Low budget hotel, but value for money is okay!

More like a low-budget hotel, but but the value for money match. The rooms are big and quite clean, though the carpet perhaps once thoroughly cleaned could be. The bathroom is reasonable, towels are changed every day. For breakfast you should not expect too much: every day there are the same small selection-one sort of bread rolls, three sorts of pastries, fruit (probably from canned goods), jam (not edible!) And coffee (from the machines isn't recommendable! If then the from the pot! But you had the staff almost always point out, that this but refill may). The staff themselves answered ... thoroughly all questions, when they very dumb are. A 'good morning' or similar welcome/ verabschiedungs / höflichkeitsformeln are not to be expected. Here one holds very silent. However, our questions at the front desk concerning excursions efficiently. Be careful with the food in the area: preferred the bairro alto or at the rossio go! Have a evening bad experiences with a restaurant in the vicinity of the hotel made. read more

On arrival I asked at the front desk, whether that breakfast included is the porter approved.
When I the next morning the breakfast told me the waitress the in our room the breakfast not included is. I explained to her that I at the front desk said that it is inclusive. Al I at the portier tnrned claimed this that he had said to myself that this is not the case. This A... Hole I was fully lied to. So I had to 16 euros for breakfast pay. read more

The hotel is located close to the center. The nearest metro stations (Parque and marques de Pombal) can be reached on foot in about ten minutes. The condition of the hotel is good. Both the lobby have a air conditioning also the room, the we had during our stay in June not want to miss. The room are big enough, clean and with flat screen TV (unfortunately but no German programs), refrigerator and safe. However, in our room (806) only a single socket was available, what is very inconvenient, if you like we cell phone and camera batteries recharge must. ... The bedding is-what for me something is exaggerated-changed daily. The bathroom is very optically attractive, but something to small and to little shelf space. Make-up mirror and hair dryer were available.
The breakfast is up on the coffee (probably instant coffee) good and sufficient. Fresh fruit and cakes are also ready. Unfortunately the breakfast room is in the basement's something small, so you might plan to rush smaller waiting periods must. The staff at the reception is-as most of the Lisbon, the we have met-extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. We have us rarely so good. Even a trip in a van in the area of Lisbon was us for 35, - per person (we were a group of six persons) from the hotel. He led us to Queluz, Sitntra, Cascais and Estoril and has really worth it. read more

Very good 3 star hotel for a city break at a fair price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is central and nevertheless calmly (large park across the street) with good transport links. We booked this hotel two times and I would recommend it. read more

The hotel is OK for a city trip. Underground five minute. Taxi is recommended as it in Lisbon is very convenient. In addition drive taxis from after sales but the bet. If you leave the hotel on-line in advance booked it is cheap. In the short term too expensive for three stars.
Room and bathroom is small but adequate. Air conditioning, tv, safe and minibar are available. The latter avoided (too expensive). Staff is friendly and helpful.
Criticism: we had to keep the first night in another hotel to stay overnight for alleged overbooking. But with the taxi back and ... forth free of charge. read more

Good middle class hotel in the heart of Lisbon archived

Clean standard class hotel in the heart of Lisbon. The location is central, the rooms are a bit small (with air conditioning and tv) but easy access to the metro and bus network of the city. The breakfast buffet is more than enough. Special requests such as kettle for the room was unfortunately no response. The offered free wireless Internet did not work, as it is in some rooms of the signal is poor reception (in the upper floors). The night staff was a bit moody. The staff in the breakfast room and the room maids were very friendly.
All ... in all a good price performance ratio for the rate of 65 EUR for double room in the main season. read more
