Good hotel for short city break

The largest advantage this hotel is its location: in the middle of Westminster the tube (Victoria Station) in 10 minuten, as well as many sights (for example Buckingham Palace in 20 minuten ) to reach on foot. All other typical correspondents are by public transport easy to reach. Recommendation: free osyter card get (not for visitors), as you get the 5 pound deposit with return and pay automatically always the cheapest tariff per ride.
The district in victorian style makes a very nice and quiet impression. Restaurants, cafes, banks, etc. Are right around the corner.
The hotel itself is quite ... small and rather tight (steep stairs!), in the price-performance -proportion (at least in our case: circa 35 Euro/overnight stay with breakfast) however completely fine. Our room was small, but well equipped (especially amazing comfortable beds and tv with hundreds of english programs) and clean. The breakfast (continental) is rather meager, but also sufficient rolls, croissants, toast, butter, marmelade, a sort of ham, a sort of cheese, different cereals, milk, juice (good!), choco, tea, coffee. The breakfast room in the basement is again definitely too small. Even in january it came with us to congestion and easy crowd. The times (7:30 until 9:30 o'clock) are obeyed very strictly, to point half 10 everything was cleared. This is probably especially because, that all of the staff at the hotel (front desk, cleaning and service) from 3-4 persons and right then the cleaning of the rooms begins. The house is quite badly soundproofed, which ruthless neighbors already somewhat annoying can be. Noise from the street was for us (3. floor) audible, but bearable. A luggage room for the day of departure does not exist (the often already are accessible to everyone), you can do your suitcase but in a corridor off, the with us worked without problems.
For a short city journey, with which one anyway little time in the hotel spend, clearly recommendable! read more

The room was absolutely unacceptable. The windows were so dirty, that a perfect review was not possible. In the shower we dare not, because everywhere brown stains on the floor were. Hair in the washbasin and shower/tub combination. The towels we have also not touched, because without exception each white towel brown stains were. The hotel no double glazing has, therefore, a huge noise backdrop at night, I recommend Ohropax, without bearable not. read more

Hotel has 4 floors, close staircase, no lift. Narrow Hallways, tiny rooms and bathrooms. Small breakfast area in the waiter.
The corridors are superficially clean, every morning with trenchant stinky Disinfectant cleaned.
Hotel staff at the front desk were Indians; very friendly, helpful, and strive. On request we got immediately after arrival additional bed sheet brought into the room. In the breakfast room amongst others an Indian and a Portuguese; in view of the circumstances, also hard working and industrious, but nothing special professional.
Nationality of the guests: German, English, Scandinavian.
Altogether in my opinion rather 2-3 stars level. read more

Cheap hotel for a London visit

For the price you need in London don't expect much... Only a five minute walk from the Victoria/Paddington Station location, therefore, easy access to the main attractions. For a city trip it was good enough, bed for two persons with 1.40 rather small, bathroom in the room was very small; after complaining about the room size got an other room. Currently under construction in the area of reception. read more

Quiet and good for excursions located simple city hotel.
We had a room where the door in the hallway of the hotel entrance was, therefore, you didn't notice the night owls in some.
Otherwise very basic Hotel, with drinks and/snack machine at the front desk.
The recommendation relates only to a short stay (2 nights maximum) read more

For three stars it is so, the claims should not be too high. It has rooms with shower and toilet, in the hallway is a toilet. The location of the rooms is partly in the mini inner courtyard, where you with open water from outside wastewater pipes a little confused. Tv in the room, good for the program can the hotel nothing, you're not there to watch tv as. The breakfast room was very cramped, so eight o'clock there, otherwise wait. Toast, croissants, rolls, cheese, jam, coffee was very good, also orange juice. The absolute plus is the location about ... ten minutes walk from the Victoria train station to the south (underground, bus, train, taxi, shops) to the parliament about 20 minutes from there, of course, if you to the River Thames and then walked along the beach, which is recommended, it takes longer accordingly. As I said, you can stay here, noise everywhere, but for those city break you can recommend this hotel. A lot of fun-Pepe read more

As a base for a short break, in the more or less one at the hotel to sleep is, I would rate this hotel for travellers without thoroughly recommend high standards. The hotel is a few minutes from Victoria station, from where trains run, tubes, coaches leave start and city tours. The location is simply ideal. To walk from here to reach a lot! The room was very small and simple but clean. Fridge, hair-dryer, TV (without German channels) as well as a kettle were available. Our room faced the street located and quite noisy, so pack ear plugs just ... in case. The breakfast is less recommendable, but was be stopping including. You could choose from only toast and jam, and cereal with milk, coffee and juice. The breakfast room was very small, therefore very tight but at least, I could get a bit STRENGTHS to start your day. read more

London is expensive in hotels so 60 Euro per night for a double room for lower standard, but completely satisfying comfort more than adequate. Nice service at check inn, small rooms, great location (1 minute walk to Victoria station). Minus a narrow stairs, no lift (elevator) and no German television. read more
