A very great hotel, i now for the 2. time visited around a few wellness days. I have also already often bar and everybody was previously loved it. The successful blend of tradition and modern makes it easy, just comfortable. Everywhere you will find lovely decorations and great colors. Since my last visit about three years ago was the lobby completely and very successfully restructured. Also the pool area and the loungers were renewed. The hotel is wonderful for the, the a special and warm atmosphere. There is lots of regular guests. read more

    I have the cheaper theme room as a single room booked. The themed rooms are nicely furnished and were for my purposes absolutely good. To 2. it would be however somewhat too narrow for my taste and particularly the bathroom not lots of space. 'larger körperformen' would their problems. Facilities is very good with a tv, minibar, balcony, bathrobe, umbrella, etc... The morning/evening sun and panorama rooms are much bigger and very comfortable. But stop also a bit more expensive.

    Excellent star cuisine, pleasant ambience. Lots of possibilities nice to sit and food. One evening there was the main course from the buffet, That was in comparison to the course menus of the other evenings not so recommendable. Staff really makes an effort. Particularly positive emphasized should be a service called Julia. They alone deserves 6 suns!

    Pool and separate spa bergoase are very nicely furnished. Good mix of 60 degrees sauna, finnish sauna and steam room. Areas can during rush hour at the weekend already sometimes full. However, we have the times always good and had everywhere 'freely'.

    Nice location on approximately 800 meters in the bavarian forest. Surrounded by nature, great views and many leisure facilities in the area. Hiking, skiing, waldwipfel way, deer antlers, In the summer bullcart and summer toboggan run Also excursions in nearby cities.

Because of the pleasant and very good designed website are we this hotel has become attentive. We make much wellness, in the bavarian forest. We are friday evening arrived, we were 2 families with a child! The first impression was actually quite positive, nice front desk, pleasant atmosphere, the rooms were big and neat. Unfortunately the room was not as good as on the homepage described. It was just a room new and modern designed, the transition between the old and new works not really, the bathroom is from the 80 with goldwasserhähnen etc. Where the gold slowly peel! Evening ... entertainment was then buffet, was very good. Sadly the service evening almost only from trainees, the were very hard, but it was missing the managing hand! Large wine list, from the wines was missing the experience of the service forces, the wine you had to itself refill. It was missing several times cutlery at the table, which even after twice inquiring still never came! There were not very timely comments of the male hotel specialists, as beispielsw. You could with the 'fingers food' etc., that is unacceptable! It was also no service ladder since, the also after the right look. Absolutely not enough staff! In september we had booked and our people family had without gluten bread rolls or bread space, which the breakfast waitress didn't know, and felt very awkward addressed had, and with their bad mood us the breakfast over feel left! The spa was from the first impression clean and tidy. Absolute drawback was the no cups at the so-called trinkstation the part of the water was empty. There was soiled crockery partly longer hours in the bathing area, without also only a waitress came to clear them away, and the on saturday afternoon where the spa was quite busy! And there were also nowhere towels from! For breakfast we were told, the evening an internal christmas party is taking place, for the staff at the hotel, one must at the latest at 20 o'clock with be done eating, and afterwards there were drinks to clear in the lobby. The dinner consisted of 3 salads from the rifle, cold soup, and instead of, as in the map written, mozzarella instead of sheep cheeses, after we had asked why this is so we got not even answer! The main course took even longer, because they wrongly estimated had in the kitchen. We were briefly after 8. o'clock finished and had only after mehrmaligerer call a cocktail get! In the self-service there were cheap schankwein and a few bottles of beer, carafe of orange juice! So absolutely bad! You could have a couple of days before an email to all the guests chic may, the on the day there were, and to a christmas party is taking place, as you could, in the evening a alternative to eat looking for! But that would have been the guests disgusting! For the return trip we then weighted, not even the boss man has called to clarify the issue, although the in the house was, so the receptionist get everything! I think, nor can the their guests choose as things stand, but many tourists were also very upset because of the fact with the christmas party! Our summary: the price/performance ratio does not fit, a star too much! I think you pay for the majority of the beautiful view into the mountains! We will the hotel not enter! I was only one night there - of Al single traveler, only night and breakfast. But I liked it very much and I will certainly with girlfriend once a weekend or even a couple of days vacation spend. The room 112 was a double room for single use. It was not very big, but modern and contemporary furnishing. The bathroom was actually big enough, however the shower then again rather small. The room had a balcony. Unfortunately the room was a little noisy (voices from the corridor, noise from the toilet in the neighboring room). Also sauna and swimming pool ... are nothing special large. However the hotel has only 50 room and I think sufficient. In any case were both contemporary in style, it was good and possibilities to lie down and in the sauna was even from the staff a brew carried out ( however the lady just 4 spoons water with fragrance aufgegossen and was very fast again disappeared). For of the sauna and the swimming pool is a large sunbathing area (with outdoor pool in the summer) and magnificent view in the Bavarian forest. From the breakfast is nothing special to say. No fresh juice and no freshly prepared egg dishes, however the quality and the presentation of the food was all right. Might sound the criticism now but not so good, as the title suggests. Now-about the benefits, there is always a price - and it is reasonable value for money in this hotel. Finally, everything for a nice stay available and this to a reasonable price. Negative - that is unacceptable: in a escape route marked staircase there were cribs. read more

Very beautiful hotel in the middle of beautiful landscape of the bavarian forest. Pleasant staff, selection of dishes well, qualitatively and quantitatively. However the music from the speakers in the restaurant is an impertinence. To the demand, who is responsible for, one said 'this is what the boss it!' If there is a restaurant-alternative in the immediate area would have been, we have not done. And the statement, that the boss this impossible music like, is also not at all! read more

    Everyone was really friendly, however not always reliable. On friday evening we were bike rent and guides hikes after the weekend, promised, on monday there was neither the one nor the other ( merely 2 times per week one-hour night walks). Robes and every day umpteen fresh towels ( for the sauna area)

    The room was very spacious, constructed with a work corner and big balcony. Unfortunately, there was massive problems with the cleanliness of the room. In the shower was a used ladies razor. You could the shower cleaned, if you also good! On the bedside tables were two hair clips, apparently also leftover my vorbewohnerin of the room. The work area was clearly with dust covered.

    The reception was warm, also the service in the restaurant was exceptionally friendly. On the following, legitimate flaws in the area ' rooms' one reacted at the front desk it was concerned, however i was the full rate and the restaurant bill were unbuttoned to us-almost cheeky!

The hotel is very abseitzt in maibrunn. It is quite nice. It is very good, if you relaxation and or hiking I would like. The rooms are unfortunately no that nice, our room had in the bathroom some faults ( air ventilation so loud, as if a train through the room drives, tiles broken, toilet jump down, cracks in the washbasin etc.) the breakfast is ok, but nothing especially. It is little, if at all be refilled, if away then away.) the glecihe shall apply during dinner, if the buffet is empty, it took wewig supplies, if at ... all. Which was very annoying, that you during dinner, constantly asked, whether one still which to drink would like and if not are you really offended. Since we from hotel didn't have any real connoisseur, we are taking no interest. There was a small pool inside, a pool the outside. Both quite small. The sauna and wellness area is general very small. The treatments are ok. Unfortunately there is the shower in a unclean state. The shower head is so verklakt defendendo, that hardly water came out. The old boss is very annoying during dinner. Expresses a gesrpäch right on. read more

We were two days relaxing, the staff were very, very hard. By US booked Foot reflexology was unusually great, however has the time not observed (instead of angegbenen 30 minutes only 22 minutes). The beverage prices were completely covered! read more

We were for a short wellness vacation over the weekend, we really enjoyed it. The hotel is a family-run business and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The boss, partly even with from, at the guests, what very sympathetic. The furnishing creates the Jump between tradition and modern. There are many Bavarian, solid element, combined with new, modern and clear lines. We personally this very good. The sun terrace is a highlight, the kitchen serves wonderful dishes, there was every day an other map. Our biggest compliment the friendliness and bemühtheit of the staff, keep it up! read more

Unfortunately after our weekend stay very disappointed from this hotel, that was the photos a super impression power. The food was okay, but, you should outside of the inclusive offers food, it is outrageously expensive, also the beverages ( for example a 0.5 liter Saftschorle or coke and lemonade 4 euros, a salad with put strips 10,90 euros). the themed room was tiny, only an outdated balcony door for some fresh air. You can this hotel only either fully open or leave closed. Thank god nobody stolen. The bathroom is extremely small as a couple one has definitely ... no place therein, no mirror, no land to the file, a light bulb was burned out and the whole weekend was not replaced and the shower is tiny. The wardrobe is okay for a weekend, but for long-term, you had no place for your clothes. The cleaning ladies had it probably not so with dusting, and the carpet was also totally vmit stains covered. The sauna area was very nice and new but also very small and little couch possibilities, no Taucherbecken, only showers. Very beautiful hotel, unfortunately for a wellness vacation not so suitable. The peace area is in the sauna area very integrated. Angeküngigte saunaaufgüsse did not take place. The art rooms is smallest, the bathroom is very small and in the shower one can hardly turn. But a standard room with all the amenities you need. The hotel makes a good impression and holds, what it promises. The rooms are huge and offer lots of space. Merely the mold at the Holzfenstern mind the good full picture. The restaurant and the food are very good ( homemade salami ), the service fast and friendly. For people on business trip could the Wi-Fi and cell phone reception are better ( especially Wi-Fi!). For a short break always recommendable. read more

    We stayed in the superior room category 'sunrise' and a night 'panoramic view' this room also did not with the Internet modern style with and were rather conservative furnished. Especially the bathrooms were very shabby and seemed gross. Although the bathrooms were always quite large, were for example tiny with Eckduschen triangular floor plan integrated, the little movement enabled. The shower cabins in both cases leaky. The cleanliness was OK, only the radiator were full and had no doubt already for months cleaning see.

    the outdoor pool is tiny. The indoor swimming pool in terms of size good, however is the pool area dark and of a very inhospitable atmosphere. The sauna area is attractive and as advertised on the Internet. With 6 chairs in the peace area however way too small. The hotel has 111 beds! As it is, if one in ten of the wellness area use, in order to provide for hopeless congestion. The hotel advertises as a 'well vital hotel' for its spa offer. You should like us in the winter in the evening sauna want to use or pool, you must be prepared to urge the fullest close.

Unfortunately the closets for longer Übernachtungn not suitable, as there is otherwise no dresser or something like that. We were as a couple, 2 nights with a small closet, in which however yet the mini bar and the safe was. Possibilities a piece of furniture to be available. Events wear are available, but this has the flair of the room not taken.

    For Einkaufbummeln the area is not so very suitable, but the nearby Straubing offers everything. The landscape is wonderful, almost on your doorstep of the hotel befindete itself the Waldwipfelpfad, the in any case a trip value is. The hotel is partly renovated for example sauna area. Theme rooms are very small, size of the bathroom. Unacceptable.., Closet tiny (for a person too small) no possibilities to file, no mirror in the rooms. Too few beach chairs in the sauna area. Beauty department with very nice and competent staff, but unheated, small cabins... Food was not outstanding, the buffet (breakfast!) and limited selection of food. Drinks overpriced!
