Great hotel - hotel management incompetent whilst dealing with small complaints-pull-out sofa in the suite was not usable and could not be replaced respectively no other solution found. Apart from that is the hotel complex very recommendable! read more

A resort in the keys

Cheeca lodge is a large self-contained resort with park, swimming pools, tennis courts amongst others the bungalows and apartments i don't know. They are partly also luxurious but it is also those with little natural light (there are dense plants on the windows). We were in the relatively newly built multi-storey zentralblock right next to the sea and had since the (expensive) sea view. This kleinappartements with a kitchen are absolute luxury with a magnificent view of the sea. Baden in the sea is actually not possible. You use the swimming pools. I will never return to the keys travel. ... The hotels or installations in Florida (mainland) are just as good but much cheaper and mostly beautiful beaches. read more

We were passing through a night in this resort accommodated. Value for money was because of a reservation over the internet really reasonable. Unfortunately it was believed that the promised, us a second day at the same rate book in surprisingly after the first night not. If you look at the hotel is a great possibility with a trip in the direction Key West Energize read more

We visited the hotel because of a recommendation in the travel guide. A reservation we had not. We really wanted to 3 nights stay. In the week costs a room 299 Dollar. But beware included Sales tax/lodging tax/resort fee (39, -)! Complete 375 Dollar. Breakfast buffet off course extra 30,- Dollar. As the 3. night then on the weekend fell should the room again 100 Dollar more costs. Thus we only stayed 2 nights. These 2 nights cost us proud 900 Dollar. Included 2-3 drinks by the pool and breakfast. In general the beverages and food very expensive. Outside ... can also very good food. On the other side of the street is a very good italian. Looks a little plain but de is really good! The complete facilities looks very well kept. Our room was in the side building surrounded from a golf course (very quiet). The room looked renovated. You can park in on the ground floor. The beds are fantastic. The mattresses (simmons beautyrest ) a dream. read more

The rooms looked very new. Balcony with screens woundedness and views of the golf course. Mosquitoes was in the march not at all. Not even in the Everglades! Everything was super clean. Coffee machine and Starbucks Kaffee were available. 1 bottle of water per person/day included The beds were a dream!

We only used the breakfast buffet. There was a 30,- Dollar value! Not huge but everything you need.! Breakfast with a sea view. Coffee tastes very good - in the USA not the rule!

Since we already at 11 o'clock arrived were our rooms not finished yet. The lady told us but we can by the pool wait and it would then call. Already at 12:30 the call that the rooms for us were ready.

The entrance us plain. And we are 2 times did. In the immediate area are only a few restaurants. To the That italians on foot it is only 5 minutes. The hotel has unfortunately no real beach. To the walk in. Very much seaweed and rock between water and beach area prevent swimming in the sea. But in the keys is it with beaches and swimming in the sea generally not so easy. Only a few hotels have a correct beach. If that is the very flat and unsuitable for swimming. If you like in the sea if the in Miami Beach do. On the key he will not come again. To relax and on the sea look is the beach area but fantastic.

The Cheeca lodge and spa resort is a little away from the main road right on the beach and therefore a good Basisi for a quiet and relaxing stay. The quality of the decor is luxurious and at least in the rooms relatively good to very good. Outside of the rooms the building but according to German discretion updates or rehabilitation. In principle, there would be no particular complaints about our stay in Cheeca lodge and spa. Unfortunately, our impression was clouded by massive but some peculiarities: it is unreasonably loud! I would like here just to list the points ..., I noticed the negative: in the first room was a possible peace on the balcony because of the loud noise of the water pump Umwelzanlage the artificial lake disturbed. Room change-you can examine a technician the pump. In the second room (other wing of the hotel, door was still closed) switched we first had the air conditioning (December, the outside inside 70 °F 70 °F). After still an unmistakable buzz to hear was the refrigerator was exposed as polluters and switched off. A then continue, even if silent strong buzz came from the refrigerator of the neighbors. Off non-Existent. Then the balcony: open the window was the usual din of art water fall to be heard. And although this noise weird loud and monotonous sound could not prevent it, that the therefor pump required was to be heard. Additionally, this' artificial joined has been eclipsed ' then by the sounds of the recurring operation to the balconies and thereby Lagoune and pool patzierten refrigerating machines of the air conditioning. Since we were at this time already been decided only had a night we have to spend apart from another, probably pointless change. At long last we were after dinner in our room from the tv sound our neighbors received. This had its device not particularly noisy set. The existing door between the rooms as well as the lightweight running walls seemed, that the tv program in our unit. The aforementioned points lead us to the resort recommendable. read more
