Avoid ! Organized gang is robbing a part of your cash from your room safe what works "by your own code only".
If you don't know how much you have exactly and don't count it day by day (several times), you never learn you are robbed. It has happened to me twice. 1st.time after counting my money before buying something for my son,the safe door was closed, so I thought I must have made a mistake, I was not right, I must have brought 60,-EUR less from home. 2 days later, the last day of our holiday ..., getting back to our room after lunch. we found the door of our room safe open, counting my cash there was another 35,-EUR part missing, anything else was untouched. I had a policeman called, of course no one believed me, I took my time with translating and explaining my story in vain till 10PM. After a certain time I became the bad guy, who "made a song and dance" about it. The only thing I wanted was to inform the police of an unknown robber. It was denied, I should have accused a certain person anyway.
My passport was taken away for a while and I was told I wouldn't be able to fly home the following early dawn for going to the court with the accused person and an interpreter.
Finally I got my passport back, I wrote a report in english, the young manager translated it to arabic what was written down once more by the police officer. After the safe, the door and balcony of our room were checked late evening, I was let and could begin to prepare leaving the hotel soon.
Despite my several requests I was not allowed to get any copy of this report what I had to sign, even a certain code number I was promised to get. Hopefully the translation was correct, though I think there is no point of the whole thing.
I think if they rob only 5-6 rooms per day this way, it must be a good tip supplement !
Otherwise everything else was OK: weather, food, etc, though the pools could have been cleaner. read more

I was already 2009 in sharm el sheikh were there but more germans there. Now there are except russians, italians and dutch hardly other nationalities. German why hardly a lane. The hotel is in need of renovation and the chef needs to be replaced. Nearly everything tasted the same. The waiters Tarek and Ahmed are quite good. For one week short break i would book it again but as more week annual leave not recommendable. Oh so the alleged 4.5 stars are there definitely not. Maximum three stars read more

For replacement of the dining room (kernsanierung) we had 2 weeks from 8 to 19 o'clock construction noises. If dust from sägearbeiten, hammering or stench from wood preservatives directly on of the terrace where the guests breakfast has was, or the lackierarbeiten to the walls of the pool, the considerable disorders and malaise led, also after complaints don't bother!
We have 2 times the room changed, but could the noise unfortunately not escape.
From 10 o'clock until 18 o'clock was techno (boom boom ) by the pool played, which from 21 o'clock until 1 hour repeated.
Those who seek peace ... and quiet you will not find it!
At the beach, the nothing special it was beautiful, from peace no trace! Tootling from all sides as on the kirmes!
The food was after a week also not more to enjoy.
Nearby reef was not there!
The kitesurfstation was good, with great service! In lee to approximately 350 meters an approximately 800 meters long jetty with schwächelden wind in the way!
The kiting there wants, is in the neighboring hotel in regency better waived!
90% were guests from Russia locally, as you know, that it is not much peace there is!

We stayed there for 3 weeks and it was perfect.
The service is great. Everyone strives to please us to help and it was missing to us at nothing. No matter where you go it is all very clean and well-kept.
Even the beach was in the morning swept and also the paths were always with a high pressure wipers cleaned. Not understandable for us as most people everything bad talking. Christmas buffet was great. New year's eve was wonderful. Better also in Europa either. Just a pity that we at the front desk very rude and arrogant treatment. A ... please laughed it off. This man is at the wrong place.
We would gladly again the public holiday stay there.

We have already been in march 2012 stayed at the Tropicana Sea Beach. This time we were three weeks there, and the for christmas and new year's 2012/13. we liked it again good, we can almost say, that the winter vacation was even better than in the spring of 2012. The complete staff knew us all and thus were preferred. Also on arrival in the hotel were again recognized and a great room with sea and pool view on the 3. floor get, thanks to a mail to the second general manager mr. K. as mentioned the room was great ... nice. Unfortunately the cleaner not the best, but not in the form of cleaning, but because of constant tipping, and something i like not at all. But that is what we have on our art taken care of. The weather was very good. The food was still very good to good. The christmas buffet found by the pool with great show. For the new year's eve was extra a tent directly at the beach set up. The new year's buffet was just great. Both events were very nice and well organized. The hotel was also not quite fully about only 60% occupancy.
Conclusion:
It was once again a great vacation with many nice people. Price was perfect. 930,00 Euro per person for three weeks and the over merry christmas and happy new year. We are this christmas and new year's eve back since. read more

A beautiful, large pool area, in which the late riser find a chair. It's been 'restored' when i was there, which i but not further dramatically found! The construction noise is very good to get away from it all-in case of emergency to the beach or in the inclusive unique aquapark.
The food was plentiful and way too good. Very nice decorations garnishing the buffet.
You'll find mainly couples between 30 and 60, as well as families with children. read more

Booked: double room for single use with sea view. Room as booked with described extras and very clean, after the cleaner has changed. The first was very pushy, lazy and demanded more tip. The 2. the exact opposite was, and it was worth it for him. In the restaurant was the staff very attentive and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. After the chef has changed, was the food nor much better.
Disadvantages: construction site at the restaurant around, also during the meal times. General was the half hotel not finished yet or already again in renovation. The ... proportion of russian guests was around 80 to 90%, which the volume of the whole area we paidand represented. The entertainment team spoke mainly russian and italian. German not at all, but english.
The pier to the nearby reef is still not completed. You want other benefits, must be paid.
Snorkelling trips to rhas Mohammed or tiran Iceland are great, if you are not lots of people with on board and this also on the reef can. Excursions through the desert with the quad also very recommendable.
General prices in the malls are like in Europa, very high. By the russians, many places are not more action, the shopping not so exciting power. To act the old market! All together good hotel. A lot of employees were hard, some of them were very unmotivated. Complaints were mostly quickly fixed. Some should be fixed ( pool tiles, pool are. Safety bars by the pool edge) but is still in green surroundings area. Hotel is always clean kept. Our room 2352 was large and clean, our roomboy was perfect! We had almost every day beautiful towel Figures and with tips is of course everything better. For the food we have not all stand but it was OK. Sea you could not directly benefit, no private Hotel Steg available, either neighboring ... hotel jetties for a fee use or transfer to the sister hotel free of charge. Have several excursions made, mostly from tour operator more expensive than from vendors the a on the street are offered, both but good.
