Great hotel really gorgeous location! Since the completion of 2012 we finally in koggala, one of the most beautiful beaches of sri lanka, a modern and equipped hotel, after the koggala beach a bit dated and now also being renovated. Only a couple of steps to the sea - at night one hears the waves of the indian ocean waves- wirklci exceptionally beautiful! read more

Comfortable hotel and come back, so very lots of regular guests in the whole complex (long beach, koggala beach and club koggala village) from many countries. The guests here are international, and without consultation, as everywhere on the world. Age structure was mixed. Unique helpfulness of the staff in all areas. Large friendliness. Doctor, if necessary is always available. (definitely take out a travel insurance! German health insurance pay nothing, there not european union) Competent management in all of the problems. (notorious nörgler gives it everywhere!) Legitimate flaws, if they occur, are fast repaired. Rich buffet. Very good room service. ... Daily laundry and towel change. Cleanliness was' large ' written. Daily cleaning the pools. Garden and rasenanlage also very clean. Location directly on the indian ocean. Broad beach. Strong surf, therefore only for good swimmers. Alternatively a few minutes away, by a coral reef protected beach. The so-called 'bath'. It is very popular. No obtrusive beach boys at the beach. All in all, in this hotel you feel safe and comfortable. That was in the past sunday We are regular guests and were also during the war years in this complex. In february we are older and time again here. read more

The hotel lies directly at a very nice beach. Behind the hotel there is a railway line, which we however not disturbing, on the contrary. The entire hotel is very neat. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The food tasted good. The restaurant is located directly by the sea. Also the all inclusive drinks were reasonable. Wifi is in the whole hotel free of charge available. read more

The hotel is right on the main street and the railway line, which means traffic noise and half-hourly zugsignale. The hotel is mainly by russians and ukrainians occupied, this is the general quality down. Binge drinking and rioting are agenda. The food in the hotel i can definitely not recommend. The good indian cuisine is reflected here not again. Uninspired menus, uniformity, unlovingly presented. The waiters is friendly but incompetent. Nice, well-kept beach-nice pool, well-kept complex - unfortunately directly beside a ruin, which is obviously the tsumami come from and just being rebuilt-so construction noise! read more

Wifi is available free of charge, computer jobs can for a nominal fee. The guests are on the average age was very mixed. There is very little german, a few french and english. At least 80% of the guests at the time of our stay, there were russians, through their manners and behavior unfortunately often our, as well as the nerves of the hotel's.     The standard rooms have a sufficient size. The room decor is simple and typical for the country. There is a small crt tv, a kettle, hair dryer, telephone and air conditioning. Every room has a terrace respectively a balcony. We had a room with a patio and beautiful sea views. These so to book, is definitely recommendable. The bathroom is small, but it has a large shower and stylish furnished.

    There is several restaurants and bars the hotel. The quality and quantity of the dishes as a part of the buffets can very well be evaluated. The staff also here very attentive and friendly. The restaurant manager will take for every guest daily time, to the satisfaction with the food to ask. The kitchen is typical of the country. There is furthermore theme nights (for example italian, fish.).

    The service in the hotel can very well be evaluated. The staff all areas were always friendly and attentive, always had an ear to lend for questions and problems. Great communication was always in english language. Many staff could also speak a little german. The cleaning of the rooms cleaned daily by the cleaning staff, which also otherwise as contact person for all interests with great pleasure available stands.

The hotel can be recommended without hesitation. However were in december circa 90% ukrainian guests there. Further description whose behavior - particularly in the restaurant - is probably redundant. Should it not change, still less european guests book. The location of the hotel and kilometer-long, very clean beach compensate for the small inadequacies. The water is very clean and there is great waves. For christmas opened in the hotel a à la carte restaurant. This took the quality in the main restaurant rapidly from. The wellness area is needs improvement. For the, the beach and sun like, the hotel is an absolute dream: beautiful beach about 100 meters away from the hotel. Also are at the beach enough sunbeds available-it should therefore no everyday 'fight' give. There are in the immediate vicinity, not many attractions, but if you want to Sri Lanka want to see, must anyway one at least 2-3 day trip. There are directly next to the hotel local german tour guide, the these trips for cheap prices offer. read more

At night beautiful, but on the day rather average! Large spacious hotel, wi-fi worked great, cleanliness was okay, guest structure all-inclusive!     Great beach situation on one, but busy street other side, works however not disturbing, train tracks, and trains... But rather romantic not disturbing Excursions could be directly in front of the hotel with the tuk tuk drivers review, or at the beach with the beach boys!     Directly on a long sandy beach, unfortunately very out of the way. Behind the hotel runs the main street and the railway line. Around in the next city (bile) to come one must the local bus or a tuk tuk. About 30 minutes. Who not in the hotel essen to little choice in the fußnahen area.

The hotel is located very lonely at the southernmost tip of sri lanka. It is very romantic and many flitterwochenpaare have checked in. The hotel offers romantic candelight dinner on the beach and so on the hotel lies directly at the beach and it is amazing place to relax and tan, as there was always a light breeze. Besides beach and sea but there is no infrastructure to find. The next small store is two miles away, the next city (bile ) approximately 15 kilometers. The town has nothing to offer except a few food markets. A trip there isn't ... recommendable. Worth seeing is a whale and dolphin boat trip from maresha (about 20 minutes with the tuk tuk from the hotel) from. It was really an experience. All other attractions of sri lanka are very far away, so you get a extra tour of 2a 3 days companies must. read more

Recommendable hotel with very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Starting time to the hotel: about, hours ( definitely the highway use! Costs only 400 rupees! Apart from that 4,5 hours arrival). Directly at the beach. Strong stream during the monsoon. Swimming is possible, swim not really. Very good: beach boys are not directly at the hotel ( security)! Definitely again! read more

The hotel has been freshly renovated and clean. The location is a dream! We could directly from the room on the one hand to the beach and on the other page to the pool. We spent a week in long beach Res. And were very impressed by the hospitality in the hotel. The rooms were always extremely clean. All wishes were immediately fulfilled and the airport pick-up worked. Wi-Fi was free and worked well. It was a lot of emphasis on small details put. So was the flower arrangements in the restaurant always extravagantly beautiful. Other hotels as only a Grünlilie to offer. read more

As the ' new built comfort hotel four stars' announced long beach koggala, is, in my opinion, a bad renovated old building with ** stars. The furniture in the room consists of unclean lattenähnlichen furniture. The doors fit the seal and construction in a henhouse. Laundry and cleaning of the rooms was only after repeated please instead. The neueWäsche was stained and smelled. The dining room was uncomfortable and very dirty. Five building, three of them with rooms with a view of the sea, cIRCA 30 rooms per building. rooms are daily thoroughly cleaned, all inclusive, no entertainment, guests mostly from Europe( Dutch, French, German, Russians), average about 50 years. read more

    after Galle between 30 and 50 minutes. Koggala in walking distance. from the airport Colombo via normal driveways 6 hour, via highway 2-3 hour, the costs (circa 3a 4 euros) are charged. On airport already definitely the driver instructions! also from bentota, you can still on the highway drive.
