Whoever is looking for peace and quiet, is in the right place in this hotel. Only evenings would be a bit more and above all varied entertainment program desirable, since one in the surroundings unfortunately no fallback procedures has. There are departures in the bathroom: if you at the bath longer than 5 minutes in the shower, half the bathroom is underwater and the tiles very slippery. Very recommendable; only problem may be long ways from the room to the restaurant respectively to the beach. Staff extremely friendly and English speaking. High of high quality and very varied buffet. read more

    The rooms are really nice, it paid off in the main building to, since you then right nearby of the pool or the bar, the front desk, of the buffet is. After the hotel is build on a hillside, there is a rack railway, the however a very slow connection is the untigen hotel room up to main building.

    Hotel lies in a bay, the hotel beach is very small and gravel. It is rather to rent a car and after issos drive. ( sandy beach). There is down in the bay 2 taverns, the lowest tavern is sensational. Here cooks the mother of the family business and the tastes very good.

The hotel itself is in an extreme hillside in the bay of ermones built. Loud internetangaben there is the complex since the 70. Years and around 2008 completely renovated. The room, restaurants, pool area, beach and pool bar found in immaculate condition. The guests are too many from great britain, some German, a few french, greek, austrians. Since it was a pure 'adult-only' hotel is, you meet almost exclusively on couple all age groups. read more

    Our room (276) was well reachable on foot from the reception to reach. We had a beautiful view of the sea and a private small garden with two shade-giving large pine trees and view of the sea. Directly beside us in individual bungalow: one of the suites with private pool. There was a great temptation once over the fence jump! The room clean, cleaned every day. Fire alarm on the ceiling needs to be replaced, in the bathroom you can with incorrect use the shower a decent flood presentation. Apart from that pretty, appropriate furnishing, manierlicher flat screen with 5 or 6 German tv-programs. Safe, fridge. No coffee machine or tea makers.

    To the hotel complex belong: * medusa main restaurant: breakfast and dinner buffet * vertigo à la carte restaurant for the dinner * thalatta beach bar with snacks and drinks ( frappe 3,20 Euro, ice tea 2,90 Euro, glass of wine 4,00 Euro, ionian pilsner 4,20 Euro, cocktails 9.90 respectively, 12,50 Euro always served with chocolate, cheese, nachos, etc. PP; club sandwich with fries 10,00 Euro, ham & cheese sandwich 6,00 Euro, salads 10 to euros) * eros bar pool area ( price see above, the same offer as at the beach bar) * thalatta restaurant à la carte area for lunchtime ( we didn't use) The breakfast buffet is huge, great choice ( recommendable: greek yoghurt, honey, walnuts; but also international standards: bacon, eggs in all variations, baked beans, fresh fruits, different juices and so on etc.) ; only problem: the breakfast on the terrace is because of a really bad wespenplage not to enjoy! So inside and air conditioned! The dinner: each evening the week under another motto committed (bbq, greek night, Italian night, mediterranean night, gala night and so on); a 'real' difference makes the end not. There was always a choice delicious greek appetizers ( dolmedaki, tsatsiki, hummus, olives, salad, brotsalat and so on), 'international' salads ( maissalat, tortellinisalat, potatoes and nudelsalatvarianten ) and soups ( Gazpacho the mediterranean night). Main course there are a lot of variants of grilled meat: lamb, pork, beef, chicken, liver, often with different sauces, altogether of fluctuating quality, altogether edible. Cooking times well done or 'well done'. Moussaka is offered, stuffed tomatoes, pasta dishes or one or another fish - everything it wasn't earth-shaking, but mostly delicious. The dessert corner was: baklava and greek yoghurt are obligatory. Various cakes ( lemon, mousse au chocolate ), ice cream, profiteroles in all variations. Unfortunately mostly way too sweet and completely artificial flavourings based. Unfortunately! Drinks are in half board/ full board not included in the price: the large flaschemineralwasser beats with 3,90 Euro to book, the house wine comes with 8.50 (red, white, rose 375 millilitre ) respectively 16 €(0.75 liter) quite drinkable therefor. Afterwards for the greek wines from 21.50 to 37,50 Euro. Delicious for 27,50 Euro the white of theotakis estate. The glass sparkling wine cost 10,00 Euro, should thus be avoided! For the room charge is just a sign, tips can then after american. Manner on the bill be noted. The atmosphere is nice, mild summer evenings, partly. Discreet live music from the nearby eros bar; altogether understated audience.

    The staff are consistently absolutely friendly, in a good mood, also times for a chat to; everything however only in English! The anglo-saxon politeness accordingly is the for certain trained, professional friendliness of the staff from (' how are you? ',' enjoy your dinner! ' etc. Pp). But rather so, as musty silence. Suitcase are from the staff and transported. Also when checking out around 5.30 in the morning you're friendly to the golf cart pick up.

    Due to the hillside location the pool area and the à la carte restaurant 'vertigo', as well as the superior -rooms a dreamlike view of the sea included great sunsets. The bay of ermones is a wonderful attraction. The associated beach, by pedes and with the hotel's own cable car. Altogether you should because of the extensive area with stark climbs good on foot on the way, sometimes adopted the pleasant staff also with golfkarts with! From the hotel are north and south of the small island prima explore; cars could in the hotel be rented ( Chevrolet matiz for 3 days 120 €). In the hotel itself there are a small store (6-pack water 6 €, small bag with brotchips 2€ and so on), directly in front of the resort and in ermones there are other shops ( preislevel situation is antiproportional the distance from the hotel; at the hotel exit brotchips 1.60 Euro, in ermones 1.10 Euro). Corfu-city is with the green bus line, the directly in front of the hotel entrance stops reach. Besides that the hotel offers tennis courts, a small beach volleyball court ( never in use as long as we were there), an indoor pool ( also never in use), an asian -spa area ( from 75 €for the treatment), table tennis and darts, as well as a small library with vacation reading.

Everything ok, however we had from a five-star hotel expected more. Who however not good on foot, should the hotel avoid. The 'lift' was with us 4 times out of order, then it means of stairs to climb. The drinks in the hotel are absolutely overpriced!: Beer 3 dL from 4,20 Euro. Water 7.5 dL 3,90 Euro. Cocktails 9,90 Euro - 12:00. Soft drinks think about 4 Euro. - wines we had a good (3 try ) 18,00 Euro - 50:00. Tip: the island is really nice. In the north beautiful white steindtrände ..., in the south really beautiful sandsrand (per 1 hour drive). Car rent! read more

This hotel is for every recommendable nonetheless, the demanding, good to relax and flexible is. The biggest fault we found, that the beach very dirty and small was and we thank god a rental car had, to more beautiful beaches to find. This was also not difficult. Because the hotel very 'off the beaten track' is, we could so by car the island explore and under people come. Corfu city was many a time worth a trip. There are also wonderful Bays, the easy by car to reach. The rooms, in hillside are very modern and too many with a ... view of the sea. The bathroom is also very high standard, with bath tub and shower equipped. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good sleep in ( as long as the good lady despite sign on the door not simply into the room was ). From the balcony you could on the roofs of the subject apartments look and some were also with a private pool equipped, which also easily visible. Unfortunately helped us on the rooms no Wi-Fi available. The connection was very poor and barely worked. Also in the main building there were problem. The service and the food were fantastic. You could to eat inside or outside ( also over the poo-no seawater pool! L) sit and the wishes were from the lips. I in a 5 star before not yet experienced. Here the guest is really king! The food was very plentiful and diverse and it tasted just delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Particularly the sweet meals had we liked-) you could also comfortably to eat and send for, not the partial long way to main building take. There is also a lift but it sometimes takes 10 to 20 minutes until you get up and down. Us it was important to eat well, to reside and US comfortable and the we had without doubt in this hotel. We would in any case go there again. However you have to rent a rental car procure, otherwise you are a bit cut off from the outside world. The climate was hot (33 to 35 degrees) but by the constant wind very bearable. A small thing, there are. The cleaning ladies were unfortunately not very thorough and only the coerced, I hope, that something done will, otherwise the rooms in a couple of years maybe not so nice. The hotel lies relatively isolated. However there are good bus access and directly in front of the türe car rentals. The staff were very friendly and also for excursion tips ready! If you on foot is the elevator use. ( but you have to time, because the is really slow) because the hotel was in the middle of a hillside. Only couples, no children. Predominantly English audience. All in all it was a really great holiday and we can the complex only recommend. The cleanliness was satisfactory, the balcony nice and big, with a great view! The food was also ... very good! The prices at the bar were however salted. read more

Really great hotel for couples! There is swimming pools and even an indoor pool, as well as tennis courts ( spa area new set up). The view respectively the location is very quaint. The service was exceptional. Traffic on Corfu is generally bad, it is a hired car almost a must ( but easy right at the hotel). read more

A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. We were given one of the bungalows at first , but when they saw that my husband had difficulty walking to the funiicular lift they arranged for us to be in the main hotel. The room was excellent , the food also, and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. We had a lovely stay there, to finish off our cruise, just wish it had been longer. read more

Itself is the complex very nice location, it is however in a sorry state in this respect. The spa area is a construction and can not be used. Also the gardens are not maintained. The beach is small and neglected. The beach bar is not open. The staff seemed unhappy and the service is therefore not sufficiently guaranteed. read more

We felt very good and again at any time wonderful views from the room or the terraces enjoy. Since we only booked breakfast had, we ate evenings several times in belonging to the hotel restaurant Vertigo excellent, as well as in the two nice taverns in the bay at the foot of the hotel complex. With our Loaner cars we could on relatively good streets everywhere drive ( for example 13 kilometer to the capital Kerkyra), and therefore we could the general traffic connection of the hotel not judge. The hotel has 5 stars, these correspond to the country category, but fair way must say, but they are good. The hotel is first since 2009 in use. The rooms, than bungalow designed, they are large and very clean. The location is on the hillside, therefore, you should, if bad on foot is, a room nearby the front desk try to get. There is via Elektrocar in any case a shuttle service to the various room, but it is annoying, I think. The food in buffet form is very diverse and very good. The chef seemed no Greek to be. ... Shortcoming here is, that every guest to their table personally accompanied, that means the guests must have before the restauranttüre evening line up around accompanied to be. This is peak just very annoying. The sun and pool area is beautiful. The belonging furniture very elegant and the service even here very nice and friendly, without being pushy. To the bathing beach one comes with a lift ( the ' schneckenartig'bewegt. At all rooms is Wi-Fi free. That means you need a own laptop. It is definitely recommendable to rent a car. This can well locally done, since the prices there is usually cheaper as a reservation, as we did. The hotel was without children, because under 16 years is here no reservation possible.     We had both breakfast and dinner in buffet form try it-the offer and the quality of the dishes I almost nothing to be desired! If you are not in main restaurant, but à la carte meals wants, can also still in the Italian Gourmet restaurant food, the as outdoor- restaurant is designed. In October the area was because of the weather however closed, they offered but the possibility, in a separated part from the main restaurant the dishes from the menu to order. In addition offers the pool bar until late also small dishes. At the beach offers the hotel have a beach restaurant, the until 17 o'clock dishes.

    Highly professional and trained to the best, from the reception to the service- great! I am really reiseerfahren, but here you could me clearly positive impressive! English and German for the most not a problem. Even the chambermaids hard-working to good English!     Great, massive very attractive designed pool area with the optics, on the pool edge into the open sea to swim. Fitness room, indoor indoor pool, tennis courts, golf nearby, Darts, table tennis at the active tourist was planned. For the wellness lovers there is a great spa area with wide gefächtertem offer.     Fantastically beautiful scenic location nestled in a picturesque Bay- what else could you want? -the place ermones itself has whereas not lots to offer, there must one into the CIRCA 14 kilometer away Corfu town. The sandy beach in the bay is also only moderately beautiful and nothing special large. But the hotel has a generous swimming pool and enough room. You want the area explore, one gets without a car not enough.

We can only recommend to everyone, to visit this hotel. Rooms, pool area and the food was wonderful! However, if you like doing something regularly with a rental car, you will quickly notice, that the island not has so much to offer. For a beach holiday one-week with occasional trips (for example to Corfu town) is the island in combination with the hotel was perfect! read more
