We were already in many towns the world, wether in Asien, orient, Europa or USA.
However such a bad hotel, in the just punishment threatening to do, if you for example in the room smokes, and that you have to sign must, I have never experienced something like that. Furthermore the rooms are only dark holes. The staff are uninterested, and white socks were black, if you have no shoes in the room walk!
Furthermore the borough is the unmöglichste in San Francisco. The inhabitants remember me of the slums of Bangkok. So I have nothing good to the dol ... hotel. Unfortunately! read more

About the location this hotel was already much written - it is very centrally situated, one is in a few minutes in Market Street and has access to the public transport. Was a really good the area however not: you can see a lot of homeless people and some dark Make. However was the location for us, never threatening, we were never approached.
We made unfortunately the experience, that we first a room with only a very narrow bed got. We asked then at the front desk, whether we the room on own costs exchange may, a larger bed to ... get. The employee was very understanding and gave us-without additional charge - a room with two single beds in the side building - not least we were impressed.
The furnishing is modern and functional. Safe is in the room available. Our bathroom had a window.
The parking is in a Garagendeck or in the inner courtyard possible (25 $plus tax-what the standards in San Francisco even cheap). We had the feeling, that the car there certainly is.
For us is the good hotel the perfect hotel for San Francisco - we would gladly come again! read more

I stayed at this hotel for my trip once the room changed. Both rooms long as apartments directly on the inner courtyard, as the parking used. The walls are thin, the rooms nearby the street accordingly played. The hotel lies in the 7. street and the area is- straight evenings - not the best. For bars and restaurant you go 10 minutes in the direction the city center. For a few Nights the hotel is good-I would say, not in the immediate vicinity the street to be accommodated. During my presence were many European tourists in the house. read more

The hotel is a convenient alternative if you a short stay in SF has. Evenings it is however because of the Obdachlosenheims in the direction North a little oppressive by the streets to walk. The traffic connections was super. We can the hotel itself but only praise! The front desk is 24 hours occupied and parking are also available! We would recommend this book this hotel again at any time! read more

After the reviews when HolidayCheck do of the hotel not so bad were, we from the several times mentioned bad location not hold-there were only three nights. BUT: the area is really not good. One should always begin with a mulmigen feeling Towards union Square and is pleased, if one not in the feces various homeless and of those in peace is left. There is no beautiful first impression from San Francisco!
To the hotel: the rooms are shabby, the bathroom is mini small and with us we could on the first night unfortunately the bath door (sliding door) not ... close-as you could use the toilet rather reluctantly! The bed is contrary to all other American hotels really small (1.40 meters ), so that it fluffy is. The air conditioning could unfortunately not warm, which at an outdoor temperature of 10 degrees not particularly have fun power. Our friends had their room on the ground floor with a door to the parking. Here were permanently cars moved by, smokers together chatted, etc.
For a future visit, we would this hotel definitely not again. It was at about 12 hotels our round trip the worst. No way for the young and the young remained. We are not old (27 years) but for this hotel definitely too old. Rather a youth hostel. read more

For two young women the location of the hotel rather unsuitable. At night it is not advisable to the road to go.
Although we a double room had booked, we got a single room with double bed ( unusual for us )
Was positive however the one within less than 5 minutes the public transport distance. read more

The location of the hotel is good actually questionable, for two was that everything was in order but travellers or families the hotel is not recommendable. It is not only the homeless, there are many strange designed around the hotel. The hotel itself looked nice and modern all the photos, this lies not photos, but it is extremely shabby. The sofa in the lobby has quite many stains, the hallways didn't work at all. Broken wallpaper, weird railing and painted a more pungent odor to ignore, as if you are in the kitchen of a Chinese restaurants-paired with old muff. ... Our room and furniture was fine, nice and not dirty. The bathroom was an impertinence, was extremely small and the sink was in the room already integrated. We showered with flip flops and are in the room on the carpet not go barefoot. Shabby youth Hotel-or maybe we are too picky, but all in all, we would not recommend this hotel. Modern decor is not always everything ☺ read more

I would recommend the hotel, unfortunately due to the location, although the hotel itself is really nice and clean. Around but unfortunately not at all, because there are so many junkies, homeless or physically sick on the streets. It is recommended also, in no case in the 6th Street to go (just one block away), it is very dangerous and often to robbery etc. is dated. We are at night with the taxi back to the hotel, as we simply not welcome in the area. The first impression of San Francisco this hotel unfortunately not so nice and you can't ... return to the hotel, so I would recommend to book, a hotel before the 5th Street, here, it was super nice and much safer. A shame for the hotel itself, because it is, as I said, really well run and clean. read more

A nice, modern, clean and " hip " hotel centrally located in San Francisco. Only five to ten minutes walk to Market Street, Cabel car station, shopping mall, museums... Right next to the hotel there were many Backshops, a subway, fast food stores etc. However, as I have stayed at the other Beitraegen mentioned, not the best area-lots of homeless people, but we didn't have the bother.
The hotel " the good " is perfect for a trip! read more

Small, nice hotel in a strange environment. We were two women and have us in this area not so much. Many homeless due to the nearby homeless shelter. We were never approached and were always quickly toward the center of town. The hotel in other and central location would have been more easily. However, this comes at a hostel hotel before. Room are stylish and partly with IKEA furniture. Size was OK. Our room was facing the street out, what was quite noisy. The bathroom was very small and dark, but also OK and clean.
To the left of the ... hotel there was a small Asian restaurant. There it tasted very good and it is very cheap. Across the street is a subway. The hotel restaurant is currently under construction and was therefore closed.
We have explored San francisco with our hop on hop off bus ticket. Simply super, as you in a short time see much. Stop close to the hotel. Alcatraz tickets had we from Germany over the Internet already reserved. We were first thing in the morning to ten hours and was still there not much going on. read more

Goodearth hotel stands out by color, shape and design from the American chains unit-all sorts from.
the traffic connections was okay, you could walk about 5 minutes the Civic center and from there with public transport directly to downtown or even Fishermans Wharf.
unfortunately the direct area not the best, but also San Francisco is a major city with the problems. We had but no restrictions, so there is nothing more to say.
the rooms are modern and individually furnished, with regard to the charm of the hotel don't mind.
the restaurant was during our stay renovated, so we can ... dining, breakfast etc. do not evaluate, but that wasn't so bad, since we were rather in the city eaten have. read more

public transport such as bus and cable car are reachable on foot within a few minutes walking distance. A hotel Parking costs 20 $per day, compared to the rest of the parking fees which in San Francisco, is a bargain. The rooms are very small by American standards, as well as the bathroom. In the room there is a double bed (queen size), sideboard with tv is available. A small closet, which at the same time, the functions wardrobe, storage room for suitcases, the safe and the ironing board combines, is one of them. Breakfast was included in the room ... price not included in the price. read more

The room and hotel were very good for the price. The bed was comfortable. Internet was available in the room and also the safe was free. The room was not the largest, but nicely furnished. You could hear the neighbors a little, but it was still in limits of the tolerable. At first we had a room right next to the stairwell. The stairwell, it was very noisy. There was an elevator, but until the arrived was much quicker. After friendly we then got a different room. That was good. The staff was nice and helpful. The area was very ... suspect. I would not alone at night in dark streets! To Union square it was a 15 minute walk and about eight minutes to the Civic Center attached to the hotel a pizzeria (good pizza). However, the pizza is 'good' ☺ I would once again no. It is very expensive and not worth the money at all. Since the hotel was on the cheaper it above average. I would go back to this hotel good. read more

We have felt for the us in the hotel two nights very comfortable and as you really are underway the whole day, is to look at the city, it is more than enough! Parking is quite limited, but has the possibility in the hotel across the street to be car bodies.
