The Riosol is a great place to choose for either self catering or half board. The weather is always wonderful, with a view to match. For a 3 star plus rated facility you are getting far more than you should expect at this level of rating. The company works hard to keep up standards year after year, and many people return year after year. read more

The apartment hotel is distinguished by the nice location and views and the friendly and helpful staff. The whole hotel area was always in immaculate condition. Half board with large choice (daily changing specialties from various countries ) very recommendable. read more

We felt in the hotel Riosol felt really good, the views of Puerto Rico, from the very generous terrace with 2 loungers, sun screen, table and chairs, is fantastic. The staff were very friendly, whereby it something pleasant would you could have been a little more speak German, but the German guests were rather in the minority. There were mainly English, Spaniards and Dutch. With the cleaning the apartments, as well as the changing we were satisfied. We had us for 5 days about the hotel a car rented, which was quickly and uncomplicated manner. It was us at the ... hotel brought and picked up again. We would like to highlight the very varied and tasty dinner in a very pleasant and clean atmosphere, with always friendly and attentive staff. For three stars very commendable! The rather negative was the something widens, steep walk to the beaches, but we have by previous information known and had prepared. There are 2 beaches, Puerto Rico, views you from the terrace and amadores, for we always decided, very nice to swim in, as very protected. To the entertainment in the evening, besides in the hotel, there was only the near from the hotel lying shopping mall with different restaurants ( very English) and various shops. We have nothing special comfortable, the staff the restaurants was unpleasant pushy, we always have a walk when untergehender sun preferred.
All together it was a pleasant stay and we would recommend it. read more

The apartment hotel is for a 3 star in Gran Canaria evaluated properly. The complex, the pool the restaurant are very clean. The rooms however not. It is poorly swept and actually small but not bad equipped bathroom was only superficially cleaned. However we have to say, the kitchen and the fridge were clean. The trash except on Sunday daily emptied. Change of towels could more often his. We had Tuesday prior and 1. change in the Friday, 2. change in the Monday, Tuesday Departure. However was the 15. August public holiday, what the change after 4 days however not ... an apology. Air conditioning can rented are 8 €day, 50€ week. Who mainly at the beach must be aware, that this only by taxi possible (if one the about 500 steps to circumvent). A drive circa 4 Euro. Also in the apartment complex, despite lift on the mountain very many steps. If you on foot is this a good look at.
A shopping center with shops restaurants and so on is easily accessible on foot or by taxi in Puerto Rico. There is no bus connection. The place and the beach everything is designed. No historic town or Sunday
The hotel lies so at the top on the mountain therefore wonderful view, in night as well nice to look at. Air conditioning in the hotel only in the dining room. We booked half board and with the buffet really very satisfied. The food was good, the service always very accommodating and friendly. We booked through TSS travel GmbH and were also here with the liquidation satisfied Which one must still say: the hotel is a family hotel with mainly English and Spanish guests, very few Germans guests with the positive experience did, that there is no pressure for the food and also by the pool was. read more

Our third stay. Well located fro eating out and evening entertainment at the Europa Centre. The beaches are a bit of a walk downhill, a walk back only for the fit and able or 3 Euros for a taxi. The bar snacks/meals at hotel are fine; decent variety and reasonable prices. Small supermarket on-site with a good sized supermarket with all the familiar UK brands of food and toiletries within the Europa Centre 5 mins away. Large pool area, ample loungers and these are monitored by pool staff to stop people simply leaving towels to reserve them and these lying ... unused. Mostly UK holidaymakers when we have stayed. A good base for a family with kids say 8-16 years old. read more

The rooms in the massive apartment are ok. On the various problems, such as broken kettle and so on we ignored. The massive terrace with the great extensive view some compensated. The complex offers nothing special, the number of loungers by the pool is not enough. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. ' every third day your towels changed, if not they say bescheid' somehow was us equal to with the reading of the sentence clear, that we in the third day no new towels are to be given. We then know and fresh towels arrived. These were however ... as new, directly from the factory, never gewasche, that you not abtrockenen could, because you afterwards white with fußeln roofed was. Pay tv and pay -air conditioning is impossible, should standard belong. We then however our beds on the terrace and a week under the starry sky slept. Where did you find that. read more

Definitely returning again next year. What a treat!
We have stayed at the hotel as part of a package but feel confident and happy that we will be very well looked after as independent travellers. The staff are fantastic and although their English is very good I feel confident and happy to practice a little of my very poor Spanish. Our daughter is treated with friendliness and kindness and is encouraged to enjoy her holiday which allows us to enjoy ours. We have found fellow guests to be friendly and welcoming also. read more

The Rio Sol is a terraced, well-kept Appartanlage with about 200 rooms in good condition. However some of the furniture could be renewed, or the rooms before the company better shall be checked. Sliding door of the closet went not at all.
our apartment was clean and regularly cleaned, with our food we were satisfied, there was a rich and varied buffet, however reduced the selection by the 06-01-2012. For example there were only two coffee Machine, three, so you after coffee at certain times line up had to. A juice machine, the guests were torn down, is not renewed. ... Thus the guests after your juice at the only the vending machine at. The service forces spoke Spanish and English, are very willing to make an effort and friendly.
the present guests were mostly Scandinavian, English and German nationality all age groups. read more

Is highly recommended. Clean and large room with a great terrace with a view of the sea. The pool was very large and very well maintained. Enough beach chairs and umbrellas. We stayed in a apartment. These were very comfortably furnished, had a large terrace and a wonderful view on Puerto Rico and the sea.
If you don't have a rental car has, the stairs to the beach can be very difficult. The choice of food was large, but the quality mediocre at best. read more

It was with security not the last time... I was already the third time in this hotel. The taxi costs 2.80 to amadores beach straight. Fun to walk down, then not more so much high ☺ . I can highly recommend this hotel to people, the more einigemaßen well to foot. The stairs are a nightmare, but a ' sports 'challenge. The 'lift' is the more comfortable alternative. read more
