glass sparkling ... wine enough.
In this year's heat (temperatures over 30 °C) we missed however then nevertheless a little the air conditioning in the rooms and in the restaurant. There the road however at night quiet, you can also good with an open window sleep.
The room and the bathroom made a clean impression, however were on the wall behind the bathtub light approaches of mold in the joints to recognize. Also it was probably inevitable, that the bathroom doors on the inside start aufzuquellen. Here you should maybe shortly a renovation show. read more

A very nice hotel for a city break in Bayreth. The center is in about five minutes on foot to the pedestrian precinct. The staff are friendly and very willing to help. We had a very challenging in our group and appreciated so much the disabled-accessible facility of the hotel. The breakfast buffet left nothing to the imagination and the drinks in the bar were very good and not overpriced. We would gladly come again. read more
