We had two standard room, were allowed us in but choose, whether we the standard rooms having a suite. We took the suite with two double beds, and 2 flat-screen tvs, bathroom with jacuzzi. Rooms are furnished nicely but unfortunately leaves the cleaning to be desired. In 14 days was not 1 time the toilet cleaned and the mirror in the bathroom from the previous guests still the edge zahnpasterflecken, with our departure still were available. The outside area very well-kept like the rest of from the hotel. read more

    Well equipped, also the beds very comfortable. As already mentioned the cleaning should be a bit better. The suites, as well as the standard rooms very big and nice. Toilet not cleaned.

    There is 1 restaurant not enough choice for 5 stars, also here big problems me russian guests bad eating manners sickening, get the scoop from the pan and in the mouth and back into the pan (ekelhaft). The queue didn't work for you, take you just a spoon from the hand. This would have lots to say, but since one would have to write a book. 1 italian restaurant we did not use it since the beverages paying extra are, as mentioned booked all inclusive.

    As good as no german is spoken, exception the front desk. All speak perfectly russian! With complaints or ask reacted immediately. Unfortunately, the all-inclusive not very special for example at the pool bar fruit (apples, bananas and oranges) were offered the item to 3 Dollar this is something i have never experienced, and we are every year 3 time in Egypt. For the cobra show we have already several times have seen (gratis) request here 10 Euro per person. This really is amazing and so on.

    Pools and beach very clean and nicely laid out, only drawback construction on the complex the does not look beautiful. No lärmbelästig by construction, aircraft and so on. Especially good we found the entertainment (hamza was always funny and friendly) they were absolutely not intrusive.

    The beach is very nice and clean. But everywhere only russians to the the loungers and if one its couch time leaves, it comes before the later the loungers missing. At least 80% russians their behavior everywhere noticeable (horrible!). Shops nearby. Transfer about 25 minutes. The new district is very nice.

I visited this hotel twice before and every time I make sure it's the best choice. This time I travelled with my daughter of 6 years and my sister. We were really happy to spend 9 days in Old Palace. everything was exellent - room was big and cozy in the same time and always clean. Restaurant surprised us with big number of dishes different every day and very tasty. But the most important thing is stuff. All they are very friendly, always ready to help. I would recommend this hotel for everybody, I'm pretty sure nobody will be disappointed. ... And as for me if I come to Hurgada once more I will not hesitate about choice of the hotel. read more

it was a memorable vacation! we had a great time with the animation team! bravo for what they are, and we applaud! animators have been with us from morning to night, even in the restaurant did not pass without their attention, I am surprised to read the negative comments about the animation! namely Annie, Rafik, the people who will do anything to stay was great!l and do not post any stupid! thanks for the good memories! read more

The old palace resort is a neatly arranged, well-planned resort located directly on the beautiful beach. It has a large fresh water swimming pool (unfortunately not heated) with bar for pool and beach. Furthermore it has a small heated fresh water swimming pool with massage jets and a small bar. For everyone enough possibilities your vacation to make, whether peace searching or active. Cleanliness in the hotel was always alright and the maintenance of the gardens was constantly working. At the time of our stay the hotel was fully occupied with a guest structure of about 45% german and 55% ... Eastern Europe. read more

    We had a double room-superior with a view of the sea booked, but were given a chalet (?!). This room was very spacious and had a shower, bathtub, toilet, bidet, good king size bed, large lcd tv, iron and ironing board and iron, good hair dryer, safe, small refrigerator, kettle, scales and balcony. Only the closet could have been a bit bigger. Cleanliness and laundry change has always ok.

    In the hotel there is a main restaurant (buffet ) for breakfast-, lunch and dinner. Quality, selection and taste was always good; it was also always refilled. For cleanliness and hygiene, great attention put. The constructional by design of the restaurant (main room, niches and outdoor area with a terrace) could everyone after its needs culling. Then there is still another italian-à-la-carte-restaurant (against an extra charge); there were the selected main courses under the eyes of the guest freshly prepared; were both taste and optically very good. At the pool-/beach bar there were snacks and afternoon ice cream.

    The 'pool' was always friendly and tried the guests great service to offer, without obvious expectation of tip. We had the impression, that within of the staff (hierarchy) a good working climate was which for the guests very pleasant is; we had completely different experienced. With english and russian you got always along. Requests were as far as possible immediately fulfilled; We had no complaints. In addition to the hotels compulsory kundenzufriedenheitsabfragen of the guests by questionnaire invited the management also a week to a meeting with the guests a, in the personal conversation about ideas, wishes to improve etc. The happiness of the guests to optimize; shows proximity and interest in guest.     The distance to the airport/place hurghad is approximately 18 kilometer. The old palace is located in a beautiful bay directly on the beautiful endless sandy beach. On both sides are extensive walks on the beach also without bath shoes possible without any restrictions imposed by other hotels; open bay and available for each. Particularly beautiful and for us and has never seen a very nicely laid out and upgraded promenade around the entire bay. The bicycle rental at the hotel (per wheel and hour 5 Dollar) the bay to the promenade from about 12 kilometer (will hopefully be further developed) leave and explore. If you are not cycling will also has the possibility as e-bikes or beach shuttle from other providers for a fee (price?) To use. Right next to the old palace is the beautifully landscaped Piazza with stunning architecture and lit water games in the center; place to stay a while and enjoy. There are shops in the hotel or to the left along the promenade.

All in all a somewhat older, however well maintained hotel with directly at the beach. We have booked all inclusive and there was really everything that you could want, from Original Coke until the afternoon cakes and coffee. Most guests are however to about 80% russians. read more

    We were lucky and got one of the freshly renovated room. There was a beautiful enough big bath with a bath and walk-in shower (with rain shower). The furniture were all new, there was a large flat picture television with three german programs, a mini bar in which daily a liter dasani water provided, a kettle with various teas and coffee, a telephone and of course an airco. We were on the ground floor and had access to a small terrace to the room belonged. In addition there was an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer in the closet.

    The hotel has a large main restaurant for all the guests with daily changing food from the buffet. I can the people not understand the food as good and bad, it was not at all. You should already know that the food typical of the country and some different tastes! For those who prefer french fries and hamburgers, drives best to the nearest McDonald's. However, if you bread, soft cheese, fresh salad, rice or even chicken from the grill like, is right at home here. Also during the meal times are the staff very hard, you get on request the drinks which one wanted. The atmosphere resembles inside reserved restaurant area from the volume floodwaters was rather like a cafeteria, we preferred to of the terrace food where it really is a pleasant atmosphere was. Next to the main restaurant there was still an a la carte restaurant, which we didn't use.

    From the service i was personally very impressed. The hotel staff were always friendly and could german and good english. The rooms were every day perfect clean. For my birthday there was even a black forest gateau given ☺. Al we on the first day after the long journey for the first time the shower used we noticed, that the water not correctly drawn down (it was one of the freshly renovated room), this small problem was in a flash fixed, we really was amazed at how light how hard the staff with your work and these have visibly happiness!

    The beach was really beautiful and especially clean. Most of the beach chairs had a umbrella with wind protection. Annoying were the ' only russian speaking animation mornings loud roaring for urge and in the afternoon to darts.

    The hotel lies at the edge of Hurghada in sahl hasheesh, the positive thing thing is, that you are in a quiet area and not the direct hauptstraßenverkehrslärm has. Negative that there are a few kilometers to the next shops are. The hotel features 2-3 small shops (a type of kiosk, a jewellery and a parfümgeschäft ) which we didn't make use of. The guests i recommend not overpriced taxi service from the hotel to use! A way to the senzo mall costs where 18 €, but we do have a passing taxi from the street and for a ride 5 €paid (always negotiate the price beforehand)

This hotel you can recommend a lot - the staff is super friendly, speaks generally also a little german, english in any case-our requests were all promptly erledigit, complaints were taken care of immediately. Daily the room was cleaned - including wäschetausch. read more

Was a lovely week. Despite the hotel i would rather only stars rate. It were here and there but some what a star hotel not met. The most negative: there were 80% russians, the alcohol in the morning already reinkippten and unpleasant noticed. read more

During our 1 week stay in a Nile-cruise were very satisfied with the hotel. The proportion of east europeans was about 70% to 30%, according to the manager it should from july 50/50 are. A very nice hotel with great bathing beach. We always got a beach chair without, reserve' The complex is well arranged. A promenade for walking, cycling, is available. read more

We were very satisfied... The staff was polite and very attentive... The complex was very tidy and well equipped... We would this hotel/recommend this hotel... There is also no hotel where you have to think, that there is a mass processing facilitities are, there this hotel with its scarce 300 rooms very intimate decor... We spend a wonderful short break for good value for money. For all the peace and quiet find suitable. Long walks in the beautiful bay, with bicycle or scooter possible. Several small reefs for snorkelling available. Pleasantly surprised we were from the variety the food at all times. read more

    We specially enjoyed the large selection of bread both in the morning and evening. Different creations in the composition of the ingredients, white bread, dark bread (but no whole wheat bread), sometimes with a few grains, as well as the presentation itself. The selection of food was good and very tasty.

    Noticeable is with very good and functioning devices equipped, and air-conditioned gym. Also the diversity the equipment is impressive and we have still not on holiday in Egypt, Tunisia or Turkey found. The distance to the equipment of a 'german gym' is not very far. The massage is also recommendable. Actually nothing exciting. To criticize was however, that artists, in the lobby there are, most likely in the weekly pop. For guests like us, the two weeks were on site, a bit exhausting, especially, if you're not on violinist or a singer is, the attempt to the quiet chanson more rüber.

    We specially enjoyed the existing seafront after 'german model', as for holidays especially from holidays in Grömitz knows. It is possible, on the existing beach about minutes walk the 'small centre sahl-hasheesh' to reach. For Egypt it is very unusual, as usually the beach entrances in private beach chairs. It is noteworthy, that you on the whole place not a public taxi-these are in the sperrbezirk'sahl-hasheesh' simply not allowed. Public taxis must passengers only after sahl-hasheesh bring, but no ' beginners' officially carry forward. A hotel for those seeking peace (at least at this time of the year-january)

Not too big all-inclusive hotel in silent beach location. Everything very clean, very tasteful. The guest structure was very mixed in all age groups and various european nations. Number of russians quite acceptable. One recognizes it immediately, not more as previously, by the nature of the food and drink orders, however rather the outfit. The men with ausgebeulten jogginghosen, muscle-shirts and flip-flops around, no matter what time of day it is, women remind rather of the ladies the straßenstrichs in the german-czech border. You found the 'chic', the name 'cheap' would be more appropriate. read more

    We had a 62 square meter large chalet-rooms, the no wishes offenließ. It was in a separate building secluded from main house. Minibar, safe, a huge bathroom, a large flat screen tv, it wasn't missing anything, cleanliness brilliant.

    There was a large buffet, and a a la carte italian. As all-inclusive guest you can this advance notification once per stay. We ate all meals on the terrace restaurant. There was very quiet and you were exempted from geschirrklapperei and the general usual noise level. The presentation of the food was very attractive. Even if you definitely not a big fan of the egyptian kitchen is, you will always find something, what a tastes. Lots of guests criticized the waiting times with the drinks.     The hotel is directly at the fine sandy beach, a beach promenade leads through the visible place. Shops, pharmacies, restaurants, all in fußläufigkeit available. It is thank god not a huge facility as some other hotels (which we as part of our excursions also with the bus started)! It is very clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly! Our stay from 24-2-2013 until 3-3-2013 in the old palace was only pleasure. The very friendly staff anticipated the wishes of the eyes and tried immediate fulfilment. Mr p. and his team are around the hour there for the guests. The kitchen is excellent and very varied, also the beverages. Our room was beautiful and generously furnished, the service excellent. 80% russians, 10% arabs, rest of the europeans. Meal monotonously, service in the outdoor area frueh. /lunch/evening Rude, then after inside, it was much better.     There was the main restaurant (buffet) and an italian à la carte restaurant (which was always empty, the waiter had to also at the beach advertising to make). No direct shower at the beach, but the stairs to the large pool to reach. Spa center very recommendable i and my daughter very probably with the massage felt.     I want to thank the team of animators that made ​​me laugh every day. they have played with my kid and gave positive emotions despite the fatigue. They did an amazing job to make guests had fun.
