Rooms are a little small, but new and very clean. Staff at the front desk not particularly friendly or helpful. At the breakfast there was enough choice, however no variety (9 days with the same three sorts of sausage and two types of cheese). Otherwise very pleasant hotel in a quiet location on the outskirts of Pistoia. The restaurant was once used (relatively expensive and best quality). In about 500m away is a pizzeria with delicious dishes. For people who do not have English this hotel is unsuitable, as at the front desk can speak 'German' no (or unwilling?) Overall ... the hotel is highly recommended and we would stay again. read more

The hotel is conveniently located, is easily accessible from the highway to find and is still far enough from blocks away. We had a room to the inner courtyard and it was very quiet. The staff is very helpful and tried hard, to satisfy the guests. At the front desk they spoke English and partially. German. The guests were from all over Europe arrived. All age groups were represented and one saw families, seniors, Biker, etc. The rooms were spacious and very clean. They changed the towels daily. Bathroom was equipped with shower. Everything was very nice and clean. Terrace ... facing the inner courtyard was very quiet but there were a lot of mosquitoes. The breakfast was for Italian conditions more than enough (fresh melon, dried fruits, cereals, toast, rolls, different jams, eggs, sausage and cheese, juices, milk, tea and coffee on request cappuccino free of charge). In the main the staff was noticeably tried, to be fair to all guests. With a small wait we had a newly set table. Until the end against 10:30 o'clock was always the breakfast buffet refilled. At the front desk you can ask for discount opportunities for the surrounding thermal baths. To Florence You should take the train. From the main station in Pistóia to the city center you need only 45 minutes and saved the chaos and the parking in a large city. The second great there and back cost about three euros. Room and hotel were in a very good and clean condition. Especially the bathroom. We had booked the deluxe room. Had a nice size corresponding. Also the balcony was big enough and clean. The walk to the city center took about two-3 kilometer and was good to reach. There were sufficient restaurants available, if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Since we had booked half board, but mostly we ate in the hotel. There was always enough food, but some dishes were not always to our taste. But this is certainly a matter of taste. What the friendliness ... and willingness to help the concerned, we cannot complain about nothing. Both in the evening at the food, as well as at the breakfast we were always the same. The breakfast buffet was adequate, although the variety was missing. Hotel is well suitable for excursions, as all sights of the area (Pisa, Florence, among other things) were easily accessible. The breakfast is served in a seminar room instead. The service with coffee or the allocation of an appropriate table took a bit too long is not a lot of emphasis on the availability of glasses or missing parts at the buffet. The hotel is very nice and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had booked half-Sion and they had in the restaurant across the street. Neckermann guests unfortunately now in a very hot 'party tent'. The guests paid their food, in the lovely garden could eat. We felt like second-rate customers. It was not possible to negotiate. Also not over the hotel. Reason is, because the Hotel nothing to do with the restaurant. Beswerden on these conditions are known in the hotel. Also on the quality of the food and the selection possibilities. For a main dish for ... dinner eggs and omelets in Italy is not for me. We could do nothing. read more
