If you have a special saving caught, is this hotel almost perfect. The direct proximity to bus station. The indoor pool is in its size a joke, also totally overheated and because of the chlorgestanks only with gas mask to enter. The heater in the rooms this cold february absolutely great. The breakfast is very plentiful, but daily absolutely identical. read more

We were a week in this hotel. Arrived at night, no lunch or alternative in the room – disappointing for this hotel category. The staff at the hotel service not german – communication is thus hardly or not at all possible, there should as quickly as possible be improved. In the rooms one doesn't feel really comfortable, very minimalist, missing 'meaningful' storage space or shelf space. What we could say: a glass door without frames in hotel room which directly into the bathroom-general no good hotellösung, the ceiling in the bathroom was with a simple plank of wood temporarily locked-it ... gives the impression the construction will eventually pursued, the silicone sealing in the bathroom are now low ageing and should be replaced, the sanitärreinigung is totally inadequate, the cleaning apart from that superficial. The dolmen is a hotel for feeling good. I was now the 4. time at the dolmen and will next year return. The bus station is 2 minutes away, with buses on the whole island, to the ferry to Gozo.
The hop-off sightseeinbus also stops on the doorstep. read more

No shelf space and no shelve space in the bathroom, and no hooks or hangers for towels! The lady in the lobby of the hotel was only poorly lit and one could itself only to brustbereich in the very small mirror see see there were no ablgemöglichkeiten for a bag given. In the restaurant it was too loud, because the table-ware and cutlery very loudly was collected. My order after coffemilk was ignored or forgotten. We had a tiny double room with a tiny bed. When the guests at the front desk to a room with a normal large double bed we were told, the all beds are equally large. Very
Annoying were then for 3 days later a larger room with two big beds offered, of course with an appropriate extra charge! The baths are small and are very badly cleaned. In the corners you can the hair from the last residents see, on the bathtub is a coverage with a gap where you in a tray can see and somehow observed feels. Breakfast ... is reasonable, however everyday the same offer, 2 weeks we would not have breakfast. Not we can recommend the fitness room, the devices are partly broken and very old and the swimming pool for the size of the hotel way too small.
In short: not in the winter, where the inside area need is so bad weather as we unfortunately had, book this hotel. In the summer with the large pool area perhaps very pleasant. read more

We were as friends on the way.
The hotel made despite construction next door a good impression.
Very well maintained reception, clean restaurant, very courteous front desk staff and maid service,
Also the service the wellness and fitness area was very good.
The room was clean, but could be small some repairment works (joints in the bathtub) stand.
The rooms are big enough and well laid out, also very tastefully decorated.
There is also 1 european plug socket, who technology traveling should an adapter for english plugs carry forward, there is but also in some shops for circa 2,00 ... Euro to buy.
The bus station is about 50 meters away, the bus connections are very good and extremely cheap.
On the beach promenade bugibba there are a lot of shops, restaurants, bars and small bistros
Where you very good and cheap food.
It is everywhere english spoken.
The hotel has several elevators to the rooms.
It is also anxious to be handicapped friendly.
The rooms are equipped with double bed (2 singles pushed together) with good blankets (2. pillows in the closet), spacious schwebetürenkleiderschrank with enough hangers,
Safe, minibar (at reasonable prices), flat screen tv, telephone, on request dry cleaning service, and room service.
The bathroom is equipped with a bath/ shower and toilet, sink with a large mirror, makeup mirror, hair dryer, toiletries & towels.
The spa area is in the basement and is over stairs or a lift.
There is a small indoor pool (too small for the hotel, but nice) with several beach chairs, the gym is good is sufficiently equipped (unfortunately didn't work for all apparatus the computer).
Good massage and pflegeangebot (however not tested).
In the outdoor area there is a beautiful pool (was not in use) and 2 tennis courts-all beautifully planted.
The hotel also has casino, conference rooms and a bar. read more

The dolmen resort is the all in all a right good impression, with closer hinsehen could the hotel but sometimes a small 'face-facelift' stand (flaking plaster on the facade etc.). The furnishing was more like a 3 star plus category. The cleanliness in the public areas was very good. The guest structure during our short stay was mixed and very international, from about 35 years with a (seasonal) large proportion of elderly people. Malta is a wonderful museum island-if you beach vacation would like to book, is on the whole island wrong hands! For travellers but, the art, culture & landscape of the maltese archipelago to experience would like, is the dolmen hotel the right location. Directly at the coast of st. pauls bay, with private access to the rocky beach, directly on the promenade and close to the shops and dining of the town visited buggibba once it has a ideal location. The rooms are spacious and are in terms of the facilities a good german 3-stars -category (there is however a ... variety of room types, up to the suite). The size of the place is & con alike. A disadvantage is the large dining room (the dishes against are tasty and the service friendly and attentive), an advantage is the large number of gastronomic offers english pub, large panoramacafé, wine bar, beach bar, casino with bar and hotel restaurant - everyone could get their money worth here. Nice also the to the sea opening inner courtyard with a pool, places to sit, access to the beach and the remainders of a megalithic temple - name giver of the hotel. I would gladly come again. read more
