DasKo TAO cabana is a great hotel in a massive garden area directly at the end of sairee beach. We had a white sand beachfront bungalow, the very well and was very nice. Nicely equipped, very big and also the cleanliness was perfect! The beach with day beds was great, the service excellent. In the meantime there was a great pool - is really worth seeing. The dishes, drinks and the service in the restaurant were very good. The restaurant is really excellent and is probably the best part of this beach. The spa area of the hotel really recommendable ... nonetheless. I think the cabana really great-it is a beautiful, as on the homepage presented. read more

the complex all in all is great. Very extensive and the cottages are also partly beautifully far apart. We stayed in a sunset villa, which offers a fantastic view over the entire beach granted. Rumfletzten on the beach chairs a must. The size the cottages is good and the view in the morning - head elevate the pillows and the ocean. Only to criticize are strict meal times. Yes, what do I say, great. It pleased us there very good loved it. The nearby riff direct before the nose, the possibility of the beach direct from to snorkeling. The rooms are also very tastefully furnished. The Open air shower an experience. To celebrate the beach is ideal. We had the white sand bungalow, other guests the wooden houses at the reef had, have complained over the nocturnal parties at the beach and their volume. The hotel complex has correctly flair. Pleasant staff and good, cheap food. We had a white sand villa, the was round. The shower as to the part. Open-air shower designate, which I pleased. Cleanliness was okay, free Wi-Fi ( only was the welcoming at the reception the best). We were the whole day snorkeling. On the beach, there was many loungers. Which we didn't mind, was the music from the neighboring hotel, the whole night ran. We would further to the rear pulled in another category, we would have surely less noise belongs. The pool was in the December still ... under construction. read more

A dream hotel as it is described in the book! We have our three nights we had booked two rangehangen! We had a cottage with sea view on the hill. Super beautiful view from the hammock on the terrace, as well as from the bed of the turquoise sea. Cottage was super clean and large with all the frills. Hair dryer, mosquito spray, lotion, bathrobes, slippers, DVD rental service. Etc. The bath was open air with rain shower. Great! The restaurant of the hotel was according to our opinion the Best Thai aufKo TAO! The breakfast was great too! You ... could choose between American, Thai or pancake breakfast and you could fruit, salad, fresh juices, coffee, bread, jam and honey from a small buffet take. The beach was super nice and as soon as you enter it has, the service came immediately and brought mattresses and pillows. Really great! For children under the age of ten years I think the facility would be nothing, since there is no play area or anything else is available. But for couples a dream!'!

Koh tao is rather which for back packer than for normal tourists in ko tao cabana is one of the better Hotel on the island.
We had a beachfront cottage with view of the sea what was absolutely fantastic.
Unfortunately, this pleasure denied there at our time a lot of good places in the dark and you could only stay inside.
The cottages have a shower and toilet, the sink is in the room.
the room itself is great because you in the morning right on the great bay can see, unfortunately there is no real closet, we stayed in ... five days stay lived out of our suitcase anyway so it didn't matter.
The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were good.
The restaurant was directly above the beach with a great view.
The beach is nice but unfortunately the tides are in ko tao so the water at low tide, and about one hundred meters at high tide only until the hip of a full-sized human.
The managed but as it is currently building a pool, this is the end of the year finished his.
The walk to shopping and restaurants and bars is not an issue.
Throughout the bay, there were several restaurants and hintzer this is a kind of promenade at the shops will have made their homes.
Walk to the 'capital' but it is nevertheless good 45 minutes.
It is a good idea to rent a scooter and explore the island on your own. read more

The cabana was unfortunately nothing for us. Construction stayed in the pool area a bit annoying, on the beach, you could hear the work. Smells very strongly of the fish. Breakfast quite early, as 30 minutes before the breakfast was over we have only eggs with bacon no bread etc. get the combination of the three varieties of a la carte breakfast habituation needy fries are not everyone's thing... read more

We had booked white sand, beach front, round large bungalow.
at the Entrance had a shower. So you can wash the sand from the beach goes before you. Bungalow, shower and toilet were clean, the bed was a big mosquito net. Balcony with view of the gardens and the beach.
The choice of food in the restaurant was like the food was good.
Buffet breakfast with fruits, juices, jam, butter, toast...

The beaches on the island were total dirty as the thais have begun there wastewater to lead into the sea. Skunk stench, dead animals and chemically textbooks water... Just disgusting.
By the pictures from other guests was 2010 nothing more desired.
We are a few beaches, but all were total filthy...

We loved our beach front cabana total probably felt. Everything was incredibly comfortable and nicely designed. We had already from the bed 160° practice view of the sea. (Quite good. )
The whole could only be topped, at the end of the holiday that we got an upgrade and two days in the 360° sunset pool villa could spend. The stay here was absolutely amazing! It is a large bungalow (with two bedroom/bathrooms) with a half in a wonderful private tropical garden is located. On the other hand, is a large terrace, the right imbedded in the rocks. (With a ... view to the end of the world.)
I could now three hours, but I think there are better photos.
The only drawback was the nightly music noise, but there is ear plugs. read more

Hotel with a great atmosphere, but on the beach there is louder than in bangkok on a main road! There are all day long tail boats (without 'scarf cushion') of the beach some diving areas, And so on.. The cottages are on the edge of the town on a hill and you can still walk on the beach in the place, where there are plenty of offers. Often one had a beautiful view. The bungalows are equipped with much love for detail-from wood-and outdoor bathroom is really cool! The staff is extremely accommodating and really tried to meet your every need. We had a bungalow on the hill above, you have to be able to walk well, enjoys a beautiful view and nature pure. The only downer of our stay was, that in the night the music from ... the local Disco-due to the wind-factor was. The beach and the sea was beautiful, the snorkeling there is not so much to see, but you can take a long-tail boat-right-in front of the hotel beach. read more

At the end of the beach a beautiful resort with bungalows directly on the beach. Room, dining and the beach were okay but the service was always tried to bring you what, you had ordered and managed it also occasionalbad English knowledge of the staff were. Therefor the cause, not the will. Also we booked on site and therefor it was much too expensive. read more

We had first booked five nights at the hotel and the rest of the four nights at the cabana wanted, we are seeking on ko tao had, spontaneously suburb. The cabana is in the proportion not the cheapest you can get, but in afterwards we still said: we would have spent more and therefor Nights at the cabana booked!
The resort has a great atmosphere. As it was at the end of this longest nördlchen of ko tao beach (sairee beach) is, the private beach is really quite privately, there are seldom people to 'at the end of the' get ... lost. The sand is not necessarily the most efficient, but therefor you have great pool chairs and get if you would like to put the beach towels and sarongs. Furthermore, one must only a little by the very shallow water wade, the deeper water may well be a very good snorkeling. The staff in general, it is front desk, in the restaurant or on the beach, is total friendly and nice, even if not many speak English well. We stayed in a ocean view cottage and were very pleased. The view from this cottage on stilts in the sea was worth it in any case, even if you from the beach and the front desk have to walk up the hill a bit. The cottage itself was furnished nicely, not luxurious but very appealing when it. From above opened Bathroom had a completely special charm, even if sometimes leaves purely blew a spider or you may have had the opportunity to meet. Therefor at the The view of the 'jungle' ☺ Location wise the cabana is not centrally located, if you want to be independent from the resort and the local (very recommendable but a bit more expensive) restaurant you should rent a scooter or a quad. To the next town (sairee village) is only a few minutes. For us the stay was stay the cabana was very nice. For families with children is the cabana according to our opinion not so recommendable, since children probably still not satisfied with a great location and great atmosphere. As we have seen for children not really gaming action. For couples but definitely recommended ☺
Minor drawbacks: sairee village or elsewhere in a beach party took place, you could hear it in the cabana despite distance very much, if the wind is in the wrong direction. This could disturb at night sometimes. Furthermore, the light in the cottages is very weak, at least if you get closer the mirrors etc. would like. There had one during the day then already times with tran por animal bare mirror to the outside, to complicated to make ☺ At long last to disadvantages: the free wi-fi is very slow. But if you want in the holiday be constantly on the internet! And finally: the hotel's own Spa is amazing. You get a voucher for a welcome 15 minute Massage, and we were misled, a bit more (for Thai standards, for German there is still an incredible bits) and a 90 minute oil to make. Madness! (90 minutes = under 20 euro, in sairee village massages are also per hour from six euros, but they are not very inviting, as they are visible to the outside). read more
