The room was very small, also toilet with a shower. The carpet was old stains. The window ( room 14) was screwed and could not be opened. There no air conditioning is available, only a narrow Schlitz with engmaschigem grid, was the get a little stuffy and was. With the hair dryer lacked hose. The building should undergo renovation will.

The hotel Noordzee in Scheveningen is a smaller (45 rooms) and older (building from the 1960s) hotel right in the center of schevenigen. Inside The building does partial right stated, the elevator does not work reliably, the corridors are cramped, musty and dreary. The lobby and bar is a bit small and was apparently fairly recently renovated. Everywhere depends on a bit musty smell. read more

The rooms are an Indonesian style decorated (wicker furniture, Indonesian figures and pictures). You are quite small though and have a also small Duschklo (d. H. as is often in the south: Small room with sink, toilet and shower, the showers completely splash water). The rooms are with extremely soft beds (not worn, but very soft), a small table with chair, and a small closet (for insider: Aneboda) furnished, there are extremely little storage space for luggage and effects. The curtains are not quite out lining. My room had a 26 inch flat screen TV (ARD, ZDF and everything Dutch). All the furnishings were on the whole in ok condition and not ancient, but several signs of wear and tear. Main drawback: The room smelled extremely unpleasant, and also very heavy air failed to That helps a bit. Is probably the building. The doors are very bumpy, the bathroom fan) this is also very loud.

The breakfast room is in the cellar - the on it fairly lovingly decorated (old photos of Scheveningen), apparently also for wild parties (bar and a stage available), but overall a bit drab impression. The breakfast is good quality ok, the selection limited (at least: When the oven working, there are freshly baked rolls; in addition: coffee from the machine, salami, cheese, cereal, Bedorven Hagelslag, peanut butter, juices, yogurt, some fruit).

The staff at the front desk was very friendly, consisted of advance purchase. The service but it is not particularly professional (once I had to wait a few minutes in the evening until someone came to give me my room key). One of the days, they (perhaps because the Do not disturb-tag just returned in the wrong 30 minutes before the door) the room cleaning completely forget, the next day it was not to a high standard (bed made careless, carpet not cleaned.

The hotel is situated in the center of Scheveningen, between Kurhaus and village. Some of the rooms have sea view. The tram stop (badhuiskade, line 1 ) is right in front of the hotel. Since the hotel across the street was set back, it felt quite quiet. Would normally have direct access to the "Boulevard" and to the beach, but construction at the time we were there, there is a short detour. All in all, Kurhaus beach and shopping street of Scheveningen (Keizerstraat) very easy to reach. The drive to the Hague tram journey is about a 10 minute walk, Vredespaleis and Jugoslawientribunal are directly between the hotel and town.

The room was small and would be happy to receive a renovation. On the white linen one bed found some black hairs of the score before us and some "undefined dark crumbs. Unfortunately the balcony was very poorly kept up. We found several cigars!!! -Cigarette butts, ash and many cigarette butts. The balcony apparently serves as an ashtray. Also an old ausgespuckter gum was on the doorstep of the balcony. The windows of the room were unfortunately so dirty that you could only bad look out (see photo). Everything is somewhat neglected and neglected. For the room, we have 75 euro for a night. Also the embursement of 9 Euro and tourist tax for 5,08 €. All in all, we were so at 89 , - €. We had to pay directly at check-in. TV, telephone and hair dryers are available on the room. The closet is small. We had only one bedside lamp in the room for two bedside tables. Safe or minibar are not available. The bathroom was clean. Shower gel was available.

We spent the night without breakfast option (breakfast (€10 per person). in the evening the bar seemed not welcoming. Certain men sat in the bar area slots and enjoyed the FLASHING machines. The seemed uncomfortable and not very welcoming.

Check-in was fast and easy. More service we didn't use. But as we balcony and window the room and very neglected take notice this causes a drawback for service.

On the ground floor near the elevator is an internet access available. The bar features slots, a dart game and a pool table. The sea and the beach are only a short walk away.

Location about 50 meters from the beach and from the Boulevard in Scheveningen away in a quiet street. From our balcony we could see the sea. Looked out in the other direction, one saw the Hague. The hotel does not have private parking facilities. Parking on the street side must be paid either on the meter, or you can get in the hotel parking ticket for 9 € (is valid from arrival until the next day for lunch, 12 :00 pm). Apart from sitting on the beach within walking distance including the circus theater, the Holland Casino. Den Haag is easy to reach by bus or car.

Upon arrival must be paid in advance, although you still no room. In the room is not a closet available, but only a 50 x 200 x 50 cm small closet. 2 (In words TWO) on a Garderobenstange hangers. When taking a shower, the bathroom floor soaked. The locks with all your power must be moved to the castle, which is of course was a lot of noise, also in all the other room on the floor. read more
