The location is great, since Mata Palo tourism still not really was discovered. On the beach You are almost alone and can wonderful swimming in the Pacific. For the 'green season' is therefore important to consider also, whether Mata Palo is the right choice, as the town is almost empty and you sometimes must seek, in order to get something to eat at night.
Gilles-owner of the opposite of the 'hotels' -the albergue Suiza has taken over from the former Swiss owner, but so thinly. The rooms are not clean nor acceptable. It requires a certain Address, there to shower. ... And our friends went at the The electric shower head up in smoke. read more

We were looking for a simple accommodation, which we had found this. The room was very spacious and simple equipped with refrigerator. Hammocks and sun loungers for those Beach are available. Air conditioners are being installed at the moment. If Gilles time, he showed us the immediate environs of Mata Palo (beaches, rocks, water falls), we have not found. Gilles speaks English and Spanish. The German speaking owner is not here any more, unfortunately. Gilles daughter makes delicious breakfast. The small restaurant is comfortable and clean. We were very pleased and would again at any time in case there. Thanks ... To Gilles ☺ The beach is 2 minutes away, clean and mostly deserted. read more
