Very nice hotel. However without a car somewhat very remotely, therefore, it makes sense to rent a car.
Very friendly staff and delicious food. Breakfast is a bit poor, as it in Italy general is. read more

A charming, quiet and family-run complex, the comfort rather simple and modest expectations met, in particular as regards the quality of the room furnishings and of the bathroom. A car is because of the dirty beach locally however absolute Duty. Nearby there are however numerous smaller bays with clean beach sections and lovely clean sea, particularly in Tropea about 7 kilometers away. Tropea is more than worth a visit, in particular evenings in the small streets with numerous restaurants.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, also the lady at the reception. The food was fortunately varied, typical of the ... country and really delicious. Vegetarians could even special wishes comment! The breakfast was typical of the country modest but perfectly adequate.
The pool is clean and welcoming, as well as the numerous loungers. Tennis- and football fields, as well as table tennis are available.
We will be back, no question! read more

Smaller holiday villagio with complex services suitable for all categories of clients.
In May, operated a central, pleasant family-run apartment hotel 200 m from the beach, with big swimming pool in a lovely garden. There are also sport facilities, playground, tour desk, rent-a-car and other services available. Nice restaurant, bar and terasse.
Hotel fully complies with category 3 * in Italy, service and hospitality - especially gastronomy at 4 *.
Responsiveness and hospitality of the hotel owner and the receptionist at a high level.

We had a very nice holiday, we have seen a lot of nice beaches in the area.
This was our second holiday to Old River and we want to go next year again!
The family wich owns the complex are very, very nice and everything is so clean, also the garden was beautiful! read more

The price/performance ratio is wrong! If you're looking for peace and no action may, this hotel is a good aifgehoben. The staff was absolutely friendly, with hands and feet and with a bit of Italian or English you got along well. A rental car is highly recommended! A great place to relax and very well-kept area! For a short break in the off-season, I would definitely choose this hotel again! read more

I would like, as the other reviews of the hotel have come. They are clearly to positive and not the actual condition of the hotel correspond.
The topic of service and I can't say anything actually customer, since I could not say. The receptionist went on our questions, not one, had no smile for us and responded visible annoying on our complaints.
The gastronomy also to be desired. The three courses, the rooms available at the dinner are served, rich volume for a toddler straight. As a main course expected a small piece of meat, if you were lucky has ..., like this also. If one wants to supply itself, you must shell Küchenbenutzung 100 euro for the week.
The room is Spartan; a hair dryer you should bring itself, there is no rental. TV costs about 20 euros per week. The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. In the bathroom we found mold in the shower, what us but little has surprised.
The cleanliness of the room can only tell you, that the cleaning lady to clean the room not expended has. The beds were not fresh bed linen and towels changed very seldom. You should bring towels itself, there's more similar to the dish.
The whole area made a rather shabby impression. All in all disappointing. read more

The hotel has rather a youth hostel character, everything is very simple and the breakfast and dinner one-sided and little well served: seven days scrambled eggs, canned fruit and cheap cheese and sausage. Pasta with little taste and imagination, meat dishes of very poor quality, still not even arranged apetizingly, cheap, cheap, cheap!
Cleanliness in the room left a lot to be desired, dust everywhere, the bathroom moldy and the towels were changed only twice a week. A trash can in the bathroom it was not. The use of the refrigerator with 50.00 should be paid extra. Can we ... not recommend this hotel. read more

Beach in close proximity. If the beach or pool not only want to, want to rent a car. Super nice and friendly staff at the hotel. A typical three star hotel, definitely recommend to anyone on. We have it very much.

The transportation to and from the hotel is very clean and hubsch. Our apartment was big and has everything what you need to stay at was but not beautiful. The rooms are dark and just unpleasant! The restaurant is new and super clean, but the atmosphere-just as also in the cafeteria. The food was not good. Us has also the many disposable bags and boxes at the breakfast buffet hurt. The beach was away for further than described and the beach not inviting! The hotel has no own beach umbrellas and beach chairs at the beach. We have saved our ... holiday, we have rented by a car and can therefore excursions. We believe, that much more can be made from the area, as it really is very hubsch and well maintained. read more

On the low price can not complain about the trip you. It is a basic hotel. If one has no car, it is difficult to do something to. Car or scooter you can rent at the hotel. The beach was within walking distance but not perfect. Beautiful beaches to reach with the car fast. Dinner was very good (100% Italian). read more
