Hotel in the centre on Interlaken, close to Interlaken West railway station. So shopping etc are very easy. However, the two nights we stayed there, the outside noise was unbearable ( loud music till maidnight and the people's noises outside till very early in morning. Could not sleep very well. The hotel room is spacious and furniture and bath room fittings are very old. The staff are very friendly and helpful. read more

Front desk staff had at the arrival printer and PC problems, but to react flexibly. However, it took quite long. The actually beautiful, and quiet-room service was not yet cleaned, when we wanted to move around 14:15 (obviously had a herd of pigs is gehaust-I have never seen such a thing). The staff was still busy with the room next door, where also at the first glance to see, that a herd of pigs gehaust there. When we arrived at 17:30 from the first paths and drinking course came back, the room was spotless. The only thing that ... bothered me, the brownish stains on the white upholstered chairs. This should probably be professional cleaned or replaced by less sensitive chairs. read more

The hotel is a very small hotel --looks like converted from a house . Breakfast ----is lousy . Rooms are not upto the mark read more

    We had been to Europe ( France ,Austria and Switzerland ) during the months of June and July . Out of all the places where we had stayed ( in Cannes , Chamonix , Interlaken , Luzern and Istanbul ) the hotel in Interlaken was of very low quality and we were surprised with the kind of behavior experienced by us from from the hotel staff and Manager 1, The room decor was atrocious 2.The furnitue was unpolished in many places 3. The bed was generating creaking sound throughout the night 4. Very poorly ventilated 5.The basin bottom rack was totally cracked 6.Even the towels supplied had 'nice' holes in it . When we complained about these to hotel they showed typical arrogance -- meaning 'take it or leave it '. Since the hotel was already prepaid we could not afford to leave it and during the peak season alternative arrangement would have been difficult
