The location and orientation our room with a direct view of the sea was perfect. The large windows let the views! For breakfast they offer all you could ask for. The coffee but you could improve. Unfortunately cost the offered safe, as well as bathrobe charges.
The hotel's location is very peaceful. The evening entertainment varied. read more

Nice, large room with a seating area, a sofa and a small kitchenette. Balcony with a great sea view. Hotel 2011 renovated, everything very clean. We booked half board, the food was night in the morning very plentiful and delicious. In the winter mostly older guests.

Great right next to the sea located hotel, what with the prospect could points. The whole complex makes a tidy impression. The booked breakfast buffet was-with the exception of the terrible coffee-good.
The rooms are massive, very modern and attractively decorated. It is since the last renovation not long ago. Recommendable is on Madeira a rental car. read more

A very nice hotel with very hospitable pleasant staff.
The buffets to the breakfast and dinner were varied and diverse.
At this time of the year it was a wonderful vacation been. The room more view of the sea
Was surprisingly large. The whole hotel makes a very good impression.
A small comment on the edge - sauna with swimsuits without towels that is unacceptable.
Maybe help the times a few small signs and comments of the staff.

We had the hotel in connection with a trip over gebeco booked. Altogether we were 10 days on Madeira and can't say anything negative.
The hotel is modern and recommendable, but hardly a personal touch. Of all rooms ( except ground floor) you have at least lateral view of the sea. Because of a technical problem we had to the room change and we were two alternative -top. If you at the booked food not participate, is lunch box or food in the room possible. In immediate vicinity there is a small sand -, as well as pebble beach, to ... the hotel includes a diving platform. For shopping there is nothing locally, you have to to Funchal. Foods are available. Outward food is possible, but also limited. Typical local food again in Funchal.
During the day we were not in the hotel, because we hiking were. Gebeco as organizers we can absolutely recommend, as it completely carefree was. The tours were demanding and covered the entire spectrum the island from. read more

The hotel is easy-care and energy-saving laid out. That means everywhere only sharp energy saving lamps, no flowers, no table cloths (also in the culture and bar area), apart from that however recommendable. Cheap in addition to the public bus regular free hotel bus to Funchal and the immediate access to the atlantic ocean with pools ( even for children). Bathing shoe definitely required. Rental car at least for a few days recommendable, the many hiking and destinations on the island to reach. read more

Had a room on the 5th floor with a view of the sea, beautiful views. Have foreign and indoor swimming pool, as well as sauna used. Everything very reasonable. meerein /exit stairs and haltestrick possible nearby you can also easy to enter. No beach. We had over rhomberg 5 hikes booked. This were very good organized and you can a lot of the island see. From the hotel there is free shuttle bus to Funchal, after registration. Here you can good go on excursions and shopping. Public transportation also close to the hotel. In Funchal definitely the markets visit, Monte ... with tropical garden, botanical garden, cable cars, korbschlitten etc. Plants are unique in its variety. Since we the east the island more maze have, we have the west side with a bus tour experienced. You can everywhere book. Eating and drinking in the very good hotel. Although the dishes not very seasoned, but that everyone could do. Everything was there. Around a succesful vacation. read more

Recently renovated hotel with about rooms. Very nice, well maintained garden area with salt water pool and access to the beach promenade. Hotel, room and outside area very clean. You can both room with breakfast, as well as half board book. If you only breakfast bay you can individually, if you evenings no longer wanted to leave, the half board against payment daily basis to book. Very good was the getränkemenü for dinner with the half-board. For 4,50 Euro you can drink whatever you wanted, and as much one would like, but only in the dining room. The types ... of people are too many German, English, dutch, spanish, portuguese and some eastern europeans. The average age ranges from middle twenty to eighty. In our travel were no families with children there. read more

Big hotel with many rooms, so that the meal times in a loud dining room/ atmosphere as cafeteria have to be taken. The food tastes actually every day and not enough seasoning. Who can, should without half board book and the nearby located restaurants use.
The safe is extra will be charged with 2,50 Euro per day, what in other hotels long offered free of charge.
In the evening echoed loud music (2 man band) through the corridors, so that one only after 23 o'clock to the peace can get.
Positively mentioned should be would be the nearby (10 ... minutes on foot) diving Manta diving, where you wonderful diving experience.

The hotel makes thanks to the renovation a really new impression. It is a small complex, with a pool, small wellness area, German guests are in the minority, there are many English- and portuguese/spanish speaking guests. Little families. Average age perhaps about 40 - is however mixed. read more

Big recently renovated hotel (over 200 room) belongs to the four view hotel-chain. Architecture is reminiscent of 80/90. Years. Altogether well maintained condition. Bookable with breakfast or half board. Furthermore, a la carte - restaurant. Guest structure: often older people (partly in groups), sometimes frail and with high body weight. Origin: England, Holland, Germany, France, few portuguese and east europeans. read more

Hotel makes from the outside already outdated impression, but inside everything to the finest renovated. Guests too many older English, partly German, dutch and also a few russians. Enough big room, furniture in the rooms activity options at this hotel by the pool everything new. Loungers by the pool always enough. Who Island of Madeira bay, which is well known, that there are no sandy beaches. Except 2 artificial laid out white sand beaches and these are only by car reachable. The beaches are somewhat unusually, since only large rock. There are teiltweise artificial laid out Betonstege everywhere with stairs and ropes, in the Atlantic to arrive.
To the island exploration, we recommend the hiring of a car' s. we had this in advance of olimar and received in Funchal europcar without any problems our car Renault Clio. The hotel runs daily the capital Funchal with a small bus and it ... is therefore not a problem to get there.
Because we for one week a little more travel group in the hotel had, was the volume in the dining room somewhat higher, which even the staff problem prepared. This can be but not negative review be used.
Coffee in the morning always freshly cooked from the coffee machines. There the island no water process must, also tasted the coffee and you even the drink the tap water. In the room is a small fridge and a kettle. There is massages-, Cosmetics and Friseurmöglichkeiten. A small library, you must be the suitcase so not to go on. Evenings always a small musical entertainment. Wednesday was always bar-B-queue, just great.
The hotel is a very good state, there last year everything has been done. Chairs are by the pool always available and to a few exceptions, was no reservations.

A very nice hotel, right next to the sea with very nice large modern rooms. The hotel is 2009/2011 newly opened. Everything is on latest standard, beautiful tiles without (!) mold joints, led and energy saving lamps, flat tv with 4 German programs. The pool seems a bit small, however more than adequate. Every evening live music and entertainment. Animation isn't available, however also not necessary. There were more couples in the hotel as large families. Very pleasant, if you without children wanted to travel, but nevertheless child-friendly. Strong praise of me the staff. From the restaurant to the room ... service all great staff and very friendly and accommodating. The beach is rocky and not really for swimming suitable, but there is a staircase into the sea, a kind of bridge over the lake and the front you can into the sea. Only for swimmer suited!
By myself in any case a recommendation, whereby the island not really a spa encircling is. Would stay here again I also, but only in 10 years. I have seen everything, very nice but is so large the island not. The rental car is worthwhile, you should definitely the coastal roads to drive. For Fotoliebhaber wonderful Motives.

HCLFHL. And for the rental car: the rental car are used, and some also a bit dirty. (4 to 5 years and 40 tonnes to 60 t kilometer since there were only the note 4 and the prices are not really cheap. Makes Sense in Germany to book. read more
