The 4. visit of the hotel was an experience of a very special kind. The room in new castle (201) is wonderful. Pool and sauna 2 times per day were the absolute relaxation. Food and drinks could not be better. Staff at all headings attentive, friendly and helpful. The package was not more to exceed. We come completely certainly for the 5. time. This hotel we can recommend it without a doubt. read more

We were already 3 times in this hotel and will gladly come again. Nice excursions in the harz mountains invite you to Exploring a. Great the proximity to qlb, the roseburg in rieder, kukusuhrenhersteller in gernrode, likörfabrik, castle Falkenstein, dampflokfahrten and much more. In langenstein there are höhlenwohnungen in the mountain were built to visit and also a memorial of the concentration camp's langenstein- zwieberge. Food at reasonable prices and in good quality the schäferhof in langenstein (funny the farmer) and bückemühle in bad suderrode /gernrode. Affordable bread and cakes from its own production we stayed in a tiny store. ... He is in gernrode nearby the cyriakskirche and below the uhrenfabrik on a small spittelteich. Oh, we may still much to say! Better even try! Delicious breakfast in the restaurant 'old castle '. What not at all is the radio music of ' radio Sachsen-anhalt '?! Who has something annoying and stupid solution? Who wants to start between scrambled egg and tea news and wettermeldung hear? We do not! read more

We will definitely not go back. Absolutely unfriendly staff in the restaurant. After the notice, my husband could have had birthday, were wordlessly two glasses sparkling wine for breakfast on the table provided. The sparkling wine was stale. As my husband the said, the without comment noted. Requests for a reservation for the following day with a lot of effort to be placed, ' as you did not know, whether other guests their table again to have want '. Unprofessional is probably not. With the lunch, which we on the first day in the restaurant eaten, i was stomach lied. ... Sausage for breakfast was without cooling, some saw then it. I would have seen before, i would not eat out. In the restaurant there is a train station atmosphere. In our package included voucher for a half-board dinner we did not redeemed, the wanted we in the birthday of my man not village! In our room in the new castle was the bed for our son so carelessly in the middle in the place, that we only once shifted have. Room next to the elevator on the ground floor, so well. Pool area is a 4 star hotel not worthy, under the pool cover you look for a swim on the rust. In this hotel voices claim und reality absolutely not match. read more

The old castle has for us simply charm! Everything is somewhat outdated now, however for years we come often again on a short break. We enjoy the spa and the nice surroundings. Castle Falkenstein, the selketal, Quedlinburg and Wernigerode are easy to reach. read more

Larger hotel area in a park-like grounds, rooms spread in three buildings. Condition quite good, clean bathroom, all in all, it was clean. The daydreams arrangement breakfast and 4-course dinner menu included. Quiet cozy restaurant in the old castle.     Spacious room (new castle) with bathroom. Furniture style of the hotel adjusted. Tv not on the state of the art, but you can also not to watches television ago. Mini bar, safe (against bail), state-of-the-art telephone. Condition in spite of the age alright.

    Ds' feudalrestaurant' chateau neuf is only for special occasions open, because it was not worth it. In the restaurant 'old schloss' one is however in the best way in. Good food with local impact, not stars suspicious, but very tidy. Reichhaltigers breakfast. Pleasant, quiet, comfortable atmosphere, acceptable prices.

    Friendly, attentive and socialable staff-applies to front desk, service, cleaning staff. A technical problem was immediately rectified. The first room we were allocated was not, and we were given impeccably another.

    With public transportation a distance, but it is not easy. Automobile is advisable, also for excursions. Golf course belongs few km away to the hotel. The resin, with all possibilities for excursions. Shops and recreation are nearby with zero.

A recommendation I can only for guests vocalize, who don't have high expectations at your hotel bodies. The hotel is actually located very quiet, but the distances to the ausflugsmöglivhkeiten are extremely large. Also has one of the sauna-area definitely not the peace and quiet and tranquility as it should be. read more

It is a beautiful park with several houses. On the occasion of a voucher ' candl light dinner 'we had a room chalet Ludwig booked. The room was great comfortable and especially peaceful. Really for relaxing. We would be gladly still one night we could have stayed longer, but it was not possible, although us when booking said, possibly, what are. You could also in the other hotel in Ballenstedt something can arrange. Unfortunately was on arrival not at all react. The staff are super friendly, especially in the restaurant. The dishes, as well as the atmosphere is excellent. We ... will definitely come back again. read more
