Pinhal do sol-where the sun for us never again seems. Ok, for little money and didn't expect much, but that it is so bad, i had not thought. Incompetent staff at the reception, unfriendly and impudent 'service' staff, bad and cold food. Underkept, smelly room etc.
You have to the stay rather than experience book, otherwise one is annoyed excessively. I was never on coffee trips, this could however here live to see, as in the pinhal do sol such events would be held. Silberbestecke and similar here a letargischen crowd older portuguese offered. The sales events was right next ... to the dining area of the guests and divided the already well arranged buffet. The hingekarrten retirees are of course only because of the free food on it raved about. Therefore, the 'buffet' from. It is however actually because of the 'qualität' (i must almost laugh, at the food quality to speak, apology) of the food was completely no matter, or even better, if you don't get more.
We had a rental car and were then due to our experiences also only for sleeping in the hotel.
As in the next room was broken into, have we our valuable articles always taken.
The 'pool' was never cleaned, that floating napkins disturbed nobody. Also the types of people were because of the favourable price rather simple, as i one child (type 'Kevin-Justin', approximately 10 years old, 1,20 metres, 60 kilogram), which as cool as a cucumber in the pool spat called, that this to omit would have, (i was just in the pool!) Every day the mother only to, that i your child in peace i should. Poor Germany.
Like such a hotel further exist is completely incomprehensible and i can think of the current recommendation rate of 79% only by manipulative reviews say.
I have stayed in many different hotels around the world. In clearly more expensive but also in significantly cheaper accommodation. But the pinhal do sol was by far the worst hotel. read more

The hotel is without hired car not recommendable or if you have by the pool loungers would respectively with the hotel transfer at the beach want to drive. Room service very poor only against 17 or 5:30 P. M. if you were in front of the dinner something peace would. Serving staff in the restaurant very unfriendly to the German guests, difficult it was for guests the no English since no one speaks German. We had a superior double room which was noisy front desk a small fridge and kettle from the other difference. Bed very small apparently King ... size (circa 1.60 times 2 meters) with a very hard mattress. Positive was the large bathroom and the separate toilet, unfortunately everything not very clean. Perhaps it was normal for three stars standard in this country (was our first visit). One is compensated by beautiful beaches and beautiful landscape! read more

Of course not to comparisons with a resort like it Egypt or Turkey. But very well arranged. The rooms are in a long building, in two floors. The rooms on the ground floor each have a small terrace with subsequent lawn. On the first floor are all equipped with a balcony and opportunities to sit equipped. 24 hours front desk. Elevator and plentiful parking spaces. The average age goes genuinely from young to old. The nationalities were in our day 80% English, 15% German the rest is spread. We were also already times in May there, as it was the ... other way around. You can breakfast book, half board or all inclusive we didn't use, only Friday were totally enough. read more

The mattresses were worn out. The springs in the mattress digging at the beach chairs. We changed the room after a night, since there was no balcony. But it should be. The first room smelled musty very. A room change was problem-free. The second room was better. A 'terrace' , sharing the adjoining room. In the hotel description was a kettle was available. It was not. Nearby are a few restaurants and a Lidl supermarket. read more

The hotel is in the rough and whole very good, the food, the hotel still work, little varied breakfast offer.
Rental car included would have been good, but it is absolutely not necessary, we had one in the trip with included, was really handy.
Portugal and the Algarve is really great, great beaches, nice people and much to see, would love to go back in the future, would arise if it. read more

All in all a great holiday. The hotel is a bit out of the way but it was not a problem for us, because we had a rental car. There is also an hotel-own shuttle bus where in the city and to the water. For exploring the Algarve an optimal starting point. read more

Recommended place to stay as a base, to explore the Algarve. In 7 days no cause for complaint.
Room clean, neat, well equipped (telephone, tv meter German channels, safe, closet and chest of drawers, bathroom with WC, bath, padding, hair dryer etc.)
A bit out of the city center in a very quiet location, which was very pleasant. Therefore a bit further ways to stop (bus), supermarkets and city centre.
Several times daily free hotel bus service to quarteira and Vilamoura.
With a rented car we were independent absolutely flexible.
Internet access in lobby, but a bit expensive for ... my taste (5 Euro per hour, 1 euro per. 10 minute). Tennis court available for a fee.
Had booked with breakfast, good buffet.
Chief responsible and helpful (for example, car hire, tours, etc. Reiseangelegenheiten)
I can recommend. read more

The hotel is not too long ago painted and see it clean and friendly. The decor in our room was old and not very good, but there was a kettle, a small fridge, a hair dryer and an iron with ironing board!
The staff is nice, speaks however only English.
We really liked the food, there was always two sorts of fish and two sorts of meat.
The hotel is located about 3kilometer outside of quarteira.
Conclusion: cheap, but good. A rental car is a plus. read more

A small area, the when we were there, just got a Fassadenrenovierung. The rooms were ok, clean. However the bathroom", was distinguished in Austrian-Mediterranean through its strange much architecture. The views from the room went into the garden and over the roofs of Quarteira. Sea view it cannot be expected, as about 2 km from the sea. Breakfast and dinner were basic but ok and more adapted to the mainly British guests. We found hotel not clairaudient, rather the behavior of some of the guests made for concern. read more

The hotel is cute and clean. However, the hotel is a little "off the beaten path". So a rental car on the ground. We have booked this directly from Germany. However, there is a free shuttle bus to the larger cities several times a day around it. read more

If you freshly squeezed juices, theme buffets, WLAN in the rooms etc etc need, would likely to be unhappy here. We found the hotel for the price (and you must be taken into account (!!!) ok, but not for demanding Would bother me, if a higher rate for this service. It was a 3 star hotel. The rooms are simple but conveniently furnished, the furniture has some guests his desire to be helpful. We stayed on the ground floor and you could every word and every step above us Celebrity residents family to hear. The bathroom was already very worn and unfortunately not quite as clean as you wish. We had only booked breakfast, you could but at the evening buffet for a contribution toward expenses of 11.90 can take part in euros. read more

The service and cleanliness of the hotel were miserable! also the staff was very unfriendly. You haven't even dare to ask questions or get.
The hotel is badly in need of renovation! The beds were partially damaged and the bathroom moldy! Clean towels are also a rarity. All in all, you can never rely on the reviews, because the largest part of the guests have rated this hotel, which wasn't understand!!!
Good, that the beach is not too far from Hotel. read more

With fresh memories on 23 June 2010 from our holiday. We are traveling with Alltours. We found a bit strange that in the catalog, the hotel from alltours under ROMANTICA hotel was listed as. yet it is more like a motel and the architect seems with his claim on playing with Billund to be not progressed beyond. Very, haswinding concrete building. You should always from the price but its assessment and go out the 3 star rating. This is reflected in the rating the rooms and the food good and satisfactory. Just. The hotel is in a clean condition. The ... staff is friendly and helpful. The noise of the planes taking off from Faro, the hotel is under the Ausflugsschneise, has given us from Berlin Pankow did not bother us. There are a bit less than at home with us and the operation starts also shortly after 6.00 hours early in the morning. We can recommend the hotel limited. Klaus gardener read more

We went there as a couple, the wanted to see a lot of the area. car hire is a must, although the hotel 3 times daily offers a bus service to the beach. Very quiet location in the back country, within walking distance, about 40 minutes from the beach. One of the few hotels that go at this time of year. As in the category should, varied breakfast only little. Those who like it but every morning eggs and bacon, or grilled tomatoes and beans, as many English couples there might be. Like the rest of Portugal helpfulness is very ... large and also for early check out there was access to the breakfast room. More meals not booked, there are about 1 km away but also some external restaurants. read more

The hotel has quite a few years old, it has about 50 rooms. It is a Elongated construction so you to some of the rooms is a while traveling. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. At our time of stay, it rained the often, the Hoteltüren were very lets, these were with towels (the same as you in the room) sealed. We had booked half-board, but is an upgrade on site on all inclusive possible. In our travel were mainly German, English, Spanish and local guests. The average age was about 40 years. read more

Everything is outdated and in very bad condition. The hotel has not been updated for awhile. The copper tubes are on the wall and are covered with lime around. In the bathroom it smells like feces and the open daily changed bottom towels did not always a clean impression. The quality of the pool was good. Must is a car, but beware in rate no risk insurance included. read more
