The hotel is very central in sölden, somewhat remote the main street, at a steep slope convenient. It is quiet but still only partially. The church right next to it, as well as après ski bar a few metres away are always hear. But if you are looking for peace, is in sölden is in the wrong place ☺. The hotel features enough parking spaces for every guest, either in the house-own underground car park or the on-site parking the hotel. The guest structure was in our travel period (last february week) very mixed (mostly german, french or russian). The room was unfortunately the only drawback on the whole hotel. Apparently there are rooms, which have already been renovated, and the room, definitely a renovation need of restoration. On the internet has the room definitely modern and inviting looked, as it was really the case. The whole room was with rustikeln wooden furniture, the unfortunately already very worn seemed. The closet didn't even be able to be closed any longer, all wooden beams and doors were scratched and the tables and chairs have already better days experienced. - a great shame! The bathroom but i think recently renovated. This made a good impression. Also i a fridge/mini bar in the room missing. Sadly i had to say, that the windows not very sound proof... In the evening you can hear everything from the nearby après ski bar, and in the morning i every day the kirchengeläute to point 6 hours alive... The could have been better. Otherwise we had a beautiful tiled stove in the room, where we super our wet things or ourselves could warm up ☺ Fernsehtechnisch was at least our room equipped with a flat screen.

The hotel offers half-board for. There are two different spaces. The normal restaurant, in which also the buffet and the dining room somewhat remote, in the much quieter. Every room gets its own capacity assigned, the you during the stay also reserves. Because we a room the higher category booked, we fortunately a place in the stüberl get assigned. The atmosphere here is really pleasant and especially very quiet. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. In the evening there is always a 5-course meal with a wide choice of salads from the buffet and diversified before-or dessert from the buffet. There is also once a week an italian evening, and once tyrolean evening, in which you all the delights at the buffet receives. In the course you can always between two soups and three main courses as selection. The choice is already during breakfast met. The food really blown away. It was absolutely delicious and especially a real treat for the eyes. Definitely a kitchen of the elevated class.

The service is really excellent. You feel like you are already in the front desk a warm welcome and for breakfast and dinner the service really no wishes more open. Here are all really friendly, but not too intrusive.

The hotel claims itself as a sport hotel. For me, however, is a gym or similar for days, in which the weather not for skiing or hiking. Otherwise it is really a great hotel for a ski holiday because of the close to the slopes and convenient shuttle service. What also a big plus for us was, was the free use of the depots directly at the giggijochbahn cable car. Here could footwear be stored, whereby one morning nice with comfortable shoes either on foot or with the shuttle to the gondola and in the evenings also with comfortable shoes back to the hotel old. Of course you can but also over the ski slope to the hotel and the hotel's own ski cellar its ski storage. The exit of the valley is in my opinion not a very nice way, which is why we always with the gondola back to the valley drove. Otherwise, the alpina boasts a very nice designed spa area, with a sauna, different steam baths, a jacuzzi, a kneipp basin, an infrared cabin, a solarium, massages and beautiful beach chairs. Here you can free of charge at various teas, as well as to fruit serve. Bathrobes free at the front desk and towels in the spa ready. Unfortunately was of course between 17 and 18 o'clock peak times in the spa, which makes it a little loud could.

The Hotel Alpina is almost in the middle of everything. In only a few fußmetern you can reach the center of sölden, with its shopping and nightlife options. In sölden itself, there were 2 different cable cars with different ski slopes (gaislachkogel or giggijoch) the Hotel Alpina is located directly in between. On foot are both gondolas each reachable in a few minutes. The in-house shuttle service drives however from 8:30 to 11:00 always to the desired train.
