The orinoco delta lodge currently has 37 bungalows. In the main building right on the river the restaurant is, the kitchen, a bar with the reception and the lobby accommodated. The bungalows are over the entire area spread and easy-even after the usual short downpours- bretterpfaden distance. Since the lodge was not on the grid is tied up, where electricity with a private generator and the entire area thus supplied. So electricity scarce and during the night not available. All bungalows have a bulb, but only faint smolders and one is well advised, a powerful flashlight mitzuhaben. There is no ... plug socket. The batteries for phone or camera can a charging station next to the bar restock. At about 10:00 p. m. the electricity completely turned off. The paths to the bungalows from dusk with numerous torches lit. The guests come from all parts of the world, striking is certainly a large percentage from Eastern Europe and the former soviet union. The lodge is specifically for rundreisetouristen very popular and the groups generally 1-3 days. The hotel is very well-kept, there is really nothing to complain about. read more

I had the bungalow number 27 with two beds and a bathroom, that means shower and toilet. During my stay lived in two frogs the toilet-shell. The exterior walls were make only from moskitogitter, so you from the in the neighborhood lying bungalows all the noises listened.

Because of the relatively short stay i had only dinner and breakfast. The food we served at the plate. Our group even caught piranhas were on request on the next day for breakfast fried are served. In the restaurant there is a bar, where the drinks consumed to the room noted and before departure with 10% surcharge be billed.

The bungalow was in a clean state met. Here there is nothing to complain about. The girls at the bar and reception spoke next to spanish also spoke english and italian and as many multilingual tour guides on the way it is not a problem to be understood.

The lodge is remote in the middle in the jungle in the delta and is only with motorboats distance. Boca de uracoa is the arrival about an hour. One comes with the airplane in the delta, so land one usually in tucupita and it is only with the boat to the lodge.

A night in the middle in the jungle the Orinoco Delta I was never ever so great imagined! Already the arrival with the speedboat is an experience, makes fun and one sees something from the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. The bungalows were great, sometimes completely different. Although it is only functional ( double bed, 2 single beds, table, chair, bathroom), but with flair. Privacy does not exist, since the walls from fly lattices exist, but the bothered us not, but it made to a great experience. The complex is very lovingly decorated ... with countless flowers and plants laid out. There are many hammocks and even a Puma-enclosure. The 3 hotel dogs are sweet and affectionate. The views and setting was fantastic. Swimming in the Orinoco is safe and that is why we have also made. From time to time is the current quite strong, there one must watch out. Evenings we had a romantic dinner on the jetty, which was beautiful. We had great experiences with the two Wasserschweinen, the visit came and rumba, the parrot. At night it is very dark and torches on the way ahead. In the bungalow there are 1 lamp and candles. The noise window blind is crass, but you need not be frightened. Is only unaccustomedly. All together we were really amazed this unconventional accommodation, a definitely the memory remains! This was one of the highlights of our round trip and we can only recommend it! read more

We were 1 night in the middle nature pure relaxation. Since you're in the middle in the jungle is- great service! Food and drinks - delicious. We found the accommodations excellent -you have to keep in mind-a very strong jungle (clean and nice equipped - no choice Walls-only gauze and curtains as blind. Bathroom: even toilet -i expected worse and shower, washbasin and mirror). We had a Frog in the bathroom and a bat in the room (was immediately from the staff in freedom skilled). After 23:00 (generator) no electricity, but Candles in the room and oil lamps on ... the paths for orientation. About 4:30 A. M. was the night past (howler monkeys, birds, etc.-but great). We have bed from sunrise experienced together. it was a great stay -we wanted nature (and would have liked to have 1-2 nights remained). read more
