Das tyrol is a small hotel with 30 rooms on 5 floors. The entire hotel is in a very good state. Also the cleanliness there is nothing left to be desired. In the entire property are paintings and artwork by regional artists, which the hotel its special ambience. The guest structure is international and includes all age groups. read more

    High comfort factor! The rooms are well equipped (safe, flat screen tv, free wi-fi, lighted closet! , coffee maker, minibar, telephone, air conditioning). The bathroom is large and the hair dryer a mirror up to Waage is everything available. The furnishing is color coordinated and very comfortable. The cleanliness is not to criticize.

    The breakfast room is the size of the room of the hotel adequate and offers enough room. The ambience very nice (fold napkins, paintings, works of art). The breakfast is very plentiful - from salmon, cold cuts and cheese with jam to yogurt and cereal is everything available. Fresh juice, sparkling wine and a variety of teas there is at the buffet. Egg dishes, and coffee to order directly freshly prepared. The service is excellent.

    The service was very good, the staff friendly and accommodating with very good foreign language skills (german, english, spanish, russian). Also the cleaning of the rooms was excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

    Central location in the mariahilferstraße: On foot 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station, Museumsquartier in the immediate vicinity, Opera, naschmarkt, hofburg imperial palace and Stephansdom more than reachable on foot. In the mariahilferstraße there are already a variety of shops, bars and restaurants-those shopping malls in the city center are reachable in circa 10 minutes on foot.

Like many rooms das tyrol has, i do not know exactly. We had a standard double room in the 5. floor, with the elevator at all not a problem. Should the but time, it would be for the handicapped people already difficult. The hotel is beautifully decorated, everything was very brightly, friendly, fresh colors, thus so correctly to be comfortable! On each room there is a nespresso machine, for the small coffee or tea in between, what really very pleasant was. Inclusive is wi-fi in the room, the internet is very fast, breakfast, very good toiletries in the bathroom, even ... a small sewing kit is for ' emergencies' available. We met in the hotel guests of different age groups and nationalities, what we always sympathetic. read more

    We had a standard double room in the 5. floor with small sloping. The room was equipped with a large double bed, two nachtkonsolen, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers with a fridge, minibar and tv, and a small desk with two chairs. The bathroom was very spacious and had a bathtub (the i wanted!). The size of the room is completely alright, even if you stay longer than a few days would remain. And i say that as a person, not ' standardmasse' has! The room is clean, the furniture well maintained and not the 'usual'. There is heating, for the summer an airco, and as already described above, there is a nespresso machine for the (free) coffee/tea preparation. All in all really to be comfortable so!

    The tyrol offers breakfast, very extensive. There is everything, what the heart (or stomach) could desire, and all meals are fresh and of very good quality. Boiled eggs or other egg dishes on request freshly prepared. The staff is extremely friendly and worries about the wishes of the guests quick and unobtrusive. Also the buffet is constantly controlled and refilled, so that no ' bottlenecks' arise.

    The hotel and the rooms are very clean and tidy. At foreign languages i on the part of the staff english and croatian is, there is but certainly more ☺ It was both a very early check-in, as well as a late check-out, we could on-line in the flight check-in, and so on. Much more service than we have it from other hotels know, and all this with a friendly word and a smile on their face! The whole team of the tyrol was absolutely friendly, helpful and courteous! For us the most important thing is on vacation - no matter how short he may be-always, that we 'like at home' feel, and the we could in the tyrol from the first to the last second do.

    Das tyrol is located in the Mariahilfer Straße, one of the streets of vienna. In spite of the central location is the hotel very quiet. To subsequent times, i must say, that i am not good on foot am, others are so much less time Need ☺ Sights such as hofburg imperial palace, state opera, albertina, museumsquartier, etc. Are in around 10 to 15 minutes walk away, the naschmarkt about minutes. Public transportation (bus ) directly in front of of the door, or on the burgring (tram, u-bahn) to around 5 to 10 minutes to reach. The raimund theatre is on foot in a pleasant stroll about minutes. Restaurants are depending upon taste right around the corner, or at the naschmarkt, the spittelberg area or in the center of the city, all are more than reachable on foot. From the airport we have a transfer in advance order, the is in any case cheaper (25 €per route) as a 'normal' taxi. As we saturday very early in Wien were, we wanted to the naschmarkt flea market, this is why we have the public for transfer not used. All in all the location great for a city trip!

Centrally located, good with public to reach. In 10 minutes one is from the hotel at the hofburg, naschmarkt and opera and 2 minutes to the next subway connection. The hotel has been freshly renovated, breakfast for my taste, what else could you want. Conclusion: i would book it again, imaculate, the 100% rating! read more

'the tyrol' is a attentive run, small perfectly located hotel (directly at the museumsquartier only 5 minutes walk to the hofburg ) for a city break to Wien. We booked the first advent weekends 2012 for shopping and strolling through the center used. The breakfast is exceptionally good and varied. The staff especially friendly and accommodating. Dishes with eggs (omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, etc.) Were quickly and with fresh ingredients prepared. Much value on the art and affectionate decoration all public areas. Each floor is another artists and with originalbildern equipped. The spa area is very small and ... the advance exclusively reserved. Unfortunately, we were already too late and had therefore on the pure joy do. The hotel is for tourists very recommendable! read more

A very great hotel, which i simply because the darling lift (bj. 1956!) And also otherwise all only to the heart,. Service great - food is great - location great. Wether cleaning, front desk, breakfast or room - we are nothing to be desired we could have stayed longer. Simply both thumbs up. We will definitely come back again:-) read more

Super, we drive wd to Wien and book wd. This hotel. Also has a private sauna, türkisces bathroom and so on Right in the middle of it all in the center. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great decor, interesting decorations. read more

As i have on the internet had seen, that the room very small are, i have a deluxe studio. This transaction i took about 3 months before the start of the journey. The booking was confirmed. As we checked in we were in the dark about left, that our booked category available stood. We were without comments in a double room stuck. We started with the empty out the suitcase. It wondered about the size of the room. At our request, was the lady at the front desk running, you have just the ticket of the colleagues found, saying, that ... the booked category not more is available. ( the i will take your not from. You have simply tried the smaller category take the responsibility). They offered us a bottle of wine to the room at. On our reference, we wanted that booked larger rooms and no bottle of wine, they offered us a discount on, the us anyway because of the other category condition. Conclusion: we moved and were lucky another large room in madrid to find. I will definitely not more book this hotel. read more

We can recommend this hotel without any reservations. The check in ran problem-free and fast. The staff were always very friendly. Everywhere in the house are very interesting works of art and the hotel was very beautiful decorated for christmas. Although the room was nothing special large, but it was very modern and tastefully decorated with flat screen tv, safe, coffee machine and air conditioning. The bathroom against was very spacious and with a hair dryer, make-up mirror, full-length mirror and Waage furnished. The furniture are high-quality and again. The room and the bathroom were always very clean. For breakfast ... was everything available there was for example different juices, cakes, several sorts of bread and rolls, salmon, etc. Egg dishes, as well as Cappuccino and other viennese kaffeespäzialitäten could free be ordered. The hotel's location is great. There was probably hardly a hotel in Wien with a better location these price. Subway and tram stop in immediate proximity, as well as all major fashion shops. All sights for example hofburg imperial palace, parliament, Rathaus and so on are fast and even to reach on foot. The spa is small but nice. Equipped with a sauna and steam room. The spa area for a certain time at the front desk to be booked, then you the sauna for oneself. The hotel is excellent for a city break, there the location but also the service in the hotel are unique. read more

Das tyrol is really worth a trip: great, residing in silent location location, subway nearby, very nice although not massive room, world class beds, hotel with flair, friendly staff ( we encountered) and a big breakfast until 11 o'clock. Tip: after arrival we in oldschool -garage 'Apollo' for 11 €on day parked, about one and a half kilometer up next to the Mariahilfer Straße. read more

The location of the hotel is very good at the start the mariahilferstraße. Comfortable parking in the adjacent garage are provided with 18, -per day. The museum quarter is located directly opposite, very convenient if you're an idea visited. Our room was to the mariahilferstraße, a bit noisy while having the windows open. In the room everything you need to the nespresso machine, very good. Unfortunately in the bathroom hair from the previous guest, the carpet in the room was not well cleaned, for this bed sheets and mattress very clean and of good quality. Breakfast buffet was all right ..., but we didn't really thrilled. The staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel you can for us for a short break recommend. read more

If you want a central city hotel in Wien if, in the tyrol book! The rooms are very well equipped, the mattresses completely new, and the service in general very good!. Particularly the staff's hospitality uS is positive! The furnishings with artistic exhibits and the straightforward size of the hotel (30 room) may be positive to the weight. Unfortunately we could the beautiful private sauna in the basement because of the many sights of the city not use, But oh well, maybe it is during the next stay in Wien. We would in any case stay there again! read more

Great! - air conditioning available. This was not necessary for us. - we could even at night while having the windows open sleep. Wonderful, very great renovated hotel, very a lot of attention to detail- worth seeing! With wonderful sauna and Turkish, as private sauna used with reservation, is a completely alone! In the room there are Nespresso machine with free coffee capsules, and mineral water. Breakfast, everything was there, what one can wish oneself, very caring staff.
