One of the oldest hotels in the Naama Bay And one notices it. We were one week in Ghazala Beach in january 2013 for one week. Prior/arrival: To 4 hours flight time we were at 2:00 clock on Sharm El Sheikh International Airport where it then with the shuttle bus-bus to the hotel went. After the rather chaotic check in we had not the feeling welcome, as we 20 minutes after our bungalow and the staff us annoyed information given! After about 20 minutes stupid back and forth walk, we could finally our bungalow find. The room/bungalow It is very small, on the first glance also very in need of renovation, Because ... we have a huge thirst had, we looked first in the mini bar, where a stinky heat and the fridge simply only disgustingly appeared! the small bottled water were expired, so we for 2 red bull decided the very expensive at the end were! The next morning we looked the bungalow time closer to the; The bathroom; run down, broken tiles, moldy joints, shower head was simply only widerlich with mold and lime, as well as the holder! On the walls are stains where we not at all further considering wanted. On the bed were hair and the also after the room it was cleaned! Every evening a insect repellent sprayed extremely smells and into the room if, as you the windows not really worn can. The water smells sewage and the toilet stinks really! She made constant noise. The toilet paper is in comparison to Germany ridiculous, little paper and always only 2 roles per day, the 2 persons very quickly empty! The only thing we well found the air conditioning worked always and cooled also good. The hotel complex The hotel complex is actually ok. The swimming pool water is very cold where a breath away, if you wanted to cool off. The floor is the tiles and joints in a miserable state are! To the hotel also has a small side street with shops, such as the very small supermarket 'schatz' where you drinks and chips and so on buy can. You can also take Euro pay but cheap it is not. Service/ staff The really bad thing started, where we us then by diarrhea, dizziness and stomach pains only bad felt and the food then just wanted to avoid. We decided, to the german travel guide to go. We asked you, whether it would be possible the return flight to change, because we not went well and we also sick of it had! The nice tuende mrs guide treated us like small children and said we may in an emergency also 600 milligram tablets without prescription in the pharmacy buy. And we should to the other tour operator, because you don't do for us, but offered us with her husband and their food to go. We felt already quite verarscht! The president tour operator was great! ( package, i have the total amount already paid to LTUR and demanded also not after money back, nothing! ) The man laughed then formally and made us ridiculous and wanted to know that we were afraid and why we it because lie to that we are not good. Hello?! Eventually he said then annoyed, he could on the next day time call and he establishes then. Al we again in the bungalow were, called after 10 minutes and asked seriously again, whether we were afraid and we should stop lies and finally say, what is going on. Thereupon we had the mouth full, are into the lobby with him again personally to speak. We said, we feel just twitted he should rather after another flight look and ready! Pllötzlich was it, laughed not more and said, he would take care of it. In addition he offered us komischerweiße on, with him into town to go and with him food to go. We declined.! After a further 10 minutes to the bungalow it knocked. It was the woman guide on the doorstep with a employees from the hotel. She said, you can help us, so we not in the room and we must have no fear before the door to go or generally out to go. Totally annoyed we declined this offer friendly because we were totally ridiculous presented and everything in wrong neck! On the next day he said then only a flight after str would fly and also only in the friday ( we had tuesday). I then times at home and watched it flies daily airline after str so he dreisst lied to, because with the company or where he has called, talked of course in arabic! In the final outcome we could then at least bit leave early. Not after str but after about txl and thus of Berlin with the ice 6:30 hours go on! In short: We would Ghazala Beach not recommend! For older people is it perhaps beautifully, as they are much less be disturbed at the walking as we as a young couple and also the whole day only by the pool beach chairs can. An ageing hotel in a great location. If you are not large have expectations and always tip ready, it is ok. Beach and distance to the nightlife are simply unbeatable. We had a bungalow in the garden area, which have already gotten very old are, the bathrooms are actually nobody to offer more, there is urgently action. After several visits to the gardens we had in jan13 a cheap offer for the beach. So there. Room in the main building. Were almost always at the beach, hardly pool. My conclusion: if the price is true (cheap) one can as time a week go there. Certainly may the rooms a renovation use. But cleaning was efficient and the staff members were all tried hard. That especially pleased, the whole long pulled hotel, the central location, the german guest relations manager and the staff's hospitality. The value for money is absolutely stimmig. The wellness facilities (sauna etc.) Are a bit old and dark and i thought it was too loud it. Whereas the pieces of exercise equipment were great and plentiful available. Unfortunately is, is that the louder pool in front of the hotel heated and not the, which was in the middle of in the hotel complex is, as initially january is also in Egypt an unheated swimming pool for the majority of ... the guests too cold. General is also a pleasant mood under the guest crowd noticably and a large satisfaction, because some told us, that you have stayed here several times were there. Have stayed there twice and enjoyed it. Are in september fly there again, or at the latest in the january with two known. Friendliness is the first thing a met. Our bungalow was great. We both (67-70 years) were bright loved it about this hotel. It is older property but clean and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Small faults were taken care of immediately. Beach and pool were In a good and inviting condition. Food :breakfast and dinner was very good, wide choice and tastefully presented. 85% german speaking guests. Were in the Ghazala Beach for the 2. time we like the comfortable facilities the bungalows around the pool, even if you already a bit shabby works. It would have been nice, if you in the sun (in the cooler months) could eat ( for example where the table tennis and a billiard table are), and in Ghazala Beach all inclusive there. The staff are very friendly and hard-working. The food is okay, something you will always find. The carpet to the pool is dated. If you're no high expectations the accommodation is, you can Ghazala Beach a very nice ... and comfortable vacation spend. read more

The 1 week in the Ghazala Beach we really liked. The staff were always friendly, in a good mood and accommodating. The choice of food was rich. The furnishing of the rooms is something simpler art, but if you just be fünfe leave and not in every corner crumbs finds, is in good hands here. Luxury is different, costs however much more. For all, the reasonably priced and relaxing vacation search, we can Ghazala Beach highly recommend. Also the travel guide, Bianca, was always there for us. We will definitely come back again. read more

My husband and i( both in the 50) have been coming already for some years in Ghazala Beach. We love the small bungalows with a small cosy terrace in front and views of the pool. Sure, it is an older hotel, but it is kept clean. The Entire staff is extremely kind, caring but never pushy. Yes. When we leave the plane, we are at home. We need no luxury and no all inclusive for be happy in the Ghazala Beach. read more

    Well, how much square meters you need on vacation, to Happy and satisfied? So honestly. Old, new, The main thing was that clean. And it every day made. For a few egyptian pounds (we were in Egypt) you even get decoration on the bed gezaubert. The power of the roomboy and the air conditioning with 40 degrees outside temperature in full swing and the room the fridge can be. What we have on the mini bar brings. Chilled soft drinks, beer, Mars, snickers, and so on. Whom disturb something unmodern furniture. Waterbed would be of course not zuverkennen.

    The breakfast is plentiful, as well as the dinner. There is something for every taste. And if you sometimes special food would like to, you can all around, from the italian restaurant, to the chinese, lebanese (mmhh delicious, you must try it out ☺ or swiss feast go. Not to forget grilled food the beach bar, a bierchen or delicious egyptian red wine.

    I believe, as i said already. The staff is super. Friendly, courteous, not pushy. English, italian, german, arabic, etc. Spoken. Especially i would at this place the guest carer mention. Our Bianca is the best and dearest. For everyone and every two open ears (probably ring their straight ☺ )

    So. We were in sharm el sheikh. Actually speaks for itself, or? Sun, sun, more sun. Water, water... Beach, beach chairs with cushions and umbrella. water aerobics, Boccia, darts, yoga or similar. Yes, you could take a shower also. And for the little ones there was also a small playground at the beach and also by the pool.

    Hello. We are just a stone's throw away from the beach and two katzensprünge from the lively Naama Bay away. Nightlife. Yes. The pasha for the youth, the Hard Rock Café for the hard ☺ and everywhere there is live music. The best live music but our Ghazala beach bar. We are leidenschafliche dancers ( discofox, chachacha, foxtrot, well just dancing until the doctor) Shopping, swimming, snorkelling, diving, taxi. Clear. Everything your heart desires.

In spite of the individual bad reviews prior to we have this hotel because of the proximity to the diving station with the idea. So bad it will not be. Booked. A big mistake. It gets worse. The first two days we spend in a totally run-down bungalow (see pictures). We were shocked. After protest with the german travel agency Bianca we got then a somewhat better room in the main building no 4 stars. Bathtub covered. From the plumbing was constantly brown water. After the dry was the white towel brown. The restaurant unreasonable and no trace of hygiene. ... Also here reflects the desolate condition the hotel. The waiters constantly try to pull one over the table. Loud card costs a bottle of wine 250 pound. On the receipt is possible but only 210, the differenc but you should please pay cash. Clearly also think the germans are stupid. Goes into their own pocket. Makes you don't, it is with the friendliness. This hotel is an isolence and an impertinence. Thank god we were the whole day diving, otherwise we would have 2 days later left. read more

Really beautiful comfortable facilities The complex consists of two main buildings, the front desk abut, and small bungalows. There we in one bungalow stayed, i the rooms in the main building no statement meeting. The bungalows are mostly around the large and very clean pool appropriate (i believe room number 211 to 218 west of the pool and room 111 to 118 east). The rooms are not too big but functional with sufficient storage space, tv, mini bar, also as fridge can be used, and hair dryer equipped. Before each bungalow there is a small outdoor area, that means 2 ... unfortunately very uncomfortable chairs and a small table, but the eastern bungalows the advantage of the sunset have. Normally, i am not pictures of interior furnishing and bathroom to internet but after other tourist deficiencies have, i would like to take this time to show how clean and well maintained everything was. Of course this holiday sometimes doors something wrong or joints not authorized, as some expect, this i can only say, then must one evenly a 5 star hotel book. The rooms were in any case every day properly cleaned and wiped (even in the corners). The pool area and garden area was also very clean. The servicebetreuung by the pool was almost luxurious, drinks and even food is the chairs brought. The beach is of the hotel only by a footpath and also very well-kept. There was a small nearby reef with lots of fish, we even got a small rays seen. To eat can be said, so we very satisfied were, the breakfast buffet offered something for all tastes, no matter wether sausage, cheese, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, breads, freshly prepared eggs (fried eggs, omelet ), exotic salads, vegetables, very good coffee – super! The dinner buffet was also varied. Every evening there was a new slogan, as italian, oriental, indian and so on a part of the buffet the food was always similar but there was also every evening something new. Because we not always the half board wanted, it came to meet us much, that the complex not isolated somewhere in the pampa is, but you short way to the city center or one of the many restaurants on the beach promenade could be. The also had the advantage, that one for example drinks, like mineral water, beer or wine very a lot cheaper in town get could. Special remarks: From a trip goal i can el fanar recommend. It is a kind of ausflugsstätte, entry 60 pound (towels and a small mineral water bottle included) this wonderful resort has a really beautiful -aged steep reef, the also gladly by divers frequented, we only went snorkeling but also it was breathtaking. The taxi there costs 25 pound simply, thus not be ripped off. In short: A really amazing vacation, very relaxing, we were now already the 2. time there and want to in january go back. read more

The Ghazala Beach is in my opinion perfect for a nice beach vacation in sharm el-sheikh with a few excursions to the hinterland. The hotel isn't the newest and here and there there are in any case in need of renovation. It was our room always super clean, towels were regularly replaced and the staff are generally very friendly and accommodating %blank%. There were drawbacks unfortunately for the food and the pool, but honestly: what you this prices already expect? The hotel right on the beach, you can good and cheap eat out, if the design of the hotel not ... so appealing and comfortable the beach promenade along stroll. We also have a trip to the mountain of moses and Saint Catherine's Monastery (when night) and felt very safe and well cared for (have not in the hotel booked, but with a tour operator on the street, such tours for half offer). My closing tip: the egyptians work in tourism for convenient nothing salary and are dependent on tips. Therefore: in the 'baksheesh' not picky! For every still so small service you should a few coins to spare. read more

I was nun 2 times in this hotel, this time in festhaus. The staff are brilliant, the guests menagerin is very attentive, very pleasant. The front desk has always a kind word for every tourist. Had a small malleur with the toilet flush, at night 1 hours everything was ok. Reported it only about 9:00 p. m. Room boy cleaned very clean, we could not complain. Annoying were only the many cats, the jump even to the 1. floor or there are tourist, the let from the corridor in the rooms and then jump the beasts of balcony to ... balcony. Bungalows and rooms mostly in miserablen condition! Dining area with service is accordingly the same disaster. It is just for years nothing more in the repair the entire area investment.     Location is ok if you have a einfliegenden jet hide the several times a day to the landing einfliegt. As mentioned, ideal for diving, as the diving station right around the eke and the port for the boat landing in 10 minutes' walk away.
