The hotel consists of two structurally related parts. The rights of the hotel is the 'old', original part, while the left part bought with it, and probably is. The hotel seemed classy, the entrance area is spacious and functional. The guests were international and of all age groups. With us was the breakfast buffet including, the i can also only for a good start to the day recommend.
The elevator in the left and 'new' part was adventurous: a sign was this for 2 people and 150 kilogram free! Er yes. Now. My wife and i and bags. But-several times! ... No risk-no fun ☺! read more

A really recommendable hotel in the center of Wien. In spite of the great location is price great. Due to the location in a side alley also wdnig traffic, are also the rooms pleasant silent. Parking lot there is enough, however these are just in the center but a bit more expensive. Here, a park & ride - complex recommend and with the public or with the taxi to the hotel go. The nightlife from Wien from here you can best explore, you're nearly right inside. The Stephansdom and Carinthian street, as well as the gap are in a few ... minutes easy to reach on foot. read more

The Tigra is a nice, small hotel in Vienna city center. Many sights and the Carinthian street are on foot within less minutes to reach.
our room was very large, mordernly decorated and also quiet convenient, only the bathroom was tiny. Two of us could be difficult to stop, as well as in the lift to our room. But that was not really bothering.
the breakfast was very extensive, only available in the breakfast area the tables too close together and it was also quite noisy.
only really it disturbed us, that we check in not on it attention, that ... it is not possible is, the garage at the weekend to the special price by the hotel. Also the gentleman was at the front desk not very friendly, when we ask for one.
we then had to unfortunately the total rate therefor pay, as the Woe no cashier in the garage sits, at the privilege gets. read more

DAS Tigra is a small hotel with a great location, city center immediately to walk reachable. The hotel was already older, the furnishing renewed, the age of the building, however, but not a problem. Especially the very comprehensive and good breakfast! And the very friendly staff. We were for a long time in any hotel with such a friendly staff. The stay was very pleasant, we will definitely be back. read more

Location is everything in a city break! In this sense, the hotel is absolutely recommended.
Otherwise businesslike cool, sometimes reserved, room service inexperienced and late in the day.
Breakfast room very cramped conditions, but absolutely satisfying and offer fresh fruit salad is the best.
Room/bathroom was big enough for a city break on each case and clean.
For a city break room with breakfast at this location a recommendation. read more

The above features a very indifferent dining and image of the hotel and that is exactly what it has, also for us. The sign of the hotel on the deep divide in Vienna is definitely a very central location. In only five to ten (fast, comfortable) minute walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral and the main square in the centre of Vienna. When we arrived the front desk tried very hard wikte, still not finished the room as quickly as possible by the maids to be ready. Also in the following days was at the reception with the exception of a ... arrogant tranquil employee always friendly and tried, to answer our questions as well. The maid seemed overstrained and they have unfortunately something in a hurry, the one or other stain, etc. overlooked. But I would like to make it clear, that this is not a criticism of the room maids should be, in my view, it is planning a management shows. Planning a is, in my opinion, also, that it in the hotel only one elevator, which leads from the lobby to the floors and this almost inevitably with a full house often very long waits for the result. Since we had booked with breakfast per, we cannot judge may be offered a lunch/dinner not. The breakfast room was unfortunately also not so clean, like one it in his holiday wishes. Here are some examples: on the lampshade on the breakfast buffet dust collected on, in my opinion, not been removed at least 1 week was. The reactor has seen buffet table for a long time no washing machine probably more inside and the period showed the appropriate signs of usage. The definitely sufficient existing staff managed it not, the dirty dishes or abandoned tables quickly and set them again. More also on the soil lying dirt parts (handkerchief, 1 rolls, etc.) so I guess to all guests noticed, but unfortunately not from the service employees or worse still, you have noticed it and it have just ignored. The juices were any concentrates, the scrambled egg could still 1a two minutes in the pan, the sausage and ham was each day the same selection and the coffee was arranged and very aqueous. Good was the bread and roll choice, the teeauswahl, the choice of sweet spreads and the Müslisortiment. In addition to the the staff three times in our week clearly audible in dispute over competences and that, in the meantime, the already poor service did not more took place. For me an absolute " no go '.
In conclusion, I can say, that the hotel the Tigra ' in the deep trench best Western in Vienna is very centrally located, a generally good-hour reception has, in my view, but otherwise has made the hotel management in many fields of his job or not for a long time not more. A maid makes for more relaxation, more efficiency and more cleanliness in each. It is definitely the task of management, in every area, the respective competences, to determine clearly, to avoid these debates before the guests to and to create a clear structure and tasks to make sure it would be the task therefore a parent/leader in on things such as cleanliness, abandoned tables and table-ware used and the staff on the relevant issues. read more

The immediate area of the hotel (deep ditch), is not particularly attractive, but but not far from the center (stephansplatz, freyung). The nearest underground station is about three (herrengasse) minutes away. The room (224) was big enough and cleaned perfect, but not very tastefully decorated is what but of course a matter of taste. The breakfast was good and was constantly refilled, however, the staff seemed overstrained house something when fully booked. read more

Hotel facilities was very much in order and the breakfast very rich. If you didn't find anything here and full blame is is itself!

The hotel has a perfect location, in the city center. It is situated in a silent street close to Am Hof and Graben. Kartner Strasse, the famous shopping street and several monuments (for example Stephansdom) to see are also near. The nearest metro station, Herrengasse is only some minutes to walk. You can find several restaurants and cafes close the hotel. We received only breakfast in the hotel, it was delicious and had a vast variety, but it was about the same type and quality as you can get in other 4* hotels in Western Europe. The hotel staff was ... helpful and polite but a bit cool in my point of view. The majority of the guests were businessmen during the weekdays. read more
