Great Island, nice hotel!

We love the Greek Islands especially from April to June. Travel time therefore May/ June on Naxos we have all the found, what a successful holiday expect: pleasant accommodation, nice Holidayers and Compatriots!, as well as an influence on scenic and cultural lots to discover ( rental car), nice taverns. Seamelia Beach: small complex with a pool and very clean rooms ( mini kitchen to the preparation smaller meals were sufficient: supermarket 300 meters, mini market 80 meters) => if necessary after upper floors questions, since souterrain room are available! Small shortcoming for the average, privatspäreliebenden German by everywhere and ... nowhere visible balcony:-) We have the informal atmosphere in the Spiros however very appreciated. The very attractive and well-maintained hotel with pool is centrally located and quiet, only 100 meters from the nice and long sandy beach Ag. Georgios away. There are numerous supermarkets and bars in the vicinity of the hotel. The bus stop toward Ag. Prokopios and Ag. Anna are only about 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is run by a very attentive, helpful and friendly family run, needs as far as possible. The rooms are very clean and features a balcony/terrace, some have sea view. Alternatively, also a buffet breakfast, the outside next to the pool. We felt very good. read more

Initially we booked only 2 days as we wanted to be sure about the environment. As the neighbourhood is quiet (no dancings etc) and as the manager and his mother do a nice job, we stayed there during the whole trip. Breakfast can be taken inside when it is cold or next to the pool. Lunches are not available. The swimming pool and the whole hotel is nice and clean. The architecture of the hotel is very attractive indeed; the photos on the hotels website are not fake. The room we stayed in was at the top of the new ... building (7 years old) with some sea view. The room was large, with a fridge and a small cooking area. A terrace with a small table is available to eat outside. read more

    The manager and his mother do a nice job, we stayed there during the whole trip. Each morning we were welcomed at the buffet breakfast with a smile and "Kalimera, how are you today?" Both speak enough English to respond at all your desires and give you a family atmosphere where you feel welcome. Also the cleaning personnel deserve good points: very friendly. The maps with touristic information are limited.

    The pool is not too large, but OK to have some swimming to cool down. It is rather deep for kids that can't swim yet. The wather was very clean.
