Great hotel, very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant Alkion! Great food, always different, daily changing buffet Directions, who finds there nothing, your own fault. Room nice, with a TV, safe( rentable 39-for 2 weeks ), hair dryer, everything OK.
Evenings program daily location super, not far from center Prootaras with lots bars and restaurants and shops. Pool top with pool bar! Beach small but sweet, a Bay very nice clear water, snorkeling a must! Trip with boat for 10.- very recommendable! Bookable down in water sports!
Gladly come again, hotel has 4-4,5 star! Were end of September ... to middle October, water 25 degrees, air 30 +. Wonderful garden area. For all inclusive guests the menu is characterized, what you get. Not at all bars the same, snacks during restaurant open, then you eat stop later or or in the restaurant(13:15 until 15:30). As for the drinks everything is there what you like in all-inclusive.
I can only say a super relaxing vacation in this hotel had! read more

A very big hotel with lots of Russian guests and screaming infants.
The building were kept well clean.
What really bothered me was the constant music sprinkling (the not at all my taste) and the very loud ventilation complex ( air conditioning?) on the whole area was to be heard. The hotel's own loungers were from 8:00 A. M. in the morning occupied by towels. If one came later, one had bad luck. On foot about 15 minutes outside of Protaras convenient, what really pleasant is as you don't the party noise the many pubs has. Thanks to the bus station on the doorstep and the regularly and cheap (1 euro / drive ) driving Bosom is one nevertheless very fast in the town.
The hotel itself is cIRCA from the 70. Years, but still in good condition. The staff are normally very friendly, understands English and partly also other foreign Languages.
The rooms are well maintained and in terms of size okay, only the bathtub could be a bit wider. Cleaned every ... day.
The breakfast buffet is, as some already written, although not very varied, in my opinion but sufficient and full.
The dinner was always diverse and tasty. A court also only ansatzweise runs was immediately refilled, wait you actually never.
The beach chairs could times new Pads suffer, with cheerful towel but it is still.
The outdoor area altogether the quantity of the guests generous, there was always enough discontd.

Upon arrival, I was given a room on the first floor, where you only have a wall left, two trees in front of the nose and a short walk from the roof (above the entrance) to see. When I had lodged a complaint (I had booked a budget room) and wanted another room, I have been told, that this would be against extra charge (five-ten euro per day per person). Another possibility is not. I had no choice. Twelve days would have to pay extra for the towels were only once exchanged. The cleanliness in the rooms was almost okay ..., but the shower in the basement grow the mildew on the doors and the door frames lazy there. The beach chairs by the pool and on the lying meadows were very dirty. The food was rather poor, breakfast every day the same: bacon, eggs, sausage, cheese, roasted tomato and that was it. Dinner: fish can you did not eat too sour and dry, every evening was always the same fish dish and prejudice, because of the food. Other dishes weren't the best. The food was monotonous, without variety, the same every day, prepared. The vegetables to 90% of the box! A tip: if you want to eat well, then better to just book the room and 50 meters away from the hotel there is a restaurant (Eliniadiko or so) very tasty, everything was fresh and not too expensive. Price/performance ratio for this hotel was too high. Good recommendation rate I can't understand. I would not recommend this hotel! read more

I would like to come back. Price/performance ratio is absolutely right. All-inclusive I would recommend, since the drink prices are a little high. Staff is very friendly, the room very clean. On that away a small thank you to the staff for the nice time. read more

Hotel is okay-however already something old.
Direct location on a small but very beautiful beach, flat.
Food is OK but the same standard food always, little alternation, hardly any Greek dishes (had half board).
Room was satisfactory, however: mold in the joints in the very small bathroom.
Hardly any restaurants and shops in the surrounding area (it was a lot of closed, likely. due to the 'all inclusive' tourism).
Scooter, car or bus plan directly (it is at reception) is definitely to be recommended, about 20 minute walk to you need to go to the next town with shops and ... restaurants. read more

The staff spoke mostly only-english. It is the many english people in the hotel, so is the breakfast english style. At the weekends locals can use the premises (costs for four euro) at the weekend. the is very busy, since the locals as outdoor swimming pool. tip: go there before the towels on the beach chairs set breakfast, to to get a place at the pool. Recreation is offered a lot: darts, water polo, water volleyball, beach volleyball, archery, etc. Excursion possibilities: all water sports (Jet skiing, water skiing, banana boat, and many other more), boat (recommended), day trips to ... the country and its people become acquainted with (exploration of capital in the interior with course over the border in the Turkish part of Cyprus.), 500 meters along the street all the rental of scooters, quads, wheels, cruisers.
Bus: 200 metres from the hotel, buses go direction Aja napa and Prot ARAS (25 minutes to foot) every half hour until 23 hours in the evening. Taxi from proteins for seven Euros. anissaras hotel respect traffic! ☺ read more

This was our first visit to Cyprus and of course to the Cavo Maris Beach Hotel. The location was ideal with direct access from the hotel to the beach, approx. 50 metres without having to cross any roads and a leisurely 15-20 minute stroll into Protaras. The hotel provided excellent "allround" service creating a "family friendly" atmosphere for the individual, couples and those with children. Those wishing to avail themselves of child care facilities and activities were able to do so whilst at the same time enjoying a whole range of other active pursuits and entertainment.
Meal times, being broad ... based eg. breakfast 07.30-09.30 lunch 13.00-15.30 etc., meant that we were able to dine in comfort and without the stress of meeting dead lines. The food was excellent providing a very extensive range of dishes, almost too many to choose from, in a comfortable, light, air conditioned restaurant. Service was first class and conducted in a warm and friendly manner.
Our room was of a comfortable size with all amenities (incl. air conditioning) expected of a hotel of this class, a balcony overlooking the pool area and with a partial sea view, simply added to our enjoyment of this resort.
As said in the begining, this was our first experience of Cyprus, it certainly won't be our last and The Cavo Maris can look forward to receiving our patronage
again in the not too distant future. read more

The room were very clean and for a three-star hotel or 3.5 surprisingly large and well equipped (TV, safe, hair dryer, air conditioning, large balcony, room size adequate). Particularly impressed us has the beautiful bay with crystal-clear water, perfect for snorkeling. The water temperature was pleasantly warm throughout the day. It were always enough pool chairs both in the pool area also on the lawn available. For us it was not necessary, therefore, is located directly on the beach to rent us. Entertainment (Wassergmnastik, volleyball, Dartturniere, evening entertainment, etc.) was available, but we have never found it unpleasant ... and pushy. The hotel is the perfect place for those seeking peace, but also for families. The pool offers a separate area for swimmers with 3M deep. We could really swim undisturbed. Also the swim-up bar has us very well fallen.
Tip: if you are not all inclusive has booked, it's worth it, its beverages (beer, sodas, etc.) during the day in the hotel's shop to buy, the comes cheaper, than any beer in a bar to order (3.90 costs!). To the center of proteins Aras it is a decent walk, takes between 20 and 30 of the minutes. It is buses, the went very irregular. Recommended is the magic dancing water show in anissaras proteins (directly behind MC Donald's). read more

Staying on a Fully Inclusive basis there is no need to venture from the hotel as it can provide everything that you can want. Being my third visit. The what us not so good has fallen, the food was, each day the same. The beach is Sandy. In the beautiful clear water but very to recommend bathing shoes.
The beach chairs at the beach are unfortunately liable to pay the costs. Very recommended is a trip to Pafos and Nicosia. read more

The hotel is not exactly modern, but OK, mainly clean. Location is great-you has an ocean view while eating, coffee, from the pool and the garden. Food was in Ordnunng , but nothing special, one is not to very pampered. Us has fallen did not, that you get at the pool bar no coffee, no beer-the food must go to the bar. All including was not including-all afternoon cake no, much against surcharge, and this annoying invoice letter-have we have never experienced something like that.
We had a lovely holiday and trotztdem recommend the hotel to others. read more

Cavo Maris is a great clean hotel. The service worked also almost fully booked with, for example, to the spring.
The lack of clearly the food spices. Except for salt, pepper, oil, vinegar could spice you are not. Where are the Cypriot spices?
The beach is unfortunately not the hotel. You are right on the water, the cost to 7.50 on day two. However is only a few steps the lowest lawn away from the beach. The beach is Sandy. In the beautiful clear water but bathing shoes are advisable. On the cliffs you can watch bearded dragons.
In ... the center of proteins are 15 minutes walk Aras it. Trips can be booked in the hotel also. A boat trip along the coast with stops is to be recommended. read more

Has us fallen overall the stay. It is but various drawbacks, I am personally for me the: 1 it was overall a very rich breakfast buffet, but it was on english guests 'comfort in mind (it was beans, grilled tomatoes.) 2 it was only two types of cheese and two sorts of cold meat
It is no real grain third, but overpriced soluble coffee
Fourth powdered the orange juice was also touched
We have moved from the fifth third day on all inclusive. You feel cheated however, easily, on the terrace if you for example, ice may order, in ... the restaurant then again not. So is the with all drinks and most of the cocktails and alcohol. Spirit drinks you had to pay still itself!
Sixth all the same, whether it was or at lunch for dinner, the meat was just to tough for me every time. No matter what it was.
I personally think it seventh not beautiful, the beach chairs at the beach that you must pay.
I feel sure it also as rip-off, if times for the safe and fridge must pay money.
But all in all it has always delicious to eat what, the staff was very friendly, the evening entertainment was good and the weather great. read more

Cavo Maris Cyprus on the hotel is to recommend further. However, the location is something outside of proteins about 20 minutes away Aras the fort along the main road. To the beach one must go down about .100m from the hotel. The beach consists of a small bay thus walks along the beach are excluded. The beach chairs at the beach are fee. The hotel ferfügt plenty of free beach chairs in the area. read more

The hotel was so far ok.
There were mainly elderly people and mixed nationalities.
We booked half board and changed to all inclusive as it was too expensive.
Cleanliness wasn't the main thing here.
Please do not forget your adapter, there was only an English socket/outlet.
If you wanted to use the refrigerator you had to pay an extra fee of 2€ per day, the safe had to be paid for as well as the beach towels. read more
