The hotel is located within walking distance is not far from the railway station and is location wise for a city tour not bad. The area i would at night alone rather avoid. Reservation and front desk was absolutely okay. The room nothing special large, unfortunately it smelled extremely after cigarette (although non-smoking rooms). The view from the window showed a backyard and the other hotel rooms. In the toilet were clear usage, toilet seat not firmly installed. Breakfast was sturdy (not sweet), no positive experience, but it was ok. Conclusion: who the hotel for little money book and a ... few have expectations, drives certainly not go wrong. With sophisticated demands rather something else search! read more

All rooms have complimentary Wireless LAN, in front of the hotel is in summer a nice beer garden. Breakfast was OK, absolutely great value for money. Nice and clean and large rooms. The surrounding area is a little run down, but the hotel is really good. Railway station, City Center and the market are in about five to ten minutes walking. read more

We can recommend this hotel. As described, most warmly highly recommend. To be highlighted was the friendliness of the front deskStaff. Also for our problem they helped us immediately and offered a free call to Germany at. Why should I old city a hotel, if I at the hanza hotel the peace to sleep and still very central at the main bus station and main station am. From there you can easily go into all directions read more

Nice hotel, room was large and clean, bathroom with underfloor heating nice, not too big but ok. flat screen TV. with RTL front desk. Breakfast was ok. Not far ( 500 ) from Central stacja RIGA (train station). Good train line to Jurmala. About 12km from the airport (bus line 22 for about 1 Euro per person) read more

This is certainly a hotel to consider if you're visiting Riga. It's located in the centre of Riga and very convenient for restaurants, shops, and sites. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The check-in and out was quick and easy, one of teh best I have seen.
The rooms are large, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Only one thing missing for me, a kettle and a minibar, but you can have drinks at Hanza Pub. The main thing was the curteous service, helpful people and good quality rooms.
Breakfast, always a sign of a good hotel, is served ... in the Hanza Pub' its a buffet style with a wide range of hot and cold choices. If you decide you want breakfast, I'd suggest before 9. 30 because after that everyone seemed to arrive which made it too crowded for me. All in all, we enyojed the Hanza Hotel, a pleasant place to stay and a surprise at the price, a gem. read more
