Hotel Atlantica Porto Bello Beach^{(4 stars)}

I had concerns initially, as we would be without great reflection, a best price room had booked. Afterwards may I then here, that this not so great are. Our room was to the hotel driveway. This us however at all did not disturb us, since a large planted lawn between them lay and to the other in particular Evenings more peace was as rooms in the direction pool or bar. Our room was big enough and every day really thoroughly cleaned ( for us the most important thing). The room was perhaps not entirely 4-star standard, for this price but absolutely okay.

Was also here for everyone at any time of the day something for everyone. Small point of criticism: I would have liked a bit more typical greek cuisine desired.

There was really no faults. And contrary to some previous reviews here I must say, that we had with German no problems had. Exception was the hotel doctor, the spoke English. But I think abroad you must now expect.

Pool was great and sport, animation was to our taste in just the right extent offered. Something for everyone, but not pushy or annoying.

Wonderful garden area, great beach hotel, you in Greece really rarely and beautiful pool. Everything very child-fairly arranged. The underpass to the beach.

It is really far out, but we had known and completely aware dialed, as you with small children evenings rather less and the Peace prefers. Who nevertheless in the site would: hotel bus and public bus drive several times daily.

A main restaurant with good food however not very varied, two further restaurants the space must. Restaurants in the clean state kitchen style landesttypisch but also european. Loose unobtrusive atmosphere.

Very friendly staff with little German speaking knowledge, proper daily room clean.

As all inclusive complex can only be recommended. Clean large room, daily wet mopped, tv reception is bad, lots of guests from Russia, Italy. Lots of small children, choice of food reasonable.

A few hundred meters to the beach, about 3 kilometer next place is nice to walk. Excursions historical cities by bus, taxi, rental car possible. Light mountainous area in nähster environment however for hiking very hot.

Our room had wonderful view of the sea. It was equipped with tiles, the every day fresh were wiped. In the bathroom were unfortunately 1-2 tiles something damaged. But that didn't bother us. The bed was big enough, al cover there was only a sheet, but given the temperatures at night (it cools down not so really off (I wouldn't have thought) was adequate. We also found negative, that you in the room only electricity had, if you room key with the trailer in a holder put, so that a contact was occupied. So you could electrical device only at night, store, and the air conditioning you could during the day also not let it run, accordingly stickig were the temperatures if you from the beach into the room came. A small negative point was otherwise the prior to the patio door no mosquito screen or similar was, so that the mosquitoes enters could. Apart from that is the room really absolutely sufficient. One more point to greek use: toilet paper in Greece not in the toilet thrown, but in a danebenstehenden bucket.

There are 4 different restaurants: the fish restaurant only open for lunch. The limoncello is an Italian restaurant, and then there was a greek tavern as the main restaurant. In the main restaurant is the food as a buffet offered. Who now think: oh delicious greek food is unfortunately a bit disappointed. We stayed in our vacation (10 days) just once Gyros get (was somehow merwürdiger way from hackfleisch was?) and 2 times souvlaki. Tzatziki there were only without garlic but with tidy dill. Otherwise one can say that the food very heavily on the Italian guests is oriented. For lunch there were, as well as evenings always pasta and pizza. Evenings there were appropriate themes evenings: for example Italy night - there, there are then still so 1-2 dishes matching the issues. But really greek was now really not. In terms of taste, the food was however always really delicious, dekorationsmäßig was really something for the eye was offered and the service was always hard the guests satisfied. If you are not have many demands is the food really more than enough. Which one in any case should do is, the greek tavern in the hotel to visit. The chef there really makes an effort and the dishes really all delicious.

The staff we met was very nice. The manager of the hotel stood at almost every meal at the entrance from the main restaurant and welcomed the people. The staff at reception spoke good German and worried immediately about each desire what you have had. Cleaning of the rooms is every day carried out have been ( towels are changed every day) otherwise is every day been swept.

We had booked all inclusive, that is for this hotel definitely recommendable. There were 3 different bars. In the beach bar you could soft drinks, as well as Cola itself from a ' zapfautomaten ' take. The cocktails are also very recommendable. Wi-fi you can in the whole hotel unfortunately only in the field of lobby use. What really a bit annoying were the Russian and Italian holidayers. The italians are but more and more widespread, the temper you get unfortunately sometimes more frequently to feel.

The hotel itself has nearly only over bungalow room, if you the room 521 get in our opinion almost a 6. the lottery, this room has the direct view on the pool and further behind on the mediterranean sea. Great! The beach is directly through an underpass. On the sand you can walk pleasantly (is however fast very hot) the way into the sea is completely rocks or similar exempt. Very a long way from the beach way you can still stand, and the water is crystal clear. The location of the hotel is really totally reasonable. With the hotel own bus can you several times a day free to kardamena and also picked up again. In kardamena there is almost everything the tourist heart desires. Lots of small cute taverns at the port, the prices there are ok. From the beach point we believe it with us at the hotel almost at the prettiest on Kos was. Only a bit further in direction kardamena are thick slabs on the banks, so that a bathing there is impossible. In the north the island is the beach full of silt or similar we were with our beach very satisfied.

We had a double room with A view of the garden. On arrival, we should then initially a room in the main building get, but we didn't like very much, since we the hotel precisely because the bungalows had booked. Of al we this at the front desk as said, we were a family room with a view of the sea the exchange offered. The room was great location, with lateral view of the sea. In the room were three beds, a closet, as well as dresser with a tv and fridge. The room was clean. The mattresses were a little hard, but that is often the case. The bathroom was reasonable, but could eventually be renovated. But overall we felt here very well. The air conditioner was free, it worked but unfortunately only, if the key has been inserted. Thus it was not possible, the area in absence to cool. The room was every day cleaned and fresh towels provided.

There are four restaurants. A fish- a greek and a Italian and furthermore the main restaurant. Since we only the latter visited, we can the other give any information. The quality of the meals was good to very good. There was lots of different salads, fruit, breads and nachtischmöglichkeiten ( cakes, ice, creams...). For breakfast there was the typical English things, such as eggs, beans and bacon. Furthermore many sweet kleingebäcke, breads/ rolls and sweet spreads. Unfortunately there was only a cheese- and two types of sausage, also the whole week just stayed. For someone, gladly hearty is, that is not so nice. There was also fruits and freshly baked pancakes. With the lunch and dinner there was something for everyone. It was also relatively varied, but some things already repeated, which but also is ok. The waiters and chefs were all very nice and at all times on the spot. Drinks you could on vending machines in the form of soft drinks, juices and beer and wine get.

Excellent service! Without exception friendly and very helpful staff. We have rearly seen such nice hotel staff met and we were absolutely comfortable. Even if sometimes, for example evenings in the hotel bar, stressful and busy, were the service still in a good mood and up for a joke.

The pool was nice large and interesting. The water was very clean. However is the pool with sea water filled, which not all like. There is also a extra children's pool and a small jacuzzi. Every day there were day and evening entertainment. Unfortunately there were everyday the same sports program. Here I had a bit more desired. There was just beach volleyball, water aerobics, Boccia and table tennis. You could however also selbstänsig pool or tennis can play, with the pool table while we were there was broken. The hotel has three bars. One in the interior, a beach bar and a pool bar, at which also in the water can sit. The drinks were good. One could from various cocktailsorten and there were also warm drinks and delicious frappe (iced coffee). Evenings you can still nice at the beach bar sit or above in the hotel on the terrace. In the interior area are two tv with some German channels. Here you wi-fi.

The hotel normally we really liked. It was a very nice, well-kept complex with a great beach section. There are nearly nothing negative to say. In the criticizing it concerns details, the our vacation but not cloudy could!

On a wonderful beach section located. The water is here crystal clear and the beach consists of fine sand. One can meter far into the water enter, so it even for children is suitable. To the nearest place, kardamena, are it about 3 kilometers. This is feasible on foot, but there is no beautiful way to get there, since one directly at a dusty street goes. Generally the countryside around the hotel sparse and not nice. Kardamena you can see, during the day but it is not too impressive. Evenings we didn't visit.

The furniture the room is already somewhat older, however in good condition. Air conditioning available, satellite-tv with 5 german channels. There is also a safe, but unfortunately 30 Euro costs. We have nevertheless taken. We had a huge balcony with a wonderful view. The family room is very spacious.

There are 4 restaurants (italian, greek, fish restaurant and the main restaurant with 2 terraces). The quality of the food is very good and there is never a bottleneck, as they were constantly refilled and new grilled. The cleanliness in the restaurant is excellent. International cuisine.

The hotel offers a extremely good service in all areas. The communication worked in german and english excellent. Especially worth mentioning is the always consistent friendliness of the staff.

Also here a large offer. However, we have never by the pool located, but only on the beautiful beach and sea. The water quality was apparently very good, the beach always clean. The loungers are free and sufficiently available. Reservation with towels here is really not necessary.

We had again a family room with beautiful view of the sea and the hotel. The cleanliness was very good. Towels and bed sheets were constantly changed. We had all-inclusive and were with the food - from breakfast till for dinner - very satisfied. At the beach-, as well as the pool bar we were always very friendly with drinks and snacks. Since in the hotel at this time very much older guests can hang out, it would be desirable, if a diet corner available. Very mixed guest structure: german, austrian, swiss, italian and russian. The average age at the end of september was at around 45 to 50 years.

The shuttle from the airport is approximately 15 minutes. The next town - kardamena-is about 6 kilometers away. It drives a shuttle bus. To Kos (city) it was about 25 kilometer. also here a bus, for you at the front desk login (9 Euro). In the hotel there is a shop, where one the most important things for daily use, as well as souvenirs could be bought. There are very many interesting excursion possibilities, the with the travel guide can be booked.

We got a suite, although we only a double room booked, it was great with wonderful sea view!

We were thrilled from the fine, varied food. It had always plentifully and were very the cleanliness carefully. Also at the various bars one always accommodating service, various cocktails, so delicious, true in the all inclusive package. Also kindercocktails it had sufficient, very much to the joy of my daughter.

The staff were friendly and courteous. Only our maid took it with the cleaning of the toilet not so exactly.

Entertainment was friendly and not pushy, good sporting activities. Evening entertainment we didn't visit. The beach was very clean and it was enough chairs and sun screens. The sea is brilliant!

We spend a wonderful vacation in a great hotel!

The location is great, directly on the wonderful sandy beach with gently sloping sea, great even for children. The airport is also not far, so with noise from the planes to be expected, but we didn't mind that. Kardamena is hotel bus or on foot in 3 kilometer to reach.

It has almost everything always very tasty tasted, food was always warm, was quickly refilled, children always find something you liked (noodles, pizza...) , there is until: o'clock drinks, cocktails freshly prepared, verschiederne theme nights ( mexikascher, Italian, greek evening)

Nice waiter, always a smile on the lips, quick in clearing away, always a table for the food found, dishes always clean

Unfortunately the evening entertainment was only in Italian/English, entertainers but always very friendly, at the beach always enough sunbeds, canoe and paddleboat free of charge to borrow, beautiful beach bar

Nice hotel with a lot of green, a short way to the beach, great sea view and nissyros, clear water, hotel lies in the entry lane to the airport, we found it but they were not disturbing (few airplanes), rather interesting

Although we so-called 'low-cost' - rooms had, it was quiet, we had sufficient space three in a room, the way to the beach not more than other room and there was always (!) top clean: no mold in the bathroom (which at hotels in warm countries rarely is ), every day fresh towels, etc. Everything looked as newly renovated from. Air conditioning, small terrace, fridge, safe ( against a small extra charge) and tv with 5 German programs were available.

Next to the normal, international' restaurant it is possible for the next day a table in a ( respectively 2) the altogether 3 theme restaurants to reserve. For the evening is possible a grieschisches or an Italian restaurant and for lunch a fish restaurant available. Cleanliness, service, quality of the food, and so on, and so on: all great! There is in the evening a bar in the lobby and from 10 (?) hours early morning is the swim-in-bar open, which naturally also taken into account will be without one into the water should;-) The beach bar is also the whole day open, there is also snacks like ice, cakes or sandwiches. Also here: everything was great.

The service was always to: the cleaning lady was almost invisible but always thoroughly, the staff in the various restaurants without exception friendly and accommodating and also at the bars the staff were always in a good mood and polite. Another plus point: almost all rich (brittle) English a conversation or wishes to comment, etc. With complaints professional handled. Experience I vacation: a German family with two kids had really everything (!) somewhat to complain about and always complaining. As the hotel manager this professional to, the father a brawl with the manager want. Understandably, this family asked the hotel as soon as possible to leave.

As I have already mentioned is the entertainment in Italian respectively English. There are the usual offers such as Boccia, beach volleyball, cocktail game, water aerobics, etc. And it will not further annoyed/harassed when you say you have no desire to participate. The salt water pool is great, relatively large; numerous loungers are available ( with umbrella respectively canopy). The beach is the part of a 'bridge' full, so that one does not have the complete way of the underpass to the water on the hot sand have to cover. Also is the beach, like the pool area, completely clean. Sandy beach without gravel, no rock in the absolutely clear water ( also here is the pbb again the only to kardamena, the no slabs in the water has ), loungers with sun screens, etc. : exceptionally beautiful! The way of the pool to the beach takes about 2 minutes, at the pool as well as at the beach is a shower. Water sports like banana boat, jet ski, tretboot is cheap. Evenings after the mini -disco another animation in the theater, the very entertaining and fun. Otherwise ( especially for the younger generation ): free of charge wi-fi in the lobby, so when demand smartphone, iPad or laptop do not forget ;-)

I (17) I with my mother and a good friend (18 ) 9 days all inclusive vacation in Porto Bello beach and was pleasantly surprised. The size of the hotel is completely reasonable, the room was in great condition and always clean. Apart from this, that too many italians their holidays there and therefore also the entertainment Italian was ( however one comes even with a broken English), there was almost nothing to complain about.

The pbb is the penultimate a row at hotels on a relatively quiet street ( a bus per hour) and together with the neighboring Porto Bello royal (5 stars ) the only(!) the for the guests an underpass has laid down, in all other hotels you have the road to cross to the beach to come. Kardamena is approximately 10 minutes out and the shuttle bus-bus is for the hotel guests free of charge. This drives from to o'clock almost hourly after kardamena, where you also port to Kos (city) has, and again to pbb. Kardamena is no city, offers but nevertheless plentiful shops and bars. Excursions can both in the tour operator ( in my case FTI) or directly be booked in kardamena. The only fault is, that the pbb right in the entry lane and you therefore from about 8 until o'clock about all 2 hours watch, like a plane about the hotel fly. But: from second day you can hear the almost not more and it is rather interesting and exciting as disturbing!
