We have 2 fantastic weeks on Cuba in Villa Tortuga spent. %blank% the location of the hotel(in comparison to the 5 stars hotels the currently still on a construction site or in the middle of nowhere are ), as well as excursion possibilities were great! To the center from Varadero you need around 10 minutes away on foot, everywhere but also taxis/coaches/ oldtimers the for a few cuc only on the tourists wait. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're lucky enough in a renovated room, you have little reason to complain, for three stars absolutely okay and clean. ... The older rooms are not so nice-we have for example our room changed, very unproblematic was. The food is took some getting used to. Although you always find something to some extent tastes, but the gourmets come and not at their expense. The selection was large and the dishes from the grill can often good. In summary a very lovely vacation in a star hotel, the its star definitely rating! read more

Never again this hotel. Service poor, food was cold. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired. For breakfast coffee lukewarm, juice was partly see drunk, since no glasses were available. read more

For a 3 star hotel was everything is great except for the food in the hotel! That was for us not enjoyable, well there are guests say you always find something. Tip as often as possible in the à la carte reserve it is enjoyable, but there are often the same selection. The staff were us opposite always very friendly and obliging. Our cleaning staff was a real sweetheart (has lovingly our laundry at home washed)! The animation was pleasant and not intrusive. Every evening there was a dance - entertainment show. Great location at the great beach. Shortcoming actually ... only the many beach chairs are broken, but there is the world's best massage at the beach of hotel (with every physio in Germany easily compete). No annoying beach vendors, except for a small car where you cocktails and drinks buy could and a nice older mr the salty peanuts sold. For shopping and other excursions is the location perfect, right at the start from Varadero. We had relaxing and erlebnissreiche 3 weeks in Cuba. Gladly we would have remained longer. Were on the day of our arrival annoyed! Are in Havana and had 2,5 hours bus ride before us! Then said our guide we take a break and then from 2,5 hours 3 hours at our arrival at 24 o'clock the staff was not more friendly! The check in ran smoothly but the room was clearly not what we had booked! Since we also no more water with us, we wanted to a bottle of water for the room at the lobby bar get! There was only water in plastic cups! On the question of a bottle there ... was only one incompetent answer! You had in the shop to buy (however, you can any time in the hotel refill)! On the next day we also smoothly our room change can! Had a beautiful room with view of the sea! The cleaning ladies were always friendly and gave their best! The staff at of the pool bar and beach bar was perfect friendly, however the staff was at the lobby bar and the manager very unfriendly (might better with tips)! The complex was clean and beautiful, that food was a disaster! The still have not even the cats and dogs on the hotel eaten! The beach is beautiful, enough chairs and sun screens! Bottom line, the hotel is okay and you better outside food! Would recommend the chinese lai lai, and the italians kikis! Not far away from the hotel and cheap! read more

The hotel is directly at the beach. Some of the food monotonous, it often repeated, the dishes like in Cuba usually lukewarm. The freshly prepared dishes at the plancha were varied and good and sufficient.
The cleaning of the room and bath was very good. Little masterpieces with the towels and ceilings.
The excursions were generally for the value too expensive. Trip to Havanna always with a classic undertake, is cheaper and better.
The loungers on the beach were in a desolate state ( 50% )
The ausre 3 ise from Cuba erfgordert much time and patience. It took 3 ... hours before you through the last inspection was
In short: Cuba is recommendable. Services for a 3 star hotel ok. read more

The complete staff is always friendly and worries about all concerns. Buffet was always first class presented, to the typical tourists came and themselves like schw. Mentioned (for example spoon of red sauce in the white diving etc.). Would the vacationers in this hotel more on their own cleanliness 8., would the buffet after half an hour still nice! So much for the bad reviews! Who Karibik knows, can imagine, that the food not so peppered is, like in Germany (is not Germany), but you can additional seasoning, the possibilities are given! Food is by the large quantities, available ... also not hot, but lukewarm-a typical caribbean thing. Health had none of us (son 5 years!) Problem, everything was great. Dreamlike sandy beach, great bars and always staff on the spot. Hotel room is a standard -room absolutely. We looked the superior rooms are almost completely the same, apart from still there bath tub and a hair dryer it is. View of the sea everything was right and nice, with a child we were however glad, on the back facilities space to have found, since there the shows at 21:30 o'clock do not disturb absolutely. The view exactly nice, if you the vegetation on Cuba also appreciate. Excursions have we declined, they are truthfully a rip-off. Now, if you like it. We waive buses with 40 people, where you from place to place shooed is. Nice to the locals and already can one privately for half the money more beautiful experiences have! We only positive experienced, except the maulenden tourist, but i still do not understand, why such people not then a 5 star hotel book-rant about the food, but 3 times per day with full plates in the restaurant. All together i can only say: excellent hotel, really recommendable and if it problem returns: friendly instructions and everything is as well as possible fixed! Certain problem, as perhaps no water for half a day are typical for a country such as Cuba - here you should on the internet check and prepare for it. Very recommendable: the bus, of 9 am. until 9 o'clock evenings fully Varadero runs for 5 cuc - the price is for the entire day, no matter where you enters or out of it. We are absolutely thrilled and can only say keep it up! read more

A dumpy hotel! Very dirty amongst others cockroaches in the room and for breakfast! Dirty coffee automat, bad clean made plates, hard rolls. In the guide have complained about and this said :' the food you and the other food you so '! Unbelievable! The showers at the beach and at the pool went times and sometimes not. After 3 days into another hotel left! Never again! read more

The hotel is a bit outdated (as everywhere on Cuba). You must have some way there marriages be able, if you Cuba toured. For cuban standards the hotel is very beautiful though. The rooms are big, clean and are equipped with everything you on vacation custom for example fridge, seating area, balcony, tv, air conditioning, safety deposit box. Internet is unfortunately not included in the price and costs on Cuba much (30 minutes for 6 cuc = about 4 €). We had all inclusive and could so often as we wanted at the à la carte restaurant food. The hotel ... has a openair desk and furthermore has a café bar, a pool table, new huge chess by the pool, books and games rental, fitness room, a small store, a bar of the lobby, a beach bar, a pool bar, a stage for the show the entertainment and a kids club. The rooms are on several houses divided (total 6 large houses and about 2 homes of the category superior). By the pool are enough sunbeds projects. read more

Very well located hotel with 24 hour all inclusive. Good starting point for strolling, restaurants, excursions. This was our 2. time in this hotel and it was again great. Staff very kind, food is more on american nature, but something for everyone-you didn't starve! We had unfortunately no that beautiful weather, but have 2 excursions made (Havanna and Trinidad with water falls)-wonderful. The rooms are huge and with a safe and fridge equipped. Lobby bar 24 hours on. Always again Cuba \u263a take enough Havanna rum with! Very cheap (1 liter -7 cuk =circa 5 Euro) read more

Very well located hotel, nearby the wonderful beach of Varadero. Chairs are always sufficiently available. We booked through Neckermann booked, big praise to the tour operator, he spoke perfect german and worries affectionately about his guests. He has for each problem an ear to lend. The food is good, there would be everyone could find. Towels for the beach are made available. Very good coffee there is in the lobby bar, at the pool bar there are delicious toasts, pizzas, etc.
For our expectations an excellent hotel - who 'luxury' would like, must the purse somewhat further open!

Initially you should be aware, one drives night Cuba! In a hotel which me a very affordable caribikurlaub made possible and it is completely reasonable! The staff were very nice and helpful. (some tourist it were unfortunately not!)
The very nice beach is right next to the hotel, the pool is rather small. Anyway we were rather on the beautiful beach. There was sufficient and free beach chairs and lots of space.
The room which we had booked was functional, was cleaned daily and with towels taken care of. (beach towels there was extra) it gat but also directly at ... the beach room the really great were, cost but also a little more. (for plus 25 cuc/day they could but to be transferred)
The food is not german! But even i, which i en very few mäkelich am, was every day find and safe full. You can also in different pub good eat out whereas the prices not really cheap. (lobster 15 cuc. =about €13.50)
A einkaufslandist Cuba not, although there are some markets but one has one saw one knows everything there the offer almost everywhere the same (state)
Rum, cigarren and music are very recommendable.
Excursions are recommendable but also quite times a tur on own fist, we were in Havanna with a rental car and it was very interesting. It is also important to absolutely small crime.
You can in the middle of the night walk without fear,
We have in Cuba great relaxed and it was all in all a very nice holiday. read more
