    Tara restaurant was low. Food small and quality to earlier far sunk. Prices were anyway for Thailand way too high. But earlier has just the quality fit. Breakfast alright. Bacon is now also rather heated to the eggs but it was reasonably. Thai buffet was really alright, but also no vergtleich to earlier.

    Diminished. Room cleaning was perfect. Front desk rather lau, we were there for the 6. time. Rather release after principle 0815. That was different. Air conditioning was after complaining relatively quickly repaired, only was our room for 2 hours completely open and accessible!

Thus generally i must say it is a very nice hotel it was very much air upward has. The hotel is wonderfully integrated into the landscape, many steps and paths from the beach to high to the front desk ( 88 steps and approximately 100 meters uphill), but you knew that before when you are on. For breakfast could have been a bit more sausage selection offer, because there was daily only 2 types of sausage and 2 sorts of cheese, which many bit was. The quality however was very good and we liked it. They had fruit, dessert, sausage ..., cheese, bread, drinks, sushi, chocolate, cereals and smoothies, its own fridge, there was never much, but it was always refilled briskly, what a a good feeling there was. In 2. warm room, there were omelets, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, hot waffles, soup ( freshly prepared), vegetables, pasta, rice and warm wüsrtchen. Pool daily around 2 to 3 h cleaned. We were always the sea water pool below at the beach, since we very simple the way to the fresh water swimming pool to was hard. Only after the breakfast in the 2. week i am 1 hour, as purely and it was likewise a dream. Mango was the beach cleaning. On the first 3 days and em last day was cleaned, in between was a great deal on the shoreline of shoes, over bottles, wood, clothing and cords. We understood there were enough staff was there for this every day to clean. The new star resort and fairhouse was considerably more on the ball. Next suggestion would be clear the evening entertainment. The complex is so nice and is really great, there was also a nice beach bar, but in the evening is there nothing nada njiente. No music, no entertainment at not a day in the 14 days. Understands't get me wrong. We need no animation, but a little music in the evening at least 2 times the week would the hotel good. Oh and the prices! Aso we were now the 4 time in Thailand always af another island, but this hotel was by far the most expensive. Lunch started fats all the guests the new star of the beach bar and there ir beer or soft drinks in/out privileges! We had to due to health reasons in the evening 2 times in the hotel eat. The food itself was perfect however way too expensive. That is always like that, we know here the prices extremely high. The biggest cou is probably the happy hour. You have to 2 mal the same immediately order and you get the 3. same in addition given. The we had not so ever. Normal is 2 for the price of one, or? Absolutely great the room cleaning, the is 2 times per day, even with a change of towels and making the beds, also on the day of departure where we the room for 1000 Bath until 20 o'clock could use were the beds made and the towels were changed. Conclusion great hotel with a nice location and dream garden area, you can absolutely recommend. However, we wouldn't book any more because the 14 days stairs several times daily with knee problems very hard to leave and us the prices too expensive were, since we in the evening also gladly times in the hotel eat. read more

We were 2009 already once in this hotel and it was clear, that we a 2. there again. A few things have changed. There was new beach chairs and umbrellas and, in addition, now sun shells. The tara restaurant very nice red transformed. We then had breakfast, since the current breakfast room well remodeled/renovated. The Sky Lounge on the tara was unfortunately not usable; we assume, that the changes to come. Our room (junior suite) and the view were again a dream. The whole hotel area and the beach are great neat. Left from the beach there were small cookshops. ... Right from the beach there was 2-3 small restaurants, which are no longer here. A larger bar with essmöglichkeit available. Still, as already described several times, there are plenty of restaurants in the town itself. But we mostly in the evening very good with fantastic view on the sea tara ate. It was sometimes very good; we have often a table in the outdoor area arranged. Yes, outside in the town is cheaper but too expensive we found it also not and we wanted the ambience. The beach seems sometime had been poured to be. It appeared to us also, as if they are no longer the depth of then. Climate change was felt everywhere. In the 14 days we had to 11 days the red, at two days the yellow, and one day the green flag outside. If you Thailand knows, knows that a wetterumschwung as soon as he came, also gone again. But was the sea the whole time very rude. A few days we were also with the in the room available standing umbrellas for dinner on the way. But it is warm rain ☺ there are still the cheap hotel bus to Chaweng. Roundtrip costs for two persons 200 Bhat. He drives once per hour and you have to just half an hour before and register to let. The staff is super friendly, helpful, even carefully. Unlike on that occasion, the internet now free and you get with the welcome drink immediately password syndromal. Wi-fi with our iPad everywhere in the hotel worked very well, also to the beach. The hotel was multi kulti occupied. Therefore, there are also a huge breakfast. For each continent is something for everyone. We are at nationalities chinese (the new year), japanese, korean, australians, canadians, portuguese, italian, french, Sweden, austrians, swiss, and german met. There were also lots of families with small children there. This was for us everything not a problem dar. On valentine's day, there was a buffet at the beach. Unlike at the time, there were in the 14 days no animation, which we amongst others on the stormy, very volatile weather, especially in the afternoon and evening brought have. We found the but also not bad. I had in the vacation birthday and was from the hotel with a cake with burning candles surprised. Yes, the hotel is outdated but i give 6 suns, as there are no little flair lost and we now after four years to say could, that constantly investment, the standard. read more

    If i could, i would more than six suns. One was always make an effort, any wish to fulfill. It was good, understandable english spoken and i expect no german language. At additional services we have the laundry service of the hotel use. We once had the clothes already in the evening, when the 2. the next day perfect back. And cheap it was. There were no complaints. The hotel features golf Cars. Mostly these to transport the new guests/luggage use. We have in the middle, between lobby and lower area used. If a golf car-drivers without people liked, we were always asked, whether it was with the of lobby to carry forward can.

    Several times were the many stages of the hotel to the beach or to lobby called or criticized. I understand the complaints not, because it is in the catalog or for hotel description on the internet. We have taken a sporting. It was built at the slope. To the airport it was only 20 minutes. To Chaweng you can travel approximately 10 minutes. Chaweng is madly loud and the peaceful hotel an evening a nice change.

We stayed due to a power outage on the whole island an upgrade to this hotel offered, as there is a private electricity generator has. Originally we had booked the imperial boathouse samui, which was beautiful. To visit the hotel, we immediately decided. We were a room in the front house allocated (near the beach), from the balcony we had a wonderful view on the water. Get yourself out of the hotel and had no complaints. The staff would have friendly and helpful not and everything was very tidy and clean. read more

    The restaurant we never tested. On the first evening we were surprised, that evening ' 24 hours' no people for a drink at the beach bar make no mistake. After reading the bill received, we knew why. Double the price as the bars in the center, i found quite steep. Ok... The steps may also play a role. However i also during the day very few people at the bar seen. Also the restaurant asphyxiated not formally in work. I think at the pricing policy may you do a little work. The breakfast was quite rich, but quality not brilliant. Waffles if available or french toast were in larger quantities prefab, were thus not freshly baked. Therefore, we could the bland and limp tasting things well as rubber balls use. The food in Khao Lak was clearly better, no matter wether in the hotel or in the villages. I think Khao Lak has clearly fewer tourists, so more emphasis on quality respected. We had the advantage of people to know, which live there. We have therefore spot and restaurants found, which our opinion above wound have.

    The steps will increase the distance to the beach clearly. One should well consider oneself, whether one really everything packed has. A mofa (150 Bath) was so important, to the left it direction Lamai, sure worth a visit. To the right you can reach Chaweng fast and fun, but also very loud. Night life there is each quantity. I liked it particularly much, the jungle with the motorcycle to explore. Violent upward gradients, naturstraßen, militärsperrgebiete lonely restaurants in the middle in the mountains. Unfortunately we have this vacation not much. Breakfast was a disaster. Fruits of small mosquitos and never fresh, meat was watered down by the ice, bread, everything was in the same chilled room. ( there was 2 rooms). Everything but appetizing. Room and bathroom were the only the case was. Large bright and clean. The towels and towels were full of holes and stains. The employees shall abgefärbete dirty clothes. Pool look nice. If several persons in the pool are you can not swim. Of course the sea there, if the beach cleaned would! Pool bar nobody from the guests ... present as no ambiance is. The very small bar at the beach always closed. Front desk of the hotel friendly. The hotel has nowhere in the lobby there is a bar where you in the evening a nightcap can take. This was unfortunately no ideal choice after all the good reviews. Unfortunately for our 2 weeks, were in Karibik better service. read more

The hotel is located on a hillside and is located in a great tropical garden and is of a straightforward size (no hotel bunker, however rather smaller units). You can tell, that it is not a new hotel acts, but it is not run-down or in poor condition-everything very tidy and clean. The guests came from all over the world: asian, italian, french, german, english etc.. Very pleasant guests, hardly any children. read more

    We had only booked accomodation and breakfast. Breakfast is certainly not comparable with german breakfast, there was little choice bread, sausage and cheese - but: but i will not to Thailand! We found the breakfast great-there were many dishes typical of the country (like for instance asian soup), great fruit, eggs in any form (has been newly for the guests cooked to order) and the breakfast room had a brilliant atmosphere: outward open, great decor... We once in the hotel dinner: there were local and international cuisine. The food was very good, but of course more expensive than in the restaurants outside the hotel.

    One is here always very welcome happened. Very friendly reception staff, for breakfast and so on in any european country we were so served in a friendly manner. My man had birthday and got (without, that we had organized) a cake with candles! The cleaning of the rooms was always top.

    Luckily there were no animation. The fresh water swimming pool in the upper part the hotel was almost always empty-so you could well swim, but it was always quite hot (the air stood there). The sea water pool at the beach is wonderful. The beach was always clean, there was brand new comfortable beach chairs (including) and always more than enough of which.

    Located directly at the beach, depending on the location of the room one in the tropical garden, stairs, go (was because of the lots of great plants but not difficult). Great fine sand beach, at which one long walks could. Right next to the hotel several small, local restaurants (great food), small supermarket, pharmacy... Also on the beach, there was a few small restaurants (5-10 minutes on foot), where one with the meal directly in the sand to sit. All other places are easily and quickly by taxi or pick-up to reach. The hotel offers a shuttle to Chaweng -very cheap, with vorbestellung. One point of criticism only, because one evening (to nice a cocktail or similar to drink) definitely drive somewhere must.

We were already in 2011 in imperial and we are of the opinion, it is still a bit better has become! The umbrella and chairs on the beach are renovated and the hotel beach section is new with sand filled up. As already often mentioned, the rooms are clean and the shower nice and big. Quality and quantity for breakfast were very praising to mention. The prices in the restaurant and the beach bar are too high, therefore we always outside the hotel eaten. In short: we will also 2013 to the Imperial Samui! read more

We can the most reviews and confirm that the staff are very friendly and competent is. Rooms are very nice and the location of the hotel thank god outside of mass tourism. We had a car lent and hoped if we in the hotel downstairs next to breakfast rent also is okay. Here it was more expensive, but caution please not rent. We have a Suzuki jeep get the in Germany the TÜV immediately shut down would have. So what should not rented will. I also find the prices in the restaurant of the hotel very questionable and absolutely überdeuert. ... Next door you get the eating and drinking for the half. GNP, in the minibar costs a coke 80 preye, next door to the market 15 asked. So hotel definitely recommendable, only some things are to improve. read more

This hotel is not recommendable for disabled people, since it lots of stairs from the reception to the beach and also to the individual rooms has. The view from my room was great with a view of the sea, the room always clean with fresh bed sheets and beach towels. The kitchen is excellent. read more

We were now the second time in this hotel and were once again very satisfied. It lies somewhat outside from Chaweng (on Noi beach) which for us very lain came. The rooms were clean and were always well cleaned. In the hotel it was quiet and if you have a little which experience is within 5 minutes with the hotel shuttle right in Chaweng. We had 'only' a standard room inclusive breakfast booked, which in our opinion more than adequate was. In nearby environment there are a lot of restaurants & bars. Recommendable is charming ( hotel and then approximately ... 300 meters right the road down) good and cheap food. The hotel is in a hillside and you have to some steps down to the beach and bottom pool get through with. The hotel is absolutely not for children and disabled suitable! We have a Thai evening joined in, but rather disappointing was. We have already better and the buffet food wasn't so great. Then there was still the German Retirees with their favorite sport. Beach chairs with towels early in the morning show! Yes, they are now to Thailand traveled to engage in sport. Best not to worry though, there are enough sunbeds for all. The management recruits the reserving of beach chairs forbidden, only it cares no. But as mentioned, there is more than enough beach chairs. All together, it was again a nice vacation and one can definitely recommend the hotel. read more

The hotel lies in a wonderful garden area. The garden a dream varied and very interesting., whether one for breakfast at the fresh water pool along or to the beach. A plants- and diversity of animals simply wonderful. No matter wether in the laid out ponds or the palms. We had a premier room booked it was very big and the bathroom only, a very large shower and a bathtub would have loosely '3-man' reingepast. Room amenities was very plush only the balcony furniture was not so great. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The location of the place I found really great, one is relatively fast in the shopping street of Chaweng. DS house offers an hourly Shuttletransport for 50 Baht at. The building itself is situated at Chaweng Noi, and a can very nice beach turf. It is also not built up, and quiet. The pool is very pretty with the original rocks designed. Also the restaurant is very tastefully decorated, but for Thai standards relatively expensive. The hotel complex as such is in a wonderful botanical garden integrated. I can the building in any case recommend. So-called Lame the house a ... bißerl a problem have, since there are many steps. The upper rooms are relatively large, but is the sea relatively far away. The lower rooms are small, one is closer at the sea. read more

A wonderful with older charm, but very clean - in a beautiful location the most beautiful beach section from Chaweng Noi. Very beautifully is also the saltwater pool directly at the beach - recommendable to relax respectively if the waves times are very high. There is generally also enough loungers, but there is unfortunately fellow human beings, which show a chair in the sun and a in the shade. Then it was enough not always! The hotel's restaurant ( for dinner) is relatively expensive, since you can find cheaper outside food; there are some restaurants, the over the beach to ... reach are. Can only be recommended in all respects as cleanliness. Food, friendliness eTC. Only prices somewhat overpriced. You can simply say if you're a great vacation! The only thing what I am not clear was why I could my costs bathing shoes in the hotel room were not with, as one of the other hotels knows. read more

As already often described the hotel is, the already approximately 30 years old is in a good state. On Chaweng Noi from the beach from the nicest location, the rocks left at the beach optically very beautiful to photos. The salt water pool sees top and adjacent to the beach. Unfortunately the sand is not completely finely. The water has a beautiful blue color. Depending on the wind are no waves and on the next day can already again completely different looks. We had a deluxe room booked, had room number 212, this was right by the sea water pool ... and had a great view of the sea. For this the room was somewhat small, had no couch, but who needs that. In the hotel it was altogether very quiet, was not fully booked, mostly german, italian and Sweden, some russians. read more

    We had room 212 directly at the beach. Room had a kingsize bed and an armchair, somewhat small as the rooms with couch but great view. Flip flops, bathrobe, ironing board, Waage, umbrella, safe, hair dryer. The air conditioning well be regulated silent. Here and there one already sees the age of the hotel. The mini bar we unloaded and with our things filled in supermarket bought.

    We only booked with breakfast but the was very good. Though everyday the same but if yes everything available is. German breads and poppy, Croissant, schokocroissant, pastries, pancakes, toast, bacon, beans, small sausage, thai food, soup, egg station with fresh scrambled egg and omelet, even the sausage was delicious. Cheese, cereal, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, salad... The juice could have been better. Apart from that drinks in the hotel very expensive if not specially happy hour and you 2 drinks to the price from one gets, between 13 and 14 hours and 17 and 18 hours. 2 time per week theme nights thai or barbecue for 690 Bhat per person, expensive but delicious. Thai you could also from the map cheap food about 200 bht nevertheless but still twice as expensive as outside.

    Altogether are all very nice and friendly. At of the lobby is Anja an austrian who spoke german well. For breakfast always coffee and tea refilled. The cleaning of the rooms was fine. , from time to time missing time towels. For repairs etc. They immediately sent a technician and everything repaired. Unfortunately is during our stay the generator burned down to this fixed could we often had power outages as the electricity on koh samui very irregular is.

    The two pool areas were very well maintained. The fresh water pool nearby of the lobby was always very empty and therefore ideal for laps. The saltwater pool was just top from, the water was but very warm. You could balls and so on check-out counters. There were towels directly at the pool so many you wanted. Wi-fi was in the whole hotel free. The connection was ever after location more or less good. Beach looked super, sand not completely finely, somewhat pebbly, water but depending on waves already very clear. After we had complained the beach not so clean, it was much better. Loungers, umbrella are abundant.

    Directly on the Chaweng Noi, great bay and much nicer than on Chaweng Beach. With the scooter one is in 5 minutes in Chaweng. 10 minutes to Lamai or bophut. In Chaweng Noi there are on the road some restaurants, very recommendable the charming ( at the hotel right and approximately 300 meters on the left hand side) and the gourmet terrace (from the hotel right and 100 meters on the right side). Very tasty and relatively cheap. Pad thai - roasted pasta 90 Bhat, Cola 40 Bhat, big beer 100 Bhat. Super is also the supermarket the 24 hours was open. In Chaweng there are great lots of restaurants, all fast food chains, tasty were the little boat house, kaosan, mom roma. We thought it was bad the ninja. Great the massages the charming past on the right side means carnation 1 hour oil massage costs 420 Bhat also be, with the 2 time we have 20 per cent get a discount. At the beach you can already for 300 Bhat massage, is however sandy...
