On a study trip we stayed the night at the Grand Yantra hotel (not to be confused with the Grand hotel). Great village with nice castle. We were very pleased, this well-kept hotel with large rooms and a great view over the valley (unfortunately, we did not the superior rooms with the valley view). The breakfast was not great (partly quickly ran out, less friendly staff), but all in all it was a great stop! read more

    The room seems rather old fashioned (the hotel is not the newest), but is a clean and reasonable state.

    We had booked breakfast only. The breakfast is up to "normal" (bread, cheese, jams, cereals, tea, cake, Banitza ... ) and is of good quality.

    Very friendly staff. Porter will take luggage to the room.

    There is a pool and jacuzzi. Fixed proves to be pretty cold. There was an additional charge each sauna and steam room. This was lack of time but we did not try it out.

    Good hotel with a direct view to the historic fort.

    Best possible location on the hillside. Availabiltiy advance booking is rooms with direct view of the fortress. The panoramic glass is not too shabby either.
