Polonia palace in Warschau is a very substantial, well well-maintained hotel, with its friendly, accommodating staff and a luxurious facilities both for short vacation, as well as for longer stays you can.
The choice at the breakfast buffet is plentiful and tasted nothing to complain about. Also the stylishly equipped guest rooms invite you to visit.
Nearby there is a large shopping center, a large train station, as well as the palace of culture and many bars and restaurants. The historic part warsaw and the Schlosspark (very nice for walking go) are around 20 to 30 minutes walk away.
All ... in all is the polonia palace warmest recommended! It's good value for money here wholeheartedly. In my opinion even more like a 5 star than a 4 star hotel. read more

Very comfortable hotel in the middle Warsaw opposite palace of culture. Good possibilities to shop nearby and great restaurants. Very good hotel in a central location mIT flair in a historic building. In the immediate vicinity of the train station and Bürozentrums. Good breakfast, service during dinner very efficient. Rooms are very generously, I get often Updgrades on the (junior) suites. All together highly recommendable. read more

A very good hotel in a central location close to the old town. By its spacious construction it gives the guests an almost royales feeling of being at home. Although located directly on a main street, in the rooms is no traffic noise was heard. read more

As at Easter this year 2010 we were guests of the Polonia Palace Hotel.
The hotel is only a few 100 meters away from the train station or about 20-30 minutes walk from the old town, or about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. With the bus one comes for 2.80 zloty 175 directly into the old town.
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are few restaurants, most of them in the old town.
This year we had a standard room on the fourth floor with a view of the palace of culture (as requested). The ... room was big enough and had four stars standard. Small drawback were the relatively old TVs (no flat screen tv). Therefor it was in the bathroom Bogner products.
We ate in the hotel restaurant, the food was good, the service was very friendly, the rates slightly excessive for polish standards. We were twice in the bar, also here the prices were for polish standards slightly excessive. The breakfast (included in the room rate) was good.
Sports possibilities in the hotel we used No, but the hotel lacks the Wellness-/ pool area, which today is four stars standard. Here there are unfortunately point deduction!
Unfortunately, there was only for certain species miles & cancel points, this is very opaque. read more

Excellent Hotel, centrally located in the city center. Many sights are within 30-40 minutes to reach by foot. In front of the hotel buses and trams. The airport is with the bus 175 directly in front of the hotel.

One of my personal favorite hotels. A beautifully restored old building. Rooms are great, staff service oriented and friendly. Some rooms have views of the Palace of Culture - especially in the evenings very nice to look at. The location is very convenient. Very near to the train station and at the beginning of the main shopping streets. Yet very quiet (good window!). Also the National Gallery of Ancient Art is within walking distance. The old town is about a 15 -20 minutes. read more

I was surprised at the quality of this hotel. Cleanliness, food, staff all very good international standard. Most popular German channels and teletext available. Internet in the room no problem. Warsaw is worth a visit. The cleanest metropolis I have ever seen. read more

The hotel was very good and can be recommended with good conscience. We will love to do. The rooms are quiet and very well equipped. The beds almost like at home. Best of all was the bath in the room after the long sit and through the city. This was our first time in Warsaw, and will be back. Sad had us the plane crash. We were under the mourners several times at the Presidential Palace and also shocked about this tragedy as the Polish population. read more
