The camping village is a larger complex consisting of bungalows, chalets, some spaces, pool, restaurant, supermarket, infopoint. The audience is mixed: of grades to retirees everything was there. We liked it, but of course you have to the camping -atmosphere like. It is just no hotel. read more

We had a bungalow. In a bungalow were always 2 apartments. They are very small and tight, but this was expected. For a city trip absolutely sufficient, since you are not long. The walls were of course very thin and not noise or thermally insulated, but that is what you don't. Unfortunately one has however the neighbors ( in the 2. unit) run felt, because it has the bungalow with every step waggled. One must first accustom to. The bungalow is equipped with 2 single beds ( collapsible ), as well as a 3. bunk bed. This should be but only from children or very light persons be changed. The walls in the bungalows are not pregnant and I would have truthfully not dare cheat. There are an airco, closet and small desk under the bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower, the clean. Before the bungalow was a wooden table with benches, so comfortable sit outside could (crickets for example also possible). Free of charge are bed sheet, blanket and towel.

We were only 1 times in the restaurant and only pizza ( marinara) eaten. This was reasonably priced and the taste was ok. We didn't try, not the breakfast. In the supermarket next door is a microwave, in which you there bought warm up can. However is the supermarket not really cheap. Pool bar we didn't try it.

We were at the front desk with good German language skills welcomes. Apart from that one gets ahead naturally with English everywhere further. As to the agreed date at the airport the bus was not there, I called and I was helped immediately respectively directly recalled, so that you don't alone felt! We were only 2 nights there and were hardly at the camp anyway, so I can to other service little say.

There is a pool with pool bar. There were also various events ( disco, togaparty etc.) If you don't like that, just on the bank before its bungalow:-)

The property is linear distance not far from the Vatikan away, with public transport it takes a while. We are train - the subway/ bus variant we didn't try them. The trains are rare, but for us it was adequate. One runs about 15 minutes to the train station 'Aurelia'-on a small little busy street. The train runs until Termini, whereby one also in vatikannähe ( San Pietro) off-which is Aurelia the 1. Stop. Instruction: on the way back to' Aurelia' not the last couple dare to enter. As the train in' Aurelia' again kept, we had to leave before the railroad platform off, since the course probably too long. Italy just.:-) The direct environment the camps we didn't explore. But the time was too short. Opposite is a supermarket and McDonald's. There other campingdörfer further out are, I think the location great. Since still in area A, as long as I really seen and with the roma passport to drive can. The camp offers but also a shuttle bus to the Vatikan at. But we didn't use it.

We have a parking space for a tent and a car booked. The price for this was all right. However is the space in comparison to other camping sites relatively small and the floor is not at all for a tent suitable, since the soil a concrete slab is like. The herrings went badly or not at all in the floor. Two herrings had to outside stay. The sanitary facilities are for a campsite reasonable but may often be cleaned. Otherwise there was from 21:30 no warm water more. The night's sleep from 23:00 until 7:00 most ... guests ( many groups of young people) not complied with and there is no staff, the sleep care. read more

The restaurant is no restaurant. The lasagna was from the freezer from the supermarket and the ingredients on the pizza not fresh. On wishes like for instance rocket on the pizza goes the staff not, as it 'is not'!

In general you don't the feeling, that the staff all problem care. It is rather because, for the guests at the front desk and money to collect. The waiter in the hotel could only little English and wishes as rocket on the pizza not one. A good service was the cheap shuttle bus to the Vatikan.

The two pools are very small and both nonswimmer pools. The dimensions are of the pool are feeling 6 times 3 meters.

The campsite to find was very, very bad. There is no signs or publicity for the campsite. The location of the camping area is however well, since one is fast with the vatikani is. The area is for an overnight stay in the tent not recommendable, as a 4-lane highway borders directly.

Value for money is good! Quite small, but clean. With the mattresses we unfortunately had bad luck. For a 3-day city break absolutely right, it is anyway only for sleeping there. read more

The complex is quite large and offers different places to spend the night. We have to 2 in a bungalow stayed in. Although the room was not very big, but since we were out for the whole day and only slept, it didn't bother us. Room and bathroom were clean and neat. The bungalows benefits especially young people and grades to stay. For breakfast we had to extra pay; the were per person €5.50. No bargain, but still as a part of. read more

The rooms in the bungalow are comfortable and clean, however quite small. If you only stayed in, which is the however not continue to disturb. As bungalows was usual the coerced available: cabinets, a table, a chair and of course beds. The rooms have a private bathroom and an airco. Who wants, can evenings a little sit outside; but before the bungalows plastic chairs.

On the grounds there are a restaurant/bar, where from a breakfast buffet offered. The buffet is manageable, however is the for italian standards reasonable. Evenings you can in the restaurant eat. Pizza there is even to go. Price is all this as a part of; the pizza is enough in terms of size loose even for two people.

  • Service

The employees there are very polite and spoke several foreign languages, in any case english, some also german. On the grounds there was a room with washing machines and a supermarket, but the our visit had closed. The front desk is always for questions and problem approachable, the, so far as possible, also be resolved immediately.

The complex is still within rome, but rather on the outskirts of the town. With the S-Bahn one needs from Termini from about 25 minutes. From the metro station one runs then about a quarter of an hour or one drives a stop by bus. Another possibility, to access the property, is metro and some stops by bus to drive. However you have to consider, that roman buses no fixed times and at the weekend partly not to drive. In the week one comes so on the inverse but nevertheless really good to the center and in the Vatikan. Directly opposite the hotel is a supermarket, a small piece the road down there is a McDonald's. For ways on foot but you have general note, that one the road partially with cars have to share.

On the camping site are two pools, one Beachvolleyballfield and two of Whirlpool available, likewise being because of the pool in sufficient number. The pool plant is supervised, it gives a bar. It is very pleasant to lie there. Against the data of the tour operators one does not need a bathing cap.

Before the entrance of the camping site is a bus stop. Two lines, one drive to the Metrostation Cornelia (approx. 8 min.), from which one in 10 min. in the city center are, one to the Vatikan. Best, one acquires a daily ticket for 4 euro, which one can buy at the reception. This applies to all penalty, underground and courses in the city. Likewise a shuttle bus for 2 euro (round ticket) drives to the Vatikan. The camping site offers also an airport transfer to both airports, but one can put the distance back also very well with the course (to transfer in Travestere, Zielbahnof Aurelia = 8 euro).
